I find that that the ATC airport list option when I bring up my ATC window has a limited radius for the airports in relation to your position. When I fly jets and start a descent from 35,000', I want to know what runway I'm suppose to land on and I find that 32-35 miles using the ATC window and choosing from the list of airports is just not far enough from 35,000'. I did set the ATC frequency but I still don't know how to contact the ATC without bringing up the ATC window. Is there a way I can contact ATC without bringing up the ATC window and having to choose from the list of airports in the radius? Hi there. If anyone can help. I have just reloaded my entire system with win 7, FSX and Air Hauler. proble is first mission is fine however when I try to do my second mission Air hauler doesn't update the FSX flight plan, so it always starts up with my plane at the 1st departure location and the 1st flight plan loaded. I have loaded FSX with SP2. Help would be appreciated.

Does anyone know of any (free) good alternate virtual cockpit models for FSX that can be swapped with the default airliners? Most of the default aircraft have poorly made (A321) or converted (747) and I was curious if anyone has created such a file for any of the default planes. Thanks for any help!

I wanted to recreate SAM 27000's final presidential flight in FSX, but I'm not finding enough information online. Some sites say it was from San Antonio to Waco, and others say it was from Waco to San Antonio, and none of them mention which airports were used (and I can't figure it out, because San Antonio has an International Airport has an international airport and two Air Force bases, and I think Waco has at least a couple potential candidates, too). Good day! I've been using an FSX C-310Q twin (Filename "C310Q.zip") for a few months and recently located a 2D C-310Q panel (Filename "FP_310Q.zip") that replaces the Beech Baron 2D panel it came with. I have been unable to replace the Baron 2D panel with the "new" one (it has no installation instructions, so I was "best-guessing" my way through). What do I need to do to get the "new" panel installed and functioning? Your help would be most appreciated, aputech

Hi. Much help needed here please. I saw screenshots with someone using ENB series, so I thought I'd give it a shot. Downloaded it from flight sim.com and installed it through the .exe file. I also updated by GTX460 graphics drivers to the most recent. I tried to run and got an immediate error message stating my graphics card did not minimum shader requirements and fsx would not load, it just shuts down. So I decided to role back my driver to the one I was using. I still got the same message. So I decided to uninstall Enb series with the uninstall tool. I still get the same message. Hi folks, depsite trying to get help from fspx forums, not much is coming from there. Fsx is always crashing from either using the fsx drop down or right clicking for changing views, this has been going on for months, windows xp32, ive even tried the dll fix for vista to no avail, but ive been advised to use the fsx registry utility, but no instructions actually come with it, hopefully someone out there would have used it and could help. I have reinstalled fsx about 10 times, and fspx is installed only and well before utx/pmdg etc i could post a screenie if it helps, but as i get little response from fsp forum, im now seeking out other options. regards

I'm pulling my hair out over an issue... I'm trying to get the bojote SMS generator to work with MYTrafficX on vatsim (essentially have the nice new modelset display instead of the VIP models using SB4). I've been through some emails with ******* and sort of getting some help at the vatsim forums but I wonder if anyone here has used the generator with the MTX? Hi everyone. I am using Super Traffic Board for FSX with World of AI, and I noticed that STB displays arrivals/departures for non-existent FSX default AI aircraft. I do not see these aircraft within FSX. I deleted the trafficaircraft.bgl file from the scenery/world/scenery folder, but the problem is still there. Can someone help? hamoody

Have FSX and Aerosoft Beaver. Want to replace the virtual cockpit with the 2d cockpit from the FSX beaver. Anyone know how to accomplish this? Could do it under FS9. Thanks in advance.

I just thought I'd throw this out there to people who develop complex aircraft for FSX (and other platforms, I guess). A lot of people have external devices to control stuff. Lights, flaps, deicing, prop controls, autopilots. They use a button or a switch to control stuff you create on an airplane. As RealAir points out in at least one of their manuals, most accidents happen when the airplane is 'low and slow' and you don't want to mess around with a VC or bringing up a panel to do something critical so you program it into a button or a switch. Could someone give me a concise explanation of how navigraph updates provide benefit to FSX? Isn't FSX itself static? So anything that updates your addon based on the real world still has to contend with the FSX environment which is still the same old one that existed before the update. What am I missing?

Hey guys, I just started having some issues with textures. I like to fly to/from YSSY, and the textures for jetway extensions in Ray Smith's AFCAD aren't loading. They load if I use Alexander Czarnecki's instead, but if I edit and re-compile the airport they won't load. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi All, I live north of KRNO and I am looking atr the FAA aproach chart for the ILS or LOC/DME for RWY 34L at Reno Tahoe International. Yet it does not exist in FSX. The ILS for 16R is there but not 34L. Anyone know a fix for this???

So I was looking at the RealAir Duke and one of the things they mentioned on their site is... What is that? Simulated instrument add ons for add ons? Seems odd to me. If you get them, can you install them to multiple aircraft in your personal 'fleet'? What's the upside? What's the downside?

All of the hundreds of dollars should have been included in the first place. I would love if they came out with a game that included all of the must have addons in the full project. >___< But ill admit. it is an amazing simulator and hobby. The most expensive hobby. And The best in many many ways.

this error is appearing all of a sudden several times in fsx during flight. when i scroll through it it mentions stuff like simconnect and fs widgets and other add ons. Hi, We are looking for help with a modified FSX Cessna 172 virtual cockpit view. We would like to have all other virtual cockpit interior parts invisible except the propeller. Could you help us with this issue. We are even ready to offer a small financial compensation to solve this trivial issue. The flight model should be C172 but the most crucial task is to have a virtual cockpit prop that is visible when stopped and running. We are now using FS9 + modified VC cockpit with a prop only but cannot do the same trick in FSX. I recently did a fresh install of FSX on my computer, and so far have little add ons installed, those being REX Essential, Wilco Airbus Series Vol.1, FSDT GSX, Mega Scenery Las Vegas Oahu and Reno, Carenado C208 and Cargomaster Expansion, CS 757 C130, and Just Flights World Airports 3. Now no matter what airplane, or what airport I fly from within I'd say 10 min. the entire computer crashes to the point of not even having power to it. I'm running an Asus M4A88T-M motherboard, AMD Phenom II X4 3.1 GHz proccesor with all 4 cores unlocked, Asus HD5450 Silent graphics card. I've never had this problem in the past. Anyone have any idea what it might be?

Hi guys, Last night I tried to remove the button assignment for changing views in the Ezdock settings but all that happenned was that the box became red and I could not simply delete the assignment. I dont want to change the view with a joystick button at all. How do I remove the assignment without assigning a new button? I need that button for another function in the sim. Thanks

First off I've had a Microsoft force feedback for so many years and always like it so I was sad when 2 weeks before Christmas it broke. So I went down to PC World and got a CYBORG Fly 5 which I soon found out was also broke, well as long as you didn't want to go left it was ok.
