Hi Guys How do I add some power to the rudder of a plane? Is it part of the aircraft.cfg parameters or in the air file? If its the air file, what program do I need to edit that? Many thanks

Hi, I have been a long-time on-off user of several of the FS versions, but this is the first time I have really "got into" it. I am currently running FSX. I have a problem whereby I can't seem to get the hang of how to use the rudder/aileron trim. I have the rudder trim mapped to the left-right rockling of the hat switch on my X52 throttle controller. I have set it so that it does not repeat. So, one click of the switch will send a single keystroke to the sim, and I have verified this with the Saitek software. Hi all, was just browsing through ASN (Aerosoft Simulation News) and saw a new company called AWG Simulations is developing a highly detailed CRJ-100/200 for FSX. There freeware sceneries have been decent and their in-development payware sceneries look nice. Of course, CTL-E auto starts the engines, but in the wrong sequence for the VA I fly for. Is there a hot-key combination in FSX to start the engines separately? I would love to do cold and dark start-ups but my RW time commitments won't allow for that. BTW, I have googled this. Several sites mention the hot-key combination of E-2 to "select" engine #2, but when I press that combination nothing happens. I tried E-2 and then CTL-E but it starts engine #1 first. What am I missing?

Hi-posted this in hardware but no answer so thought I'd try here. I've noticed something odd about my keyboard and joystick (TM Warthog) which has always been the case, I finally decided to try and find out what's up. When I press either for whatever command, the screen will flash between what currently appears on the screen and what I want to see (ex. spot view) for a few milliseconds. It's almost like the keyboard press or joystick input sees it as multiple (repeated) commands for a few milliseconds before making the switch. For example, going from the VC down to the FMC in the PMDG Ngx (w/EZDok), this flashing is really evident. Is there a way to check exactly …

Hopefully I'm not breaking any rules here... I was playing with SceneryTech's NA landclass. It replaces some textures and the file that controls the way textures are applied to cliff and mountain faces, but before it does this, it creates backups of the FSX files. We'll ST's LC turned my Maui mountains into sandy cliffs and I uninstalled it... but I didn't do it correctly and I lost the backup files before they were restored. My copy of FSX is the one from GFWL, which means its a HUGE PIA to reinstall and I can't do a second installation to get the missing files. Would it be possible for someone to send them to me? Can anyone help to explain why i sometimes experience a drastic FPS drop when i cycles views from the VC back to the VC? for instance, ill be getting 30 fps while in vc, then ill cylce to spot, tower, wing, and when i go back to VC the fps drop to around 10. and if i press esc and esc again, the fps rise back to normal, or if i go to windowed view, then back to full view, the fps go back to normal. and the problem only occurs with VC view. i fly the leonardo md80, 737ngx and LD763, and for some reason it happens most with the 767, and then the NGX, followed by the md80. anyone else get anything like this? adam

Hi i always kept thinking what would happen if microsoft were to release SP3 for FSX . What do you think might happen for future payware. Does it increases the chance for developers to develop good payware. How will pmdg an other developers react to this . I mean they are good with SP2 for fsx they have done a incredible job with each of there payware. But if SP3 were to be release this may cause a big impact in fsx. What do you guys think ?

I recently downloaded 727 Captain by Captain Sim and everything is wrong with it! The pilot's windows are locked, none of the buttons on the overhead panel work, the autopilots and radios don't work and the elevators etc. are jammed. Can anyone help me?

Hi, I am new here. I am very experienced in FSX, landed using the ILS approach hundreds of times without any problems. However, after I added some add-on scenery using Airport Design Editor X (to fix ILS offsets), everytime I am established on the localizer (starting to descent automatically), I get a continous irritating beeping warning (is it the flap warning?), after setting flaps to full, lowering the gear and reducing airspeed to 150 knots (using the stock 747). Then when I am very close to the runway, I get a "too low terrain" warning and it hovers above the runway for a while before landing. I will probably end up with both of these anyway, but wondered if they are similar enough (in terms of real life missions) to compete with each other, and what any comparisons are in the FSX products from Real Air and Bay Tower? They both look brilliant. Right now I'm consumed with the MilViz B55 Baron, which is awesome- seems we have been blessed with some really good GA releases of late. But would love a quality GA single also. I have the RXP-GNS 530 (WAAS) bit not the 430, and would like to use it in this new product, if that helps with any recommendations. I am kindly asking for some advice regarding an issue that is driving me crazy. Feels like it is getting worse. I have absolutely crazy winds in fsx. It changes direction every second, making the aircraft bounce all over the place. I know I read about a solution to this somewhere. Do you have any idea as to how I can fix this? I've been busy with my MD-11 and started to forget about my iFly 737... well that was until the feature pack came out. I also found tons of new liveries, saw that the HUD was in the 737-800, and couldn't wait to take it for a spin. Usually my FPS was at about 14 with the MD-11 and 12 with the iFly 737. Now, my framerates stand at 6, when sitting on the ground in a cold-and-dark cockpit scenario. Any suggestions how to make my iFly 737 multi-digit FPS without uninstalling the feature pack? Those of you that have the Captain Sim 777 (the current version) know that the aircraft is currently in debug mode, since CS is still working out the kinks due to the premature release for feedback. Anyway, the debug mode causes the aircraft systems to reboot when you load it (so you can't load saved flights) and causes some other problems. Is there, by any chance, a way to turn off debugging mode, or is debug mode something CS just programmed into the T7 for the time being? Thanks, boeing247

I have been away from Flight Simulator for 5 years. Sorry for this very basic question. When in Virtual cockpit mode, I can use the hat on my flightstick to look around. What keystroke do I use to move my view looking directly forward? I think there used to be something like this in FS 2004? Thank You

Local scenery directory (Addon Scenery\SCENERY) in Area.115 not found. Click OK to continue." Hiya guys need your expertise here.. I'm in the market for my first commuter aircraft and I want to stick to a prop driven aircraft. (jets just don't do it for me). I was eyeing up the PMDG 4100 but I know for a fact I am not ready for that type of learning curve. I know my place and buying that would a complete information overload. ie: I want to learn the complexities of these aircraft at a progressive pace. So, I need some recommendations for a intermediate prop commuter.
