2 years ago I already had the same problem while shifting from an old PC to a new one. I have once again the same problem while upgrading from an old PC to a new one. I cannot find out how I solved the problem. So I need help again. I replaced my old PC with a new one. FSX is no more on the old PC (I removed the disk and installed it on the new PC after deleting the FSX folder). I first installed FSX and SDK on a seperate physical disk from the system. It requested the product key and accepted it. I can fly without problem. BUT when I installed Acceleration first everything seems to be normal, I received the installation O.K. It did not request the Acceleration Pr…

Hi before i buy this Rex Essential I want to know all the mayor improvement that was done in this ReX new Edition . Did they stop the flashing sky when the weather is updating ? Whats new ? I want to know from people who bought this product all ready an are currently checking it out . I have ReX 2.0 i want to know if is worth buying this new Rex Edition or is it just like REX 2.0 ?

Hi guys, I remember awhile back somebody was making updated AFCAD's for many of the Airport's that Southwest server, it was from the same Author too, but I can't remember his name. I want to start flying some SWA routes in the NGX and I'd like these AFCADS, do you guys know who Im talking about? O ya, and some AFCADS (updated) for Delta Domestic routes would be great too. How can the crash tolerance of a particular helicopter be increased? I ask because I was noticing that the Aerosoft Huey X seems to crash too easily. I drop from about two feet causes a crash. Now, that probably wouldn't be too great on the landing skids, but the helicopter would certainly continue to function, so this seems a tad unrealistic. Do I need to go into the cfg file? Or the AIR file? Thanks, boeing247

So in the past few days, the flight sim community has seen some outstanding releases...mainly the Milviz B-55, the AccuSim P-51D, and the new REX essential...Of course, which product should be my priority? I have the "old" REX with OverDrive, so do not see much rush in getting Essential, so it's really between the Baron and Mustang. What does everyone think?

Just purchased UT2 and read the manual, installed it etc. However it doesn't say what to set for traffic settings WITHIN FSX. Should we set them to 0 or 100? thanks

Hi everyone i want to know does it have a real flight plan for northwest airline. Like for example the real flight plan that northwest airline takes threw out the day an night time flying . I remember someone mention a web page in which you can look up all the flight plans that most airline takes threw out the day. Like for example the Depature airport an Arrival airport. If someone knows of a web page in which you can check real airliner flight plan please let me know ?

Hello, I am considering purchasing these two boxed sets of scenery because it seems like a very good deal for the amount of sceneries included. However, I am wondering if the sceneries in the boxed set are exactly the same as the ones on the imaginesim website? I had 7 of the best years of my life with the plane depicted by the Milviz B55-so I thought I'd get personal and share one of the best trips I had in her-a 5000 nm. trip across the US taking about 2.5 weeks. I have my original flight plans, picts etc. somewhere and maybe eventually I can get them together-but for a great scenic flying trip in this great plane....this was about tops. My wife, my flying partner and his wife, and all the bags we would need for 2-3 weeks all went with no problem. I posted this over at SimViation and thought I might post it here, too, in case another late adopter of either Win7 or FSX should run into this issue. I finally got around to installing Win7 with all the updates. Reinstalled FSX only to have it not start, while receiving the following error message: Win7 installs DirectX 11.0 which should, one would think, be backward compatible. And you cannot install an older version of DirectX over a newer one. The solution was to go to the Microsoft website and download their "DirectX End-User Runtime Web Installer". It scanned the DirectX libraries installed by Win7 (DirectX 11.0), then downloaded and installed the mi…

I've got FSX w/Acceleration with numerous add-ons such as: All UTX versions - fully updated FS Global 2010 mesh - fully updated All GEX versions - fully updated as well as numerous add-on aircraft & helos. I also have Megascenery Las Vegas and downloaded the following file 'VEGAS_XG' (from the below link) which is for the Megascenery Las Vegas version. Where do I put the included files? I have a folder within the root folder of FSX labled 'Las Vegas' and within it there are 2 folders and 4 files. The two folders are 'Effects & Las Vegas'. Hi Everyone, I'm here to ask advice. I have, after 12 months, been successful in re-installing FSX on its very own drive. My 3 PMDG aircraft and my A2A Duke and Piper are working flawlessly. All of this and REX 2. I have not dared, yet to install all the ORBX airports. I love them but this old system is showing its age (Q9650 Extreme @ 3ghz std, 4 ghz ram, 560ti 1024 mb vm). You need more than that to get the best out of them. Anyway, after doing all of this and flying a couple of tut's, I'm back in the FS Community (Thank God!! I hear you cry). I miss, FSNavigator. Can someone give me a quick rundown on how to get ezdok shake effects to be present on wing views (or pretty much any view not in the cockpit). Right now my NGX only shakes in the cockpit. Also, as an aside, how do you get it to allow track IR in wing views, etc. I have the box that says "disable track ir on exterior views (or whatever it says in the settings)" unchecked but still track IR doesn't work out of the cockpit.

I've recently downloaded some of the POSKY 737 models for FSX and merged them with the default VC. Everything works just fine, except the autobrakes. I can set them to full, but they don't seem to have any effect. I've already checked, if autobrakes are enabled in the aircraft.cfg, but changing the obious values doesn't seem to have any effect either. Am I missing something? Regards Flo

So today I was on approach to KLAS and everything on the flight had gone well but while lining up with the runway fsx decided to crash, I have I question about vatsim, What happens if I was talking to a controller and fsx crashes, do I have to contact vatsim I tell them what happened?
