Does anyone know of FREEWARE for this airport? I basically just need it so my airport runways will go above my MegaScenery mesh. KPHX is also my base airport for usava and so id appreciate better scenery of it. or maybe even payware perhaps?

I just purchased last night the 747-400X/-8i aircraft from PMDG. Installed it without problems and immediately loaded a short flight from Malpensa to Frankurt. Started at the gate and requested cateriing service via GSX so I could see how it works with a 747. That´s when I discovered I could not open the doors. I´ve search the internet for solutions to the problem but failed in my quest. I do understand that one must assingn commands and the only one that works for me now is "shift + f12" to open all doors. I don´t need all of the doors to open, just certain ones that GSX utilizes. If anyone has working keyboard assignments to open the doors can you please share? …

After trying out the Simcheck A300 on my system I have this impression. The A300 has indeed somewhat better performence on my system than the LH Maddog 2010. What conclusion can be drawn from that regarding how the PMDG 737NGX will perform on my system? Will it be just slightly heavier like the difference between A300 and Maddog? Or a more significant hit on performence? One question that has come to my mind is about the HUD display in 737NGX. I understand it is very complex so if I don't use that will performce be better compared to if it is used? BTW when is it used in reallife? I have a gtx 470 2gb and have the opportunity to buy gtx 570 2.5 gb or gtx 670 2 gb. What I would like to know what advantages it will give me in FSX in relation to my hardware and my present gtx 470 2gb I know at the end of the year new features will come out in relation to new mobo and processors. But before I start in a new configuration I would like to take the opportunity to replace my gtx 470 2.0 gb in the one I mentioned. Could someone give me an expanation what I can expect? Hello people, Please check out my video below. I give up! I have tried everything on every forum ever to get rid of the screen tearing and flickering but it just wont go. Is it just a fact of fsx that there will always be a small amount of tearing or is there anything anyone knows that is a magic wand to get rid of the problem 100%. I am running FSX in DX10 preview, the reasons for which I won't go into. There are graphics problems with VFR London, and so I started searching the web for a possible solution. I can't seem to find a specific user forum for RealAir products (any pointers to the right place would be highly appreciated). I can't seem to figure out how to put the RealAir Turbine Duke's autopilot into ALT hold while allowing me to change headings with the stick. Canceling HDG mode displays ROL in the autopilot and I still can't change headings with the stick/wheel. I even tried the trick of engaging and then disengaging HDG mode (like I have to do with other planes) to go into manual roll control but this doesn't work here. (As good as the Turbine Duke is, it's documentation is terribly lacking almost to non-existent). Can some one tell we what I'm missing…

Does anyone know about any good payware scenery for Nepal? Have the Lukla X addon from Aerosoft and love the Lukla approach challenge but would like to improve the scenery for the rest of Himalaya.

First and foremost, I have posted in the support forum at aerosoft for the same issue and am awaiting a response. I figured it would be best to get as many minds in on the issue since it seems to be a LARGE issue with airbus X. The throttles don't pass reverse. I have tried deleting the files from fsx.cfg, assigning them controls as "FS Normal Axis" in FSUIPC and I just can't seem to get it to work. It is a beautiful bird that can't leave the ground. Can we put our heads together and find a proven fix for this please? Thank you.

Hi, just wanting to know if anyone is having the same problem I'm having in the new york area as far ils goes. when ever I come to final the ILS has only been working on the GPS mode and not NAV mode, now I have checked frequecys and course setting multiple times and it doesn't seem to be working correct no matter what I do. And then it only lines the plane up with the runway it doesnt lose alttitude or anything.

Hi there, I like to fly out of Archerfield (YBAF) in Queensland Australia.FS2002 had the default runway which is 28R correct. But FSX always directs me to runway 4L, which is a grass strip. No one uses 4 left in real life. I was flying out of Archer in 1969/70 and 28R was the runway we used unless we wanted to have a bit of fun on the grass.Which was very rare. Does anybody know how to change the default runway in the FSX Config or Scenery files please? Thanks in advance Franglen

I just bought a new optical drive and installed the SDK properly. I have been reading instructions and tutorials for this but am unsure of editing the dll.xml file. Here it is. My path for the SDK is c:\program files(x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X My path for FSX is e:\Flight Simulator X I would have installed the SDK to its own folder on the E drive but it sounded like it was better to install it to the default location to avoid this issue I am having of the toolbars not showing. Not only that but I never got the permissions prompt when I loaded FSX flight. So it's probably that it cant find FSX right? So here is the dll.xml. Does anyone know …

To anyone that is familiar with KORD (Chicago Ohare) airport and ops: I’m wondering if United Airlines international flights departing out of KORD depart from their domestic terminals (1 or 2), or from the International terminal (5). I assume they all arrive at Terminal 5 for customs processing. Also- what stands at Terminal 1 (Concourse B and/or C) support the B744’s, either when operating domestic flights or international departures (if the answer to the above question is “yes”). I thought it would be interesting to compare the REX Essential weather engine with ActiveSKy Evolution and FsWxLite. Below are the screenshot comparisons. The airfield is Liege where the current METAR is: EBLG 122020Z 06003KT 7000 SHRA BKN032TCU 13/11 Q1009 TEMPO 5000 TSRA Textures are all REX Essential (textures selected automatically by REX to suit the TAF). Can anyone help with a problem I have with the Deltasim DDG destroyer - when I increase the engine power the propellors rise out of the water and the boat then turns on its side. Has anyone any ideas what is wrong. Also is there a forum for Deltasim as I cannot find one. I hope somebody can help as Deltasim are on vacation till the 9th of July. Thanks in advance

8 Hours ago I purchased the "Then&Now part 3" P-51 Mustang. Did i recive any downloadlink? NO! I payed via PayPal, and they took the money from my VISA, but how long do I have to wait for the downloadlink??? (Yes, I have checked the spam filter) Is this normal? Has anyone excperienced the same thing from Warbirdsim? I am used to get the downloadlink right away when I have payed for a product. But not in this case! I have also send 3 mails to Warbirdsim asking what the problem is, and still no response/answer. Crap! P. Ståhle

Digging through my stack of games I have collected since 2001, I ran across this, it actually installed and worked was surprised, figured it was going to crash my fsx installation. Developers have come a long way since this was on the retail shelf.

Does any specific anti-virus program really help with FSX and the amount of processor power needed to run it? Simply put, since we know that FSX is processor-hungry, I'd like to know if one AV program is easier on FSX when it's running, or should we always shut down our AV programs before running FSX? I love Nod32 and it's been great when threats occur. What do you think? Stan
