I have seen a few HD aircraft avialable, was wondering if they take alot of resources to run, will I see a hit on fps when flying them? Thanks

Good afternoon, Does anyone know if it's possible to find where an aircraft has flown by it's registration? For example if I wanted to see what EasyJet's G-EZUJ had been up to over the past few days is that at all possible? If not, does anyone know the average roster for a short haul EU pilot with either an EasyJet or BA? I'm more interested in the A-B-C-A routes rather than A-B. Many thanks, Mike

If I uncheck the "show variations" check box on the aircraft selection screen, I see that there are certain liveries that are apparently default. Are they really "default" or simply the first one in the cfg file. I want to delete a bunch of liveries for several planes but I don't want to risk deleting the "wrong" one. Can I rest assured that there is no such thing as long as I keep at least one for each type? p.s. Yes I'll back up configs and texture folders and be careful :dance:

Does anyone have experience with the 3rd patch for Wilco's CRJ? I'm slapping myself silly for even considering it but maybe it's turned into a good product?

Hello I have recently purchased EZdok and configured all my VC and external camera views for the 737NGX. When in flight I prefer to fly in full screen mode and I can cycle through my VC views with a press of a button however I cannot cycle through my external views without switching to windowed mode and starting up EzDok which pauses the sim in order to select an external view. Is there any way to cycle between all VC and external views in full screen mode? John

Hi, I was doing a little searching on this as the display for RC in FSX is so hard to read. ADVDisp came up but not sure if this will work with FSX as most of the conversations referenced FS2004. Does anyone know if this will work or is there another solution to making this window more readable? Thanks Bob

Been getting these odd blocks/shapes in the sky since I installed either ORXB CRM or Shade... they're not everywhere, and sometimes they disappear, but I see them pretty regularly. Any idea what I can do to stop them appearing?

Hello all, I've been looking into flying GA and commercial aircraft in Europe but I'm not sure on how to go about it. As I understand it, the US has free publication of VFR and IFR en route charts, along with A/FDs, sectionals, etc., but the UK and I'm assuming other countries in Europe do not. I know there are websites that give SIDs and STARs for the big airports in the UK, but which charts do pilots use for general aviation that are similar to sectionals? I have yet to find anything that look similar to U.S. sectionals, but maybe I haven't looked around enough? On the commercial side of things, which charts do pilots usually require to fly in europe? I have a problem with the Eaglesoft Citation X and I wonder if anyone here as the same issue. On starting, the plane idles at 40% and full throttle on my joystick or keyboard never gives more than 80%. I have made the changes suggested on this forum and elsewhere to the FSUIPC4.ini file as well as the citationx.ini file but still have the issue. I have posted this on the Eaglesoft support forum yesterday but no response and am currently waiting on Eaglesoft support to get back to me. Still, any input here would be appreciated.

I just picked up my copy of the Real Air Lancair Legacy yesterday. I must say this is a fantastic little plane. Sleek, simple, and it sure is fast. Great job Real Air! I personally have been interested in knowing more about the Lancair Legacy since I knew it was a kit plane. After a few loads, be it after closing the map, or after going to a new airport, or whatever, the screen will just go black, and all will be cancelled. I can end the flight, however all that happens is that the box where the aircraft spins around is no longer there. It has not only happened on one add-on. Any suggestions? Thank you! Hey guys, I need a traffic program, not only because it gets boring flying the NGX with no other 737s, but because of VATSIM I need the textures, and WoAI doesn't fix it. I've been looking into UT2 because it seems the developer actually cares about the program after it is released, unlike some developers which realease the product then never touch it again. But, will a UT3 ever come out? I'd hate to buy UT2 and 5 days later UT3 comes out. Also, does it have the new United livery? WoAI only has the separate United and Continental. Thanks!

So, I've been using Track IR for about one year. It's really great, you can really do stuff more like a pilot would do using your head instead of a HAT Switch to move your viewpoint around the cockpit. But it always felt weird to do certain things, like looking at the FMC, checking the top switches of the overhead of a B737, setting the switches for aircraft that have the Yoke in front of them, like most General Aviation airplanes do. Hi everyone, I've heard this term thrown around the forums a bit, and think I understand what it means; disabling the pausing effect on FSX when you change windows. My question is how to you disable this effect? I would like to surf the net while on a TATL flight, and not worry about FSX suddenly pausing the game and halting my progress. Any help?

Whenever changing the time and season of a flight, some strange characters appears in the "Month" field and also the calendar view below the field as shown in the attachment. It seems that they are Chinese characters since I have changed the language to Chinese before. Any one encountered this?

So after many, many years of flying FS9, I have finally made the decision to switch over to FSX. Just the fact that there are a lot more planes available as well as scenery and just to get up to date. Anyways, I know this comes up a lot on the forums but I was wondering if you guys have any tips or info on what programs to install and also what tweaks are available to update performance. Hello guys, Short and simple, there are three GA aiercraft that interest me, and I'm not suer which one to go for: - Ants Airplanes Ealget - Really sort of cute and little plane, with neat light and rain effects and beautiful visuals - Aerosoft Wilga - Interesting, old plane that could be a really nice change from the usual Western-built aircraft - A2A Piper Cub - Pricey but very realistic, with some very neat effects. I will add that price is currently a major opbstacle, which makes the Piper Cub a bit of a difficult purchase. Depending on your reactions, it might come in as a good secondpurchase when I have more money, though.

I just did a fresh reinstall with the latest installer version. At night, with the circuit breaker lighting on, this is what I see. FO side Capt side I distinctly remember the captain's side being lit up exactly like the FO side when I first got the NGX, but somewhere after one of the service packs I don't get the lighting to show up anymore. Already submitted a ticket to PMDG and they closed it saying this is how it's supposed to look. Not saying they're wrong, but just wanted to find out if I'm the only one seeing this like this or if someone has the capt side lit up as well?

I downloaded the PA 32X for fsx and I put all the files in proper folders. But not showing up that I installed any aircraft. I put the aircrafts in the simobjects/airplanes folder. Then when I open an aircraft folder it looks like this. An I have no clue what to do with these notepad files.

I got Airhauler the other day and began the process of starting a company and importing my payware aircraft which was easy except for finding fuel consumption and range stats for each type. I then started another company only to find out that all of the planes I entered into Airhauler were no longer available and had to be reentered. Did I do something wrong? Is there a workaround that will keep me from reentering all this info every time I start a new company?

Hey everyone i thought i should share with you guys a latest experience i had in FSX . I actually made a post about high FPS but fsx seem to lag a lot. What i discover was that sometime when fsx lags a lot it has nothing to do with your computer spec's , you may have one of the best computer that there is out there but if you have a payware that is not correctly installed it also can cause you these lags. I notice this because my REXE weather theme wasn't loading up its weather so i finally notice this after 5 flight flying with fsx default weather. I was like is this REXE , so when i click on my current weather i saw the weather theme said " Fair Weather" one of fsx defa…
