I wonder if anyone else is having this problem. I recently had to reinstall everything from Vista on down. I've got everything back, but with RC4.3, I'v had to enter the registration 3 times already. For whatever reason, everything will be fine and then I'll load RC and all I get is the registration screen. So, of course, I have to contact John again for a new unlock code. It's getting tedious. I'm wondering if maybe I should load RC as administrator. Would this keep the program from losing the registration code. Any help would be appreciated.Mike

The first thing is simple: allow us total keyboard input choice, not just Ctrl/Sh & numbers. (This has to do with any number of addons that require keyboard inputs that may conflict with those used in RC4 - in my case the LDS767.)Secondly, allow us, when we file our plan, to choose an 'event' - Go Around, Divert to Alternative or Hold - which we'd be given on the fly - not pre-programmed by us but thrown at us inflight. And as an extension to that allow us to ask for a random event: RC4 (5?) chooses one or more with no advance warning and we have to deal with it.I'd like to say that I'm not proficient enough yet to be able to deal with this (at least not at 'Heavy' sp…

hi allwhen i try to import a fsx flight plan, it imports ok, but there is no arrival and departure aiport in the flight plan (in RC).then when i go and click controller there is no departure or arrival airport in the respectful fields.however if i boot up fs9 then the fs9 flightplan loads ok into RC and everything is fine,any ideas of whats going on?do i need another version of RC for FSX?i have RC V4.3 from memory.regards

I get instructions to taxi to runway X and hold short. There are several taxiways to choose from and I pick one and I am on my way. I suddenly come face-to-face with an aircraft coming the other way. We both stop and stare at each other. I then try to taxi around him but I clip a wing and crash down goes the flight. Is there a way to get rid of that other plane? Frustrating after all the work to get that far..Thanks.John

For some reason RC for FSX won't reconize EGLC airport. When I start RC, none of the boes are checked and when I press start RC, RC moves my aircraft from the gate into the water. I rebuilt database twice.Bill M :(

How do I use RC4 with the PMDG 737 and such planes. I use VATSIM frequently, and I thought that it would be interesting to see if RC4 would be better.

I was looking to take a hop in the PMDG 737-700 (C40) but can't locate the call sign "Navy" in my choice menu. The Air Force, Army, Coast Guard, and Marines are all there but the Navy must be on Deployment . How do I add it as a choice? I seem to recall it being there previously but it's been quite a while since I flew a Navy mission with FS9.Any help will be appreciated.Steve LewisCAPT USNR (Ret)

Hallo,Is there any minimal distance between airports when holding option (checked as "ON" in RC's menu) will work?I usually prepare flight plans with distance to fly about 100-150nm and I've noticed that there is no holding from ATC at all.

hi..when i fly with rc and level d 767 the flt goes perfect until time to land. i capture the localiser , on the localiser, then hit app, the three lights light up and the aircraft just keeps flying..does not do the autoland..any ideas...thanks ken

I have reinstalled RC4 from the CD which was version 4.0. Now I need to upgrade it to 4.3 but I can't find the upgrade patches. Found some releasenotes where that info should be given but none of the links given there works.

Hi all,I am just wondering if I use a STAR that requires ATC vectors after the star ends or at a point during the star how does RC handle this?For example I flew NTAA - YSSY shooting the 34L this requires ATC vectors after a point.If I inform RC ATC that I want to fly an IAP it leaves me alone until I am around 6-4 miles from the runway so how will it interact with me if the approach requires vectors after X point in the star.I did try but did not wait for any interaction from RC ATC and just vectored myself on a 90 deg left turn and then a 90 deg right turn again to intercept the ILS. RC ATC did not contact me untill I was 4 miles out for clearence to Land.Am I right in …

Hello there. My first post on any forum.. I have been using RC v4 for a while, and really enjoying it. However, I have had to rebuild my computer after a major meltdown. I re installed RC, but it keeps coming up with error message:"COMDLG32.OCX or one of its dependencies not currently registered, a file is missing or invalid"... when I try to start it. Of course it won't run. Is a registration issue? Can anyone help, as I am missing using RC..

This has been happening a lot lately and is getting annoying.Let's say there are three planes ahead of me in line to take-off. When I approach from behind them and am told to contact tower, tower tells me "you are #4 for take-off". When I aknoledge, around 3/4 of the time I suddenly see an "abort take-off" option in the UI and all the AI traffic freezes, even the planes ahead of me that are halfway taxying from the hold short to the runway. RC says I'm number 4, but acts as if I'm #1.The only way I can get the AI going again is to hit the abort take-off button again and then hit "try again". I have been using rc4.3 for a long time, I had to reinstall. I now have no sound from rcv4.3 in fsx. I do have sound on the sim and from msfsx atc.Any ideas??thoughts??peter

Hi honorable Captains !I have amongst a few lap tops also a second desk top computer.As for the latter one it is located in the same room as my main computer (my FS computer of course).I understand it would be grate using FSWide to take advantage of a second computer for RC, having separate sound and maybe increasing the FPS a bit.My question is if my second computer has sufficient specs for this configuration.The spec is low with only 1.4Ghz AMD processor and I'm afraid poorly 512 MB RAM.However, would that do for running RC ?I have a wireless network configuration.Carl

I just noticed some little differences to the real european ATC :1. After Take-Off the Tower don't advices the pilot to contact Departure. This one is bugging me slightly, so far unable to resolve...On every flight plan I do, I am consistantly asked by the controller,- "Sir your off your filed route of course fly heading XXX until recieving suitable own navigation" ... But I am already flying the heading the controller is giving me.For example, I am doing a flight KSDF - PHNL, I have just departed rwy 35R, and turn to my 1st waypoint- MYS, 29nm away. At MYS I fly towards PXV, a course of 275 .... but im told to fly a heading of 275 by the controller repeatedly, although I already am.This seems to happen if I am flying between 2 waypoints that 10nm apart, or 200nm apart.Dan

hi..when i want to save a radar contact flt i.. minimize fsx, click on rc in the taskbar, click on rc quit button, check to see if ** will start again by bringing back fsx, minimizing fsx and starting rc..i click on the load previously saved button..it comes to a rc saved flights box and there is an icon, not the file name..i click on the icon and it says it cant find the file...i was doing tutorial number 2 when this happened..any help appreciated..rgds ken
