what is the .flt / .wx path button, when i click it where do i point it to for the path? what in fsx

I have a problem with the registration.I requested a new RC key after a reinstall in my newly installed Windows 7. I start the program as admin and put in the new key. After about 5 seconds the registration box just disappear.When i start RC again the registration box come back. I then try several times with the same key and also requested a new one. Same problem.Flying with default ATC gives me the creeps after using RC for long time.Anybody who can help me with this please?RegardsMorten M

I just purchased and installed RC4.3.I test the voices under Radar Contact Options -> Voices -> Pilots, CoPilots and Controllers.The voices are all like this file here http://www.sendspace.com/file/pxpm6wI cannot understand what they are saying at all.However, the voices under Radar Contact Options -> Voices -> Chatter pilots are all great.the good voice file is here http://www.sendspace.com/file/bmevjmI include this file just becuase I want to make sure its not the problem of my mic. I wan't to run RC 4.3 for FSX on a separate computer connected to my FSX computer via network. Do I need WIDEFS7 and or registered FSUIPC for that? Or can I use SimConnect like ASA?

Heres an idea I thought I would shoot to the development team. Would it be possible to create a callsign maker? I imagine it could work like this:1. Have the voice actors record all the phonetic sounds and letters (such as long a and short a, etc)2. Assemble a program where we can assemble all the neccessary sounds to create our callsign.3. Have the program fuse the sounds together to create and install the new callsign to the proper folder4. Run Radar Contact and enjoy them!I dont know how hard it would be to do this, but I know you can do this now with editvoicepack.Just an idea! :( -GoldWings-

Hi ,I am quite new to RC but am gradually getting the hang of the basics.Over the last few days I have done 3 flights and at about a third the way through I am told that I am off course and that I should head xxx deg.This new heading DOES in fact take me MILES off course.I can't understand why this happens.As I say,this has happened three times now,any ideas anyone?tia Alan

I was flying a route from Orange County CA (SNA) to Las Vegas NV (LAS) and about halfway there the controller came on and started giving me instructions due to saturation. Wow that caught me off guard but I know it happens in the real world. I thought I had it all down as he said to return to the previous VOR and hold and at an altitude. I did CS/ to get the last transmission but all it repeated was the altitude. I went back to the VOR and using the CDU I entered the hold and after two or three laps around ATC came back and gave me an altimeter reading. I made laps for about 30 minutes by advancing the time about 10 minutes or so every couple of laps and all I eve…

I've been experiencing Runtime 52 and Runtime 75 errors, specifically, on flightsfrom Burbank KBUR to Palm Springs KPSP.jd has suggested I might want to make sure my firewall has been set to "trust" RC.I think I've made the right changes to the firewall settings, but I am still getting the errors. I have the latest version of the old RC4 for FS2004 and it gives the compass direction and distance to the active runway. A lot of the time I need more help that that. I have a new computer and I'm using default ATC and the PINK ribbon to find my way to the active. Have they improved the "way to the active" in the newer version and if so, how does it work? After using RC successfully for many hours all of a sudden I get this error message after I push the 'Fly Now' button. Runtime error '76' Radar Contact fsuipc.rc4code Does anybody have any suggestions on how to rectify this?I'm also using Ultimate Traffic along side RC Tom

We were about 1500 ft from the "center point" of the show, which was a coast guard tender anchored off of Pensacola beachWe were also sitting perpendicular to the path they flew, parallel to the beach, and over the center point. So I has several shots of planes heading straight for me.The ones that flew from behind me, over the center point were surprises, so I didn't have many of those.You will see several shots with just two planes. I had everything working fine. Then I had to reinstall everything when I had a massive crash. Now, when I start FSX in windowed mode (which is the only way I can see my desktop to open anything else) and then start RC4, no matter what my location is, RC4 sends me to Lat 0 Long 0 and, of course, I crash into the water. I'm running everything as administrator. If I run FSX in full screen, then I can't see the icon for RC4 to start it. Any ideas why I'm being sent to the coast of Africa? Thanks. I have always had this problem since getting RC, and just thought instead of putting up with it why not ask if there is a fix, this happens to me I would say 80% of the time, Im at the gate cold and dark the weather has been set to realworld conditions, Im going through my setup and checklists, I tune to the ATIS get the weather and departing runway, and everything is spot on to the realworld conditions, I get my clearance and finish programing the FMC with the proper SID, I push and start call for taxi and then ground tells me to taxi to a totally different RW, for example today I was departing from CYVR today, the wind was coming in 110@12knts, the ATIS called RW 08L as…

I have AI chatter checked but half of the time I experience default ATC talking to default pilot voices, then the other half of the time I experience RC's ATC voice talking to other plane who reply in RC's voices.Anyone know why?RC V4.3

Hey JD, would it be possible to make RC5 detect the code 7700 and interpret that as an emergency, like in real life -- would add a lot of realism! Real ATC would surely react if they saw somebody squawk one of the relevant codes...

I was running a test flight in FSX with the PMDG MD-11 info the default KSFO, and noted that as I was approaching the airfield the response time for Radar Contact got slower and slower...the frame rate also decayed, until the sim froze with 9 fps showing on the frame counter.I re-ran it, with traffic turned down from 60% to 35%, and there was no lockup, but the response times got pretty slow again. Tried again at 60% with GA traffic turned way down, and it cleared me to land while I was about halfway down the rwy on landing rollout.I was also running ASA (wx was scattered clouds) via SimConnect from a remote PC.Anyone else seen this sort of slowdown? Getting a error, comdlg32.ocx is missing. I tried to follow links in previous posts but they dont seem to work anymore.

I set up a flight plan that ends at a VOR that is the IAF for a runway but of course the runway has not been assigned as I am at the departure airport. Everything is great and I fly along interacting with ATC and when I get to the last waypoint prior to the VOR mentioned, I get clearance to ILS runway xx. I have to go to my CDU and select that ILS from the Dep/Apr key and when I do (and the hit EXEC) the approach lights up on the expanded map mode showing the "route" in the magenta color.I then click APP on the MCP and the CDU flashes Invalid Nav and the APP light will not light. I notice my radio stack has the incorrect frequency for the ILS in the NAV1 box. I cannot…

Hello, im new to RC but not to flight simming as you can expect using the default ATC ive never had to do half the things im asked to do now. (and getting wrong for not doing right lol).I understand and can follow the atc instructions but dont in some cases have a full if at all any understanding of some, which aslong as i get though it i dont mind.However im dreading the day i get asked to go into a hold, and would like to know if ther is an idiots guide to acheving this?Kind regardsed

there is any option to save the state of the RC?lets say that i am in a middle of flight and want to save it and continue later, what i am doing today is save the flight from the simulator by pressing ;but when i resume the flight the radar contact start from the dep airport and not from where i am!anyone can help?
