Hi, I just got aismooth and was wondering how do you set up the aismooth settings? I see alot of people saying what are the best settings for aismooth but how do you go into the settings and set up the seperation of the ai planes and things like that? And also, what is the best traffic settings with world of ai. I have just about every big airline with world of ai, but what is the best traffic setting I can set my FSX traffic sliders too? Just wondering how you guys who use WOAI or other .bgl based AI merged your Delta and United AI after the two companies merged with Northwest and Continental? Currently I am using WOAI packages for all four of those airlines and was thinking of decompiling all four then moving the Northwest flight plans into the Delta ones and reassinging the NW paints to equalivant Delta paints, then doing the same with United/Continental. The only thing is I want to avoid overload of Delta and United a/c originating from the departure/arrival airports. Then of course there is the need to download a bunch of United repaints for all the aircraft. Unfortunately WOAI doesnt see…

OK Guys. I will be installing FSX on a new system that I built. From what I have read on the various AVSIM threads, it looks like DirectX 9 is the version to go with. Can someone please confirm this. Also, I have overclocked my system. From what I read on NickN's install instructions, it looks like I should unclock my system before getting FSX installed and tweaked? Does this sound right? I've been looking around for instructions on how to perform a cold start on Eaglesoft's Citation X v1.0. If those instructions are around, would someone please point me in the right direction? I was registered at the Eaglesoft forums, but apparently they have reset everything again, and I am awaiting confirmation. Thanks for your help.

Hi all, I'm using FSX and I've noticed my engine animations don't appear to be working correctly. By this I mean there is no 'in between'. For example, if I shut down the engines they don't 'slow down'. They get stuck on a repeating animation (which looks fast) and then when the engines have stopped they suddenly jump to the stopped animation, ie stationary fan blades etc. There's no visible slowin down of the blades. I've notices this across most of my aircraft except the PMDG NGX. This includes Wilco Evo packs, MD11X, 747X etc. Is anyone else suffering this? I went through a full reinstall of windows today and it still hasn't resolved it. Any help?

Hi guys. I am planning on buying either UTX or GEX to replace my ground textures within FSX. I will be buying either package for north america at first. I was wondering if anyone can give an opinion as to which product is more realistic. Also, do they both work well with REX 2.0? Would I see a big difference? Thanks hamoody

Captains, An overall question. I am seriously considering jumping in the NGX experience. And also considering getting FS2Crew to go along with it. Should I start by learning the NGX by itself and then adding FS2Crew or should I start right away using both? Many thanks...

Specifically, I’m looking for a couple of people to record about a 100 wave files The program is called Flight Simulator First Officer (FSFO). As the name implies, it’s designed to act as Virtual Copilot to assist with multiple task involved with flying a modern aircraft. Think of it as a combination of Wilco’s “Call for…” and Flight Deck Companion (FDC)/FDC 2011. However, there’s a noticeable exception, it’s free. I just recently purchased the Phenom 100 LE JET. Love it so far although it took some work to get off the ground. The promo video showed pics from the passenger compartment and I was told there was a way to setup up the flight sim to show and view. Can anyone help me get to that point. Have been unable to figure it out so far. Thanks

Hello, Is there a way to change the interior night lighting in the cockpit of a given airplane to "nighteye red" (or just red), for easier out-of-the cockpit viewing during night flights? If so, how can I do it, and what would I need to do? Any helpful info would be appreciated. aputech

Right, I'm not new to fax however, I used to have it on my PC with windows 7 installed and when I wanted to freely change the locked spot camera I used arrows (up, down, left, right) on my keyboard without the need of pressing SHIFT + Arrows. Now I installed fax on my mac which also runs win7 on bootcamp and I have to hold SHIFT in order to use my arrows as navigation of camera because otherwise the arrows act like controls of the plane (even with mouse enabled) Is there any way of getting this back please? Hi Guys, SSD prices in New Zealand are finally starting to come down enough that I bought my first one this morning. I got an Intel SSD 330 series 60gb. I am going to use this drive for Windows 7 exclusively. I am planning on getting a larger 240gb SSD (or bigger) down the road but they still run for about $500 in New Zealand so that one will wait for now. I have Accu-feel and EZ-dok. Accu-Feel is awesome, and EZ-dok is too complicated, i never got it to work at all. Anyone got any advice for EZ-dok? Or is there anything better out there?
