Don't know if this is the right place for this, but I thought I'd try. Cannot install World of AI on a HP with win 7 with gigs mem. and FSX and get this error: "Unhandled exception has occurred in your application..." "Access to the path 'C:\Program File (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight simulator X\SimObjects\Airplanes\WoA_HTAI_C208B Grand Caravan\model.cp' is denied" Can anyone help. This occures no matter what package I try to install. I'm sure it's something simple that I'm doing wrong. Hi All, Me again - I've recently bought active sky 2012 and I'm trying to get the WX settings right for the in flight graphics - I'm using the Active sky WX and graphics. Hi everyone. Has everyone seen this thing? Seeing as this is the rendition of a type that I have flown (and thousands of others), I might just get it and repaint it in local flight school colors. So does anyone think it will be worthy of saving for a few weeks?

I'm looking for payware recommendations for aircraft for long flights, say London to Sydney that are not the 747. It must be close to the real thing aka all the systems and procedures required to fly the real bird are the same for the simulated bird. I'd also like to know of any problems with the recommendations such as installation problems/errors, problems using the product, and responsiveness and efficacy of the product support team.

I keep getting an "Out of Range" error when trying to put in the zfw on the Fokker 70 fmc. Have not been able to find any info on it. When I first installed the program this did not happen but it does now. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks, Dick Davis229

So as the title says I have a thick disc...probably about 15nm radius or so that just shows up when below 5000 feet and follows the aircraft. This is very annoying. Does anyone have a solution, or know the file name of that texture so I can remove it. Please help =)/

Hello All, Having updated my system performance is good, except for one little problem that drives me nuts: when panning in the VC (actually also spot view) the image seems to be drawn twice which especially seems to blur my cockpit. Best way to test for me: open the default flight and in the ultralight and look sideways that the red wires connected to the handle bar: when panning the wires seem to blur and go as wide as the pan movement between 2 frames. When stopping panning the wires are sharp and narrow again. Since I use TrackIr this effeft has become a nuisance as the frequent movement gives me an 'out of focus' sensation. I have been searching for Wilco airbus addons and i am lost because of the different versions. I have heard abut the wilco evolution, deluxe, standard etc...Can someone please explain to me about these different versions or point me to the right location?And please let me know about the latest version/edition of the wilco airbus addon

Hi, noticed a long time ago on a night flight over Europe that I have very bright night textures between cities and villages. For example: http://i44.tinypic.com/29m877k.jpg The fields are all very bright. I think in real life you cant see any fields on the ground which are not illuminated. Hi guys i don't know if someone ask this before in the past. But am having this problem , that when i try to replay my takeoff with passenger fsx passenger my aircraft crashes after replay is done. I know you guy might tell me why not just fly without passenger an run the replay. But to me flying a normal flight with out passenger its kind of boring to me . So i was wondering if there is any way to run the replay with out aircraft crashing into the ground after the replay is finish ? Remember this only happens to me when i have passengers on board .

Hello, I just had a minor upgrade and started to, for the first time, install FSX in my setup. I'm running i5 2500K at stock speed since my mobo doesnt support OC, not just yet. And running 9800GT 1GB + Gskill 4GB 1600 RAM. Had tens of hours reading all possible tweaks I could find in the net and avsim. Had my fsx.cfg tweaked automatically @ Bojote's. I'm using plain fsx with no addons and SP1+2 with no accel. The only addon is ASE which compatible with fs9/fsx (im a stubborn fs9er). So at EGLL I got 45-62 FPS (set unlimited) using default plane, traffic is 50%, no GA traffic and boats, vehicles and leisure boats are less than 30%, mostly 20ish. Tried in les…

In order to save space, could i cut and paste all aircraft manuals from my SSD (from the FSX folder) to my second HDD. Would it cause problem with FSX? Thanks.

Ontario, Canada - There seems to be a DNS server down somewhere. There are a number of sites which (for me) the browsers are reporting as "Unable to connect" or webpage not available" - Orbx and FSDeveloper being two of them.

Hi Ive been using shader 3 for some time and its nice but lately I experience lots of strange things around this field . Like if I try to install deferent ENB the sim wont start . If I uninstall shader 3 the fsx screen is all black there is just nothing . If I install shader 3 back again the free flight screen in fsx it is all like normall but when trying to use fswc I get error about shader HLSL_original Terrain\water20fxh . So i am a bit lost . I read somewhere to delete HLSL that fsx will rebuild new one ,but it didn't so I copied whole folder from Acronis back up as I have found that folder in FSX shaders_original was empty . However I am still getting the same error…

I was surfing around for info on another aircraft and saw this Aero Commander 560A. Woh. I'd be in line. 200kts cruise. 19,000 ft ceiling.

This is KLAS airport with my Wilco CRJ-900. I have MegaSceneryX Las Vegas here. And the runways didnt used to look like this at this airport. And when I land this plane on any runway at this airport the planes WHEELS ONLY sink under the runway amd then the plane slides on its belly. Every time I landat KLAS with this plane the plane does this crash landing. I also have recently installed MegaSceneryEarth for almost the full state of Arizona, and my KPHX runways also appear this way. But I am able to land on the KPHX runways without my wheels sinking under. Basically my CRJ-900 lands as if it has no wheels or gear. but only on the runways at KLAS. Its very co…

I installed the FSX acceleration pack today but not before it prompted me to uninstall service pack 2..is this why there are scenery glitches? (bay area filled with dirt, occasional floating buildings,etc.) Please tell me I dont need to do a complete reinstall to fix this.

Do any FSX apps require SQL Server? I noticed I had a sqlservr.exe process running and it takes up quite a bit of memory. I'd like to completely delete it if I could.

At EGNX East Midlands airport its nothing but totally overcast grey sky as far as the eye can see, well it is the hight of summer :nea: REX E report for the airport shows a sun(what the hell is that!)and clouds and that's what it shows in fsx . Around 3/8 cloud cover and blue sky's(blue sky's lol). Well REX E can only put in what is reported. Within REX E I can see no option to simply choose a weather theme e.g. "overcast" . I tried the season and moderate/servier but they seem to be around 4-5 options none seemed right. So anyone know a way of setting up a totally overcast day using REX E?
