is there a program where someone could download it and then you hook up m/p and then allow that other person to throw failures at you? that would be good to practice..

Hi there people. During gameplay especially when i have it set to cloudy/foggy particulary in built up aread or areas in high detail the gameplay goes in kind of slow motion... I am using something called FSX Booster but it still doesnt completely fix the issue. Im quite surprised that as i think the PC i use is quite high spec. It is: AMD-A8-3820 APU With Radeon HD Graphics (HD 6550D) 2.5 Ghz, 4 GB RAM, 64bit OS Win 7. Can someone advise me for adjustments to settings which allows me to still see buildings etc and hills but stops this slow motion like gameplay? Thanks guys.

I was going through the crossfire profiles on the AMD 11.6 beta CCC and noticed a profile for FSX and for Flight. I don't think I've noticed these before. I'm wondering if anyone else has seen these, and if so, how long have they been around? Have you noticed a difference when running these crossfire profiles?

I love this.. but I think my shadow is a bit dark.. what settings do I use to lighten it up a bit? I don't know the difference between the shadowamountday vs shadowscreenlevel etc.. Hi i just upgraded to REX Essential but i don't know if i installed it right. Because everything is find is just that i can't see the weather theme i mean know is there but it just i can't see them . I also bought the prepar 3D license key . I don't think that had anything to do with it . But i just hope if i have to upgrade again i don't have to buy the license key to this product. Please anyone know how to fix this issue ?

As the title says... I got the REX grass texture and it's made all of my FSDT ground textures messed up. Tried to replace it with the default but I somehow didn't make a backup, so I now don't have it. I searched all over google but past users have gotten PM's for it so no download links. Can anyone share it? Cheers

Since more and more plane add-ons are developed without 2D panels, I thought I give the VC another try and ask the community how to transition best. Complex airliners the size of an ERJ and up is what I'm almost exclusively flying. I have tried to become accustomed to VC panels in the past several times using head trackers and camera position utilities and the likes, but have never made it to a point where I was convinced to abandon the familiar 2D pit. The main reasons for this are mainly: During the critical phases of flight (landing,...) I have my hands on the yoke and the throttle, so no time/possibility to use the mouse, maybe the keyboard if keys can be pressed…

Hello,I have already read a lot about FSX crashes that appear after you have checked a number of different aircrafts while flying. As for most of the other users with thi problem, I have installed FSX on Windows 7 64 bit.I also tried the following: I downloaded the UIAutomationCore.dll file from the Internet and stored it in my FSX folder which is on drive C.Unfortunately, thsi problem still persists.Does someone had the same problem and found a solution for that?Thanks very much for any help. Just a few days ago I bought the iFly737 for FSX. It flights great and all is well in that respect. I often use the preset panel states that come with the package but having a problem with them. Just wanted to ask if anyone would be willing to check something for me in their set-up, to see whether this issue only affects me. Set your aircraft to be Cold & Dark or Normal to be the default. Go to the Panel State and select "Before Engine Start" Are all your displays on? Any warnings on the Warning Display (right of Master Caution)? Is your aircraft ready for Engine Start Sequence? Very grateful for any feedback.

What is the quickest way to find out as early as possible the active runway at your destination while flying within the sim? I am using REX and FSBuild.

Hello, Guys! I've FSX Deluxe registered Edition with Windows 7 Ultimate. Now problem is that in many times, my FSX gets itself own quite after 45 minutes or 1 hour. So is it my Window problem or some thing else? Please help me here. Second is that I'm flying Boeing 747-400 and problem is that its speed doesn't increases than 321nm at 11000ft while other airplanes like 777 goes at very much high speed like 450nm etc... So How can I increase the speed of my 747? Regards, AP

Hey folks, I'm desperately searching for this "issue". I'm having a slight movement/displacement in the VC during turns (ground & air).... I don't think it's the momentum effect as I did notice a difference when I switched that off and also set all the parameter in the fsx.cfg to "0.0" and even set momentumeffect to No. Yet I'm still getting a very slight movement or better say viewpoint displacement. E.g. when I taxi on a heading of 090 and make a right turn heading 180 the "view origin" (when hitting CTRL + Space) shifts slightly to the left and sometimes also to the rear and vice versa when turning the other way. There was a thread somewhere recently where someone wanted laptop advice from simmers. And, as usual most people jump all over them for even thinking of such. Most feel you can not run FS well on any laptop. FARTHER from the truth. My aging slightly Sager NP9280 was once the world's most powerful gaming laptop with a full desktop i7 inside. It rocks. I have been trying to eliminate a strange error message each time I load FSX (new install) that says: "Scenery cfg file error invalid remote scenery path in scenery area 152". As this is a new install I only have 120 areas on my cfg file, so I can't figure where this area 152 can be to rectify it! Can anyone help me with this please? Thank you.

I see that Simmarket has the 'SYNCHRO-SOFT - 737 CLASSIC SOUNDSET FSX' on sale today, which should really be titled 'ORIGINAL' rather than 'CLASSIC' since it is supposedly a JT8D, but nomenclature aside, I'm curious to know what anyone who has it thinks of it. I watched the preview video and to be honest, it didn't sound much like a JT8D to me, but it is kind of hard to tell from the preview video since there is no exterior footage. I really would like a good 'screamer' FSX sound cone enabled JT8D set for the CS and JF 100/200 original series 737s, as the sounds on those are a bit weedy for a JT8D in my opinion. i would post in the maddog forum but it seems like activity there is very slow so ill have better luck getting a response here. my question is in regards to the fuel flow guage. how do you read it, usuall it will show 3 digits per engine, and im assuming its lbs or kgs per hour correct. so if its 371 and my units are kgs, its 371 kgs/per hour? thanks adam
