Has anyone ever been able to get the autopilot to track a heading? The altitude hold on mine captures and tracks fine but I think I have a faulty roll servos on my birds. I select a heading and hit heading hold and it will turn in the right direction then keep turning... and turning... and turning. Until it rolls near vertical and then either stalls or tries to go the other way since it overshot the heading bug. Love the plane other than that... but it's damn near unflyable in an IFR situation without at least the heading hold. I even tried pasting in the autopilot section from the default lear and it didn't help Any Ideas?

I found a possible solution to black screen that enb series is causing when opening a new window on the fsx bar or after moving it to tray. when the black screen appears press: WINDOWS BUTTON (on keyboard) -->then ESC --> and then press the fsx icon on the start bar! Using this combination i'm not having anymore issue! Let me know if it solves the problem!!

Hello guys, I've downloaded EditVoicePackX for my FSX but it doesn't give me wind speed or direction when I'm landing my aircraft. I have no idea why this is happening. I get wind information during my takeoff only. I tried to find an answer over the internet but I didn't find anything useful. My EditVoicePackX version is 4.0. By the way, how do I reset the elevator trim wheel on B737 for 0º whenever I disengage the AP ? I always disconnect the AP but I have to pause the simulation and keep clicking with my mouse on the position indicator until it reaches the position 0º. It's ######ing me off. Thanks for your help!

I've asked several times now, and on several forums, but still haven't had a response that helps. So if you've any ideas on this, I'd be mega grateful... I'm just trying to find out HOW to get smooth, slow panning in spot view for making FSX videos. Using the HAT switch on the flight controller gives a jerky response, unlike I've seen on many other videos. I don't have Track-IR but do have Ezdok, which can be used to change VC panning, but I can't see how to do this in spot view. The short YouTube example below shows what I mean....

After trying out MS Flight, I found that I really enjoyed the flying experience, but was disappointed in the limited areas and planes. I couldn't resist picking up FSX Gold and a new flight stick to fly many more planes and explore the world. In a real MD-80, the landing speed is around 130 KIAS with the nose pitched up. On my approaches, I have to be flying at 110-115 KIAS to get the nose pitched up like the real airplane. If I go 130 KIAS, I have to have the nose pointed down to keep the correct glideslope. I have tried fixing this in a one way. I decreased and tuned the cruise lift scalar in the .cfg file and that fixed the landing pitch problem. However, now to cruise at a constant altitude, I have to be WAY nose high. Any ideas of other things to change? Is there maybe an update from CLS that fixes this issue?

I have had a strange error message for quite some time and would appreciate any suggestions for clearing it. On start-up I receive the message: 1.000000000000000 is greater than 1000000000.00000000000000000000000 Clicking the "OK" clears the Error Message but then it repeats itself exactly 37 times after which FSX continues and loads and runs correctly. Other than a sore finger appears to be no harm but I certainly would like to get rid of all the clicks! Any suggestions? Thanks!

Hi All, my research on this has mostly revealed people trying to get rid of the annoying nav beep, but my problem is the opposite. My beeps have all gone, the nav beep, the overspeed beep and presumably any other warning beeps. Otherwise all sounds are fine, it’s just the beeps. Only thing I have tried so far is a reinstall without success. I would like the beeps back, i find they very helpful. Anyone got any suggestions please?

How to change RXP radios to default to 25khz increments? Everytime (since the 1.6 patch) I've had to go into the COM settings and change the way the radio tune. If I don't it's time consuming to change freqs because the range is so large... 121.50 //// 121.51 /// 121.52 etc etc Is there a value that I can set so it defaults to normal radios? ie 121.50 /// 121.52 /// 121.55

Im really not sure which one to use. Is one more popular than the other? Which one are most FSX users flying on?

Im new to this forum but I am having a critical issue with reinstalling FSX. For some reason (and I completely uninstalled FSX) everytime I try to reinstall FSX, it'll get to the halfway point, and give me an error along the lines of "ai_player.dll error". And that'll be the end of it! I've tried countless times to see what this is and to no avail have I have any success! Please help! Thanks!

Hi everybody, Please could you explain to me how I can achieve this: I have Mytraffic X 2010 and when I Install it, even on 1% it puts so much traffic in big airports it cripples my system. So I use the default FSX AI at 20% which gives me about 8-10 aircraft in my vicinity. This is ideal as it has no performance impact at all, but means that I do need to maintain awareness for aircraft and I lose the feeling of being alone in the air. Is there I way that I can an FSX basic level of aircraft, reskinned in realistic livery? I'd rather have FSX AI with its imaginary livery's than realistic FPS killing ones! - to have both would be perfect! Thanks :)

I posted this in the design forum and thought, maybe, this belongs here... So, I decided to try some Megascenery Earth. I already own MegaScenery X SoCal and have been very pleased with it. I like the framerates and the realism of the mountains and the view from 4000+ feet. The Megascenery Earth California Upper South is not to the same quality. (I still like it but I have to admit some disappointment in the quality.) The resolution also *seems* to be about half of Megascenery X. The 'Earth' collection seems to be from some dated satellite imagery and the colors are extremely saturated. The hills look blackish. By comparison, the SoCal images look very na…

Hey all, I play the sim without traffic and airport services as my sim is significantly smoother with these off. I remember hearing about some software that works at default airports and only tends to do anything whilst the aircraft is stationary, thus negating any FPS issues as all I tend to do is setup my NGX at a stand still. What I mean is, I think it may bring coaches, lifts, baggage...etc! Could somebody please remind me of the software name? I'm unsure whether it was GSX, AES, or something else! Thanks

Hello I have two problems that I could not solve them . The first problem is that I don't know how to turn on the lights on wilco panel at nights. The second problem .. before I reinstall the FSX the pushback works fine and it turns the plane to the left or right after I click Shift p + 1 or 2 but now , the plane not turn left or rights when I click shift P + 1 or 2 . The pushback works but It don't turn the plane to the left or right !! Any helps please sorry for my not good English Thanks in advance .

Hey guys, In an effort to understand the aviation charts so that I can set accurate restrictions and get a better understanding of Sids/Stars/airways and Waypoints, could anybody recommend some reading? PDF form would be perfect so that I can print it off and work through it as I tend to learn better like that than using videos! I just installed EZDok and went flying. IT has hijacked my Hat switch and I want it back. I got it back by global dsiabling the EZDok. How do I take the default settings of EZDok without it taking my Hatswitch? Manny

Right, I have UT2, I want FEDEX and UPS and Thomas Cook and a bunch of other AI not included with UT2. I go to AVSIM library, download the plans and import them into Power Pack correct? When I download AI Plans does it contain the actual AI Airplanes, if not, where do I get the Airplanes if they arnt include (FEDEX UPS) with UT2? One more thing, is there a difference between AI flight plans from FS9 and FSX, and when i do download this stuff does it have to be a certain UT2 format to work? I'm very confused....
