Hello, :( Can some one please help me?I only fly Flight Simulator X but I can't get rc4x to start. After I type in,C:\Programs Files\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X, I get A message saying, ( RC rebuilding r4.csv, running \MakeRwys.exe ) when I cleck ok I get another message saying ( RC finushed rebuilding r4.csv ) I cleck ok and I get another message saying ( RC rebuilding new a4.csv file ) when I cleck ok I get an error message saying ( Run-time error ' 6 ' : overflow ). Please can you help me with this problem?Thanks :(

HiI'm not sure if RadarContact has something to do with it - I always use RadarContact(4)...Once in a while I have a CTD with the error message that the module atc.dll was the cause of the CTD. Now I am not sure what to do about it. Is it Radar Contact related, is it soemthing else. It happens so far around London and San Francisco. But not always...Any suggestions welcome.thxMartin

After activated RC for flight, 1-How can I hide "mini screen" ?or2-How can hold "Mini screen" in only Cockpit view not in Outside View?ThanksSanal

Hello all, I have searched the forum and have not been able to find any posts with respect to this specific topic. For example, when instructed by a controller to switch to a different frequency, and that controller begins instructing someone else before you make the switch, it is then impossible for you to effect that change to a new frequency, until the new dialog is completed, a dialog which has no relevance to you. I would think that this is highly unrealistic, or is it a problem which I am alone experiencing. :( Best Regards,GodfreyG :(

Hi,I'm new to Radar Contact and I wondered if there was a way to turn down the volume of the pre-recorded atc chatter. Sometimes it can be too loud compared to the FS sound levels and can be distracting when running through checklists etc.Thanks.

We are not talking about the standard RC Display box.WE are referenced, to the red text on a green background, that displays the controllersinformation on a seperate display lines(s). This is actived by opening the RC window, check General.check on DISPLAY TEXT.The controller gives the audio message and then displays the same message in the red text, on green background.The problem: The last word or last number, in the audio, does not display. I just re-installed RC4 from the CD after a major computer upgrade. My current e-mail address is different from the one I had at the initial registration a few yers ago. i was wondering if anyone has seen this, and knows a workaround.what i found, is if i disable the two monitors on the second graphics card (7800gtx), leaving the primary graphics card (8800gtx), fsx starts fine.i'm guessing that the 7800gtx is too old, and doesn't support dx10, or shaders 1.1 or something like that, and the 88gtx does.is there a way in the fsx.cfg file to tell fsx, only pay attention to the 8800gtx, and to ignore the 7800gtx?jd

RCv4 is signalling a runtime 76 error which is new behavior since yesterday when I installed: ESET's NOD32 a/v trial program and FS2CREW ATR FS9I normally start FS9 at an airport supported by AES, and load RC4 after that and have had not problems until today. With the addition of FS2CREW, I wonder if that has locked out RC4. Or is there a NOD32 parameter which needs adjusting?Anyone have any help to offer. I have seen posts where other users seem to have no trouble with the integration of RC4 and FS2CREW.thanks,Dom

All;I was flying the PMDG 737NG - 700 under FS9 from LAX to Tucson this morning and along the way I was told to contact center on a new frequency. I dialed in the frequency on the Saitek radio panel, pushed Active/Standby and then 1 to contact center (I had already pushed 7 to acknowledge). I noticed the ATC window said NA with nothing else appearing. Then the window displayed a normal condition and ATC barked at me to contact center on the same frequency. Without switching back, I pushed 7 and heard my acknowledgement. I then pushed 1 and again NA. this repeated itself one more time with ATC getting mad at me (very realistic by the way) and then it suddenly accepte…

If you change the radius of the 737-800/900--will this change the aircrafts performance or cause other problems? The reason I ask is that I read (I think it was in the afcad manual or a "tips and tricks" newsletter that used to go out) that by changing the aircraft radius and, using afcad, changing a specific parking spot radius to match it (using a number lower than any other aircraft used by fs9)--ground control, upon landing, would direct you to that spot every time. I have done that in my posky 737-900 which I used to fly before getting the pdmg 737-900 and it did always work. Hi,I do love RC as it respects the routes we plan. Anyway This is the first time i left an Uncontrolled airport to another uncontrolled airport. KEAR to KBFF (a bid flight from Airsource). Anyway, when I started RC4 I received from the start 2 options. 2. WX FFS and4. CLR from FFSWhathever I press I get no response, So I checked in the controller info telling me Unicomm is 122.80 and Center 119.40. Fine those 2 radios are set. I heard 1 time that a plane was gone take of from Rwy 18. But when I press the button 2 or 4, absolutly nothing happens for me, I tried 2 times, after 30 minutes of test, I gave up and took off hoping I would be able to contact center on 119.40. Nop…

Hello,When i press a key for menu select, it takes approx 2 to 5 seconds to actually "enter" the selected option so i hear the request.When i press "7" to acknowledge for sample, the response is not immediate (as it is in FSX ATC) but there is a delay of 2 - 5 seconds.This is a bit frustrating as it slow all the process to my opinion.Is it normal behaviour for RC4 or not ?Is there a way to have "immediate" response from input like in FSX ATC ?Thank youComma

Hi again :( ,I'm doing tutorial number 2 and I can't get to generate my *rcd file. I declared the path to save the RCD with my FSX flights. I save my flight and get a working : *flt, *FSSave, *.Wx but no RCD.What should I do?

I just finished my first flight with RC: The tutorial #1 KDSM to KORD. I enjoyed it a lot but I had a bad surprise on final.I was clear to land but just a little bit before I pass the runway threshold, I saw another airplane lining up on the runway. I never hear the tower allowing this airplane to get in but the airplane did it anyway and of course the tower asked me to go around. I didn't have much time so I decided to land anyway in front of the other airplane :( and upon arrival my license was nicely taken away from me :( !Is there any reason why I didn't hear the AI airplane being clear for line-up and TO and is there anyway to prevent this kind of joke! my new pmdg MD-11 is really sensitive concerning Sim Accelleration (R+)and even with 2x it will hit its Waypoint wide with a couple of milesany chance to increase the 'over waypoint - OK - sequence' somewhere with a couple of more miles?ATC keeps sending me 180 - and I have to keep punching in DCTsand now I cannot make coffee :( (or my atlantics take ages :( )thxmt

I'm bout 40 miles out of KJAX do a weather request and get arriving and departing runway 7. No probs I enter it in FMC.... Get told to contact Approach and told arrival runway 23 .... Anyone see where I'm going with this?So I'm so close to the runway I can taste it and lo and behold guess who is doing the joust thing coming the other way.. another airliner... well it being the competition and all.. I ingnore the insignificant go around radio traffic.....I think JD just loves calling FSDO on me... they even took my license :-( * I gave them a fake one so I can still fly :-) * )So why did RC give me the totally opposite runway when AI traffic is using the other one?
