I'm interested in the Carenado C337 Skymaster, but I have a few questions: 1. If I have a single throttle, I assume I could use my mouse to control just the rear engine for taxing? 2. Are there any significant bugs that have not been addressed by Carenda? 3. I've noticed that some have converted the Skymaster to a turbo model. Why the conversion? Does it address any specific problems with the piston model? Thanks for your comments in advance. Gerry

Just a quick query. I just realised that the heavily modified g1000 used in the Epic Victory from Lionheart Creations doesn't show air traffic on the GPS--and there's no option for it. Given that the default g1000 system in FSX has that functionality, I can't help but think this would be easy to patch in. Does anybody know how? If any owners of this plane could tell me how to tweak it in this way, I'd appreciate it...

Just looking for some experience and opinions on these two. I am considering getting some mesh and am really trying to figure which is the better option. My concern is that I have seen a lot of people in forums and the like talk about odd airfield elevations and other oddities that put me off. The thing is this stuff is not cheap and I really don't want to fork out all that cash if I will unistall it and not use it. Also how do these function with utx and gex? Thanks in advance guys. I'm trying to follow this tutorial to add "FLAGSHIP" (pinnacle airlines) to my traffic x but it won't let me create a new modification... all of the powerful options are greyed out http://www.fsonline....EditVoicepack_X Any ideas? Somehow updating the EVP helped and now I've got flagship... but still can't add new modifications... and it's calling Compass "Compass Rose" lol

Hi guys, I have an annoyance that is bugging me. I'm seeing AI flights departing from/arriving to ramps, while planes that aren't due to departs for hours (or even days) take up gate spots. Is it possible to make it so that, when an airport enters my reality bubble, the gates are reserved for incoming flights and planes due to depart soon (subject to gate size, parking codes, etc...)? Hello, I complete a flight LSZH - LGAV, with PMDG MD-11, I use the Aerosoft Mega Airport series addons of both airports, plus the GEX Europe and PILOT'S FS Ultimate Europe. The combination of these sceneries is fantastic but with some small problems. At first, flying over water, there was a tile or a square on the sea (light blue in colour) just following the airplane. Flying over land no problem. The other problem was that flying over seashores, the shores looked perfectly curved but I noticed some thin lines on the sea connecting the land in a more generic fashion and the curved shores were inside. And last, arriving at LGAV I noticed that some buildings were transp…

Hi I have two questions First- What would you guys recommend as the (second?) best russian plane for fsx? I mean systems wise. I have the PT 154 and its fantastic. Im looking for something along those lines that works in fsx. I would like it to have a VC but if it doesnt I dont mind. Theres no IL-96, TU-204 or AN-148 with that level of system depth right? Any good AN-12? Second- Does the SD Yak-40 work in FSX? thanks Lee

Hi when ever i land with Ezdok Camera on everything seem find ontil i land the camera seem to be going out of control all over the place in the VC. Does anyone know how to reduce this effect in Ezdok Camera ?

Hey guys, I noticed that Active Sky has 'realistic up and down drafts'...something I think is sorely missing (or poorly implemented) in FSX. I remember being kicked around quite a bit by those things in the little airplanes I flew...a sudden rise of a wing...gradual gain or loss of altitude under a cloud...bumps...all that stuff. For you real world pilots using Active Sky, what do you think of it? Realistic?

So i just bought the PNW package from orbx and when i attempt to download it says its going to take 9 hours and 11 minutes ive tried 2 days in a row but a some point or another I get a connection interruption that messes the whole thing up. My question is, is there any other way or tool to download the content? Like the flight1 downloader tool for instance?

I have FSX Deluxe installed along with all my add-on scenery and payware planes. I was wondering if I purchased the Acceleration expansion pack do I need to reinstall everything from scratch or can I just load this Acceleration on top of what I already have? In the end it wouldn't be more than my time to re-install everything, but I'd like to keep from doing this if at all possible. I've done it in the past and it's a FULL DAY'S work. The other question I have is when I search on Amazon for example and locate the Acceleration expansion pack it says others who purchased this also purchased FSX GOLD. I just noticed today that I have no sound of thunder generated during a thunder/lightning storm. I was flying today during a huge thuderstorm with frequent lightning everywhere. There was the sound of rain but no lightning sound. I am using PMDG 737 with REX textures and ASE2012 for weather generation. I selected the environment slider in FSX sound menu all the way up, I turned up all the sound selections on the PMDG FMC, I selected the high quality speaker output on FSX...nothing seems to work. I checked the thunder files in FSX, they appear to be working fine. I tried different aircraft with the same result. I didn't see anyhting wrong in the fsx.cfg file either…

Without MS Word, how are people creating these (filtered) html files for FSX? The default files display normally, but when I create a new one with OpenOffice or Kompozer the files won't display. (Neither OO or Kompozer seems to have the option to save as "filtered html", which apparently is required for FSX). I can't use text files instead because the files I'm trying to create contain images.

I would like a couple of clarifications regarding the simcheck A300 airbus. This plane has three crewmembers pilot copilot and engineer. That was also the case with the dreamfleet 727 and that meant you would need to pause the sim during takeoff in order to finish all crew members tasks in a short time period. I don't wan't it so since I wan't realism. How does the simcheck A300 handle this problem with three crewmembers and only one person using the sim? In product description of limitations is stated, "INS does not have an MSU, no VOR updating or drift" What does this actually mean and how important is it? Help please, My Select Aircraft menu has the aircraft pictures out of sync with the description under the respective pictures. I have a number of downloaded aircraft and somewhere along the menu has become disrupted. How do I get it sorted out?

Hi Guys, I was just wondering what people think og the Nvidia digital vibrance. In the nvidia control panel it is set to 50% which on my screen looks wayyyy too much. Ends up washing out the colours and making it look really cartoonish. Reducing it to 35% makes it feel much more atmospheric and realistic. I was just wondering what people thought on this. Qas
