HI all! Sorry if this has been asked before but I cannot find it anywhere. I'm looking for a file from FS-MP.com called Oshkosh Airport Scenery 2011.zip . But everytime I try to grab it I can only get through 40meg of the file before it failes. Does anyone know where I can get this file or at least one that will give me the "dots" on the runways? Hello, my FSX works like a charm without any tweaks, but lately I have a small issue that sometimes it becomes annoying. When I switch on my computer and start the FSX for the first time, everything works ok, but when I select an airplane (default or addon) from the main menu it takes around 4-5 mins to appear on the screen. Starting again FSX for the second time, without switching off my computer, then everything works normal and fast. I noticed that this happens only when I switch off and then on my computer and start FSX. I also noticed that this issue appeared after I installed PILOT'S FS Global Ultimate Europa Afrika. G'day, I've been using FSX since the the begining and have been flying all sort of aircraft and now I have purchased the PMDG 737NGX. It is a wonderful aircaft in every aspect. I love flying it however I do not have the time to go through the complex FMC setup before every flight and I also like to hand fly the plane which give me satisfaction I undrestand and admire the FMC and the procedures but I do not just want to press computer buttons and watch the plane fly itself I want to be part of the action. Finally got Essentials downloaded, but a bit hesitant to pull the trigger on uninstalling REX 2.0 after reading a few posts where some users report that it (Essentials) runs even slower than 2.0. Generally, I don't mess with REX once I have let it install it's textures, i.e., I don't change clouds or anything every time I fly. I guess I am just confused, and reading the REX forums generally leaves me more confused. Oh, and I am not someone who is comfortable with moving files and such-pretty much a lamer when it comes to that "stuff". Is Essentials that much better?

Hi all, Do you know which GA payware aircraft(s) actually has this bug fixed by masking it in their system simulation? Surely advanced and sophisticate developer like RealAir and Milviz plus may be other know how to beat this bug? It seems super silly to keep heating the carb when there is none. Thanks for replying.

I would like to know in what way this plane differs from the PMDG 737NGX. Also I have seen that there is a FS9 version of iFly 737. That leads to the question if the FSX version is a portover or native FSX? That would be important with regard to performence. Is FSX native 737NGX performing better than iFly 737? One difference I'm already aware of is that iFly is less expensive than PMDG.

Hi, I found a text file called Oblivision effect, it is a text file only (.txt) on ENB Developer website, I contacted him and he advised some changes, I managed to do the changes and the major challenge was to tweak ENB to make it work with this text file to add realism by correcting fsx colors and adding Fog plus some other gama corrections. Since my youth I have a serious loss of hearing. My hearing aid gives me a lot of help, but it has it's restrictions. Ever since I have become an fsx enthousiastic, especialy with the pmdg 737ngx, i have been looking for a way to replace the fsx atc (wat a dragon). Online atc{Vatsim}, is not an option, but also radarcontact is difficult because you still have to set squake box and other things. Fs2crew buttton edition is a copilot assistance, and not a replacement for atc. With the knowledge, that there must be more pilots with the same handicap, (we all get older), I just would wonder if a program like radarcontact could be developed with the same interface as fsx a…

I am fairly new to FSX. I have had prior versions of Flight Simulator which I think the map was better than in FSX. Also, if I remember correctly, there used to be one or several third party options that had much better maps. I use one single monitor. Any suggestions?

Ever since I installed REX Essentials my FPS have more than halved! I used to get 21FPS at the foot of the runway at Heathrow with UK2000 Heathrow, Aerosoft VFR London and the Horizon Photoscenery but now I struggle to get 9FPS! I tried removing REX but that didn't fix it. :( Any ideas? Aaron G.

I might be asking obvious questions here, but I sure would appreciate some guidance; I have FSUIPC and WideFS and use a second computer for TOPCAT and FSCOM and I really like them both. However, I would like to be able to run a FMC and GPS and some other instruments on the second networked computer (or a dedicated 3rd) as well. What do I need? Is this possible/available as a payware addon. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Tom

Hi guys i just want to share an experience i had when i first started fsx . Let me just say that i didn't had no clue or anything about aviation at that time . I didn't know none of the callouts such as V1,V2, an V3 to be more clear i didn't know nothing about aviation period. So i remember i was in this flight to miami an an when i was tying to land . The terrain alarm came up lol, when i herd the alarm said to low terrain . I thought the alarm said to low to rain . I was like what??? to low to rain but there is no clouds outside hahahaha . An when i was about to land an airbus the retard sign came up . When i first herd it i said to myself is the aircraft gone retarded…

I've downloaded and installed lots of Ray Smith's excellent AFCADs for FSX. I've found all of them to be of a very high standard, easy to install, and a vast improvement on the FSX defaults. This is particularly useful for me, because I have Flight 1's Ultimate Traffic 2, which generates lots of AI traffic, sometimes too much for the default airports.He doesn't include any contact information in his downloads, so having just downloaded and installed his latest one, for VHHH, I would just like to say a big thank you to him for ll he's doing to make FSX a much better experience.Keep it up, Ray!

Hi guys I'm not sure if this is the right section but anyway, Does anyone know if there is any scenery (preferably pay-ware) available for southwest France, more specifically Tarbes and Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrenees Airport (LFBT)? I'm planning on flying there to pick up Carenado's upcoming TBM850 when it is released and would like the scenery to look as good as possible lol! Thanks.

Hello everybody! My system specs: intel core i7 2600K @3.40GHZ Radeon HD 6870 4GB ram I have also tweaked my fsx file using vevetubos tweaking tool. I use PMDG 737 with REX weather addon and this is important: Im using the highest resolution for the game along with frametates set to unlimited. I use addon airports by aerosoft. I tried UTX and GEX but if I have them enabled with my graphics and highest resolution...i will lag :(. Anybody have this problem? because if i set my resolution to lowest i dont lag but then the aircraft looks like S***. Can I have the aircraft interieur look good while the resolution is on the lowest? please answer!!

My "Flight Deal of the Day" is selling Airport Enhancer HDX for only $9.97. Anyone familiar with this program for airport and runway textures? If it's a worthwhile program, I'd like to know how it's different or conflicting with REX textures for runways, which I use now. Look forward to any and all opinions. Stan

If memory serves me correctly, when using the 'S' Key to view the next category, I thought I could see the name of the mode in the upper right hand corner? For example, Virtual Cockpit, Spot Plane, etc. The name of the view no longer shows? Is there an easy way to get it back? Thank You

I need your support guys, I want to know which shader file (.fx) is responsible for scenery or terrain brightness ( building, mountains, ) This necessary for me as I have some tweaking for enb, results are promising, Mr. Boris ( ENB DEVELOPER) is helping me from time to time, but we need this info in order to reach the optimum visual experience.
