I am a loyalist FSX user and will possibly soon be transitioning to P3D. However, I am keen to gather unbiased views on XPX from FSX users, now that it has had some time to settle in. From the pics I have seen, it actually looks very promising in parts, and unconvincing in others - this is purely my view based on screenshots I have seen. It made me want to consider buying - but more to the point of using it as a parallel sim and was wondering what exactly the benefits and or merits would be in making that shift. I heard this was bad but who knows. I just got done reinstalling my OS and FSX and did it at default BIOS settings along with all the "major" FSX addons, the base infrastructure if you will. I am now back up to my stable 4.6Ghz and was wondering with little stuff like airports and things like with an auto installer that if it is ok to install with the OC going. Thanks

Have noticed lately video is becoming jerky (AI objects and vehicle traffic). They move smoothly about a second, stop and then start moving smoothly, and repeat process). I am sure there is another description for what I am trying to describe. What fsx.cfg or video setting affects this? Thanks

Hello! I have been running (even today) FSX with my old Drivers 295.73 in windows 7 64bits with my Nvidia 580 ngx without any problem. Today I updated drivers to final 301.42 and when I started FSX a window appeared: Invalid Hardware or Driver Detected. This graphics card does not meet minimum requirements for shader support. This product requires a geforce3/radeon8500 calls or better graphics card. Flight Simulator will now exit I have reinstalled the 295.73 again drivers. Nothing. Deleted FSX.cfg nothing, looked in google. Nothing. I am desperate. Don't know what to do. Clearly something did the new drivers because I was flying today with the old 295.73 d…

Can any one have the answer to my problem. I was moving items up in the scenery library when all scenery was lost. All that was left were the ticks. I did a FX repair and then had 4 items showing. Edwards AFB Berlin Longleat Istanbul Reno and all the ticks showing. Yet in flightsim all the scenery is showing when I fly.

As title suggests, looking for an AI program that will update/format FS2004 traffic.bgls to coincide with FSX traffic files I already have installed. Freeware/Payware/or "Tipware" (ha!), on how to "automatically" edit the flightplans to achieve this. mucho thx, Clutch

Good day , I have recently been forced to reinstall my FSX (took the advice of PCPILOT and installed it in new folder and have had no problems installing all my scenery/woai etc. When i started flying again i find that all my aircraft have a bouncing problem as follows-- the LEAR 35 AoA needle keeps moving up and down, the throttle levers move very slightly,the airspeed tapes move for and back 3 or4 units and the aircraft seems to be trying to move forward and back. This happens with all the aircraft I try and it doesnt seem to matter which airport I am at. This happens even with the aircraft are "cold and dark ". Hi, This is really a nice unit. The graphics are very will done. The GPS displays very nicely even when expanded on my 2nd monitor. Incredibly easy to operate and move around for information etc. The problem I have right now, and it is a big one, is this unit will not install into the Carenado Skymaster without major issues. There is a control panel you can use to install the gauge and when I select the Skymaster it states it cannot find a GPS in the panel.cfg. It then opens another window to help you locate it. Hey all, I am now reinstalling FSX and all ym addons and heard about REX Essentials. I already own Rex, so do I need to pay to upgrade to essentials? Also, do I need to download the whole client again or can I just update? Thanks :) Also sorry but, do I need to reinstall Overdrive over the top of essentials? Hey all, I've given up on the NGX til I can upgrade my rig - the core i5 760 is a little weak to really enjoy it. The most fun I ever had on FSX was when I belonged to a VA which tracked stats, gave me flights etc. Does anything similar exist for light aircraft only? Once I upgrade in the future I'll use the NGX again, but until then I would like to get invovled in a community. My plan is to stick with the Carenado aircraft for now as theyre easy on frames and nice to fly. Thanks :)

Recently bought this package which came with a few repaints, however after having searched here and all nodes, there doesn't seem to be many repaints available. Would appreciate any info on where to obtain more repaints, assuming there are more out there.

Hello, Some months ago I installed a shader in FSX, but I can't remember the name and how I did it. Now when FSX launches the image is very contrasted and I press Shift+F12 to turn it off. Could you help me in disable or uninstall it ? Thanks a lot, Ulisses

After flying my Lancair at KJAC I ended the flight and this is the screen I returned to. A pilot sitting in space and spinning. Weird huh? Occasionally I will get a skeletal aircraft here too....any pointers? All is OK if I quit FSX and re-launch. (I attached the file because I couldn't figure out how to create a gallery and my link to BBcode at Flickr didn't seem to work either)

Shalom and greetings all my pals, Does anybody know how to convert from CLS livery textures to Overland livery textures? I am told that some CLS Airbus models are compatible with Overland Airbuses. Which and how many Airbus models from CLS are compatible with Overland in matter of livery textures? What is the best 777 payware out there (200/300 series). I've used POSKY in the past, however, I don't like the fact that you don't get a VC, and I've heard it's difficult to get one (I tried, and failed)> Anyway, I'm looking for a really realistic 777 payware model with a good VC and FMC! (which I think POSKY doesn't offer.) Will PMDG be releasing a 777 soon? I've got their 737-8/900 NGX and 747-400X and 747-800 and they're amazing!! So that's what I'm looking for. Any stories of past experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I've completed several missions in FSX and tried completing 747 test flight but I just couldn't seem to get out of the stall at the first test. My first try was full throttle and nose down at 5 degrees, didn't work, I just fell out of the sky. Second try full throttle and nose down 5 degrees trying to bank slightly from left to right, didn't work, same with first try results. Can anyone please help? I'm eager to finish this mission....
