Can I get some opinions on Ground Service addons! Thanks guys!

I know ive posted this before, but I'm hoping to get more opinions! Small airports & Big Airports!

Hello! My old computer died and ive installed fsx on my wifes computer. It has windows 7 64 and an amd hd 6770 graphics card. Its running pretty good except the font in the 2d cockpit is fuzzy. I can still read it, just not sharp like it was on my vista computer. The virtural cockpits have no problem. The ngx vc font on the displays is very sharp and clear. But when I switch to the 2d cockpit that is not the case. Any suggestions? Thanks

Is there any possibility that ATC gives you more realistic taxi instructions, i.e. just something like "***, turn right on X, hold short of Z", and the next instruction just after reaching the hold short point specified before? Following taxi instructions of default ATC at larger airports is simply impossible without the taxi guideance arrows, because it's way too difficult to memorize even a bit of what you're told. And a second question: Is it possible to make ATC say "Link" instead of "Lima India November Kilo"? I guess that one can be done with EditVoicePack, am I right? Thanks Flo

Hey So I have one of those cases with 5 internal fans plus a nice CPU fan. The inside of my computer is really really cool but the problem is it pushes the hot air into my room. My room gets quite hot after awhile. What do you guys do about this? I'm thinking of getting a small fan to put above the computer and try to push the air out the window. Any ideas? Thanks Lee

I have, on Kindle, Microsoft Flight Simulator For Pilots Real World Training, and it uses all stock FSX planes, so maybe that is best, but I also have a few addon planes, i.e., Carenado 337 , 152, 185, etc. Also a few others, which I doubt are suitable, such as the L-39, LOL. So far, my FSX flying has been 98% "roads and rivers", with the remaining 2% GPS. Really want to learn how to fly by the VOR's, NDB's, etc. Suggestions? Or just stick with stock and the Learning Center?

I am a student pilot, and a total n00b to FSX. I installed FSX, and then installed Ground Environment X, Ultimate Terrain X, and Real Environment X. My visuals now are much better than they were originally, but the roads still look terrible. They look very flat, and blurry, which makes it hard to use them as a ground reference. Also I think I have noticed a large river running where a highway should be. Is there anything I can do to improve my roads? PS, I am interesting in recreating the area around my airport, KCRQ in So Cal, as accurately as possible. Thanks for your help.

So did a clean install. I have the following installed; FTX= NRM, PFJ, CRM Deleted the milky way added high def moon added stars data file and did the swarmcloud fix which I don't think that really fixed anything. Here is my problem, night sky see for yourself. Its like a dark black band in the sky. Any help would be much appreciated...! Hope you all are doing well....!

I already have LVD767-300 for FS9 and made a quick flight yesterday. I would like to ask if the FSX version is visually enhanced over the FS9 version? What else has changed inproved? Since I as a FS9 version owner can have it for $15 I'm trying to decide if to buy it?

So Here is my problem i have the ultimate traffic 2 but it had no ai even when i followed in structions so i did a clean uninstall of it still no traffic help John has 767 captain c-130 X-periance pro pack :(

Not certain why this is happening but hope someone might be able assist. When I am flying a medium to long haul flight, my simulator goes on pause. The screen is still on but just a pause?? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. With best regards. David Bell

I recently updated my FMS and I dont understand some information. For example if my destination is KCLT (Charlotte Airport) and my designed runway is 36L, I put the runway in the FMS and then the FMS shows me the APPROACH list. I want to choose the ILS 36L but I don't know which one is... can someone please explain me which of them is the ILS 36L. I attached the FMS Approach list... Also... If I select a random approach... the FMS shows me the Approach transition page.... how do I know which one to choose? Thanks for the help :Peace:

Hi guys I need some help.. i have FSX installed and since QW Avro is out i am thinking to fire up again FS9. Will it cause any problem to being on the same HDD with FSX? The HDD is not partitioned. Thanx

Before I finally throw in the towel and pull the plug on Microsoft's FSX once and for all, I will attempt to try and find a solution herein. So, am asking for some plausible solutions. Scenario. Loaded the PMDG MD-11;loaded an FSC-created flightplan into the FMS; loaded EFB;no flight-saving or weather programs running.Took off from SAEZ in broad daylight, over 4 hours into the flight, at cruise level FL350, left aircraft flying on AP, and sound can be heard clearly. Go back to check flight progress, sound still there, but now no aircraft. Just a black screen. Tried cycling through A and S views, nothing doing. Just a black screen. Hello, Yesterday I purchased the CLS MD-81/82 and is a great aircraft. The only problem is the aircraft is causing some FPS problems. I for some reason can maintain about 45 fps in the NGX but in this aircraft I will be lucky to get 20 fps in the VC. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

On selecting a loaded flight the sim runs the loading action and then minimizes to my bottom bar. Nothing I do restores it to full screen or windowed display. Your help would be appreciated?

Ok, so I read up on this yesterday, and it could be quite good for simulation. It's not intended as a replacement of a mouse or keyboard. it demonstrates in 2 games, how it can be used, and it could have face recognition. If it will, would it make it better than TrackIR? Video demonstrating it here: It's not out until Q4 2012, so we have ages to wait, but It would be really cool, considering it's the size of a flash drive/pen drive!! What do you think about this?

Landed this plane using only Left Engine Throttle. (not on a runway or a safe speed though)

I have been trying to get the Average Frame Rate to display within FSX by making the necessary adjustment in the cfg file under locked frame rate etc. However,it just does not show up on the screen within the game.All I am seeing is the latitude,longtitude,air speed etc on line 1 and the current frame rate on line 2. I would appreciate any help advice as to where I may be going wrong-I would love to be able to crack this issue. I thank you in anticipation.

Hi all, After thoroughly searching the forum, don't think anyone has brought up this topic. So has anyone use the Simionic G1000 Simulator V1.4 on Ipad yet? If yes, kind to share your experience with me please? Is reasonable price and I am thinking getting it.

After tweaking my display settings in FSX, I have not been able to start FSX, and I get the message, "This graphics card does not meet the minimum requirement for shader support." Is there any way to adjust the display settings to default settings without starting FSX? I have not had a problem running FSX before this.

Small error in Traffic X. (1)Is it just me or do others have this small issue? "Merican" instead of "American" on the fuselage of American Airlines aircraft. (2)Haven`t checked other airports, its the AA aircraft at uk2000 Heathrow Xtreme V2 where I have noticed this. Will check other airports and report back. What is odd is that "Merican" is painted on with a capitol "M". (3)Just checked at Dallas-Ft Worth Intl (KDFW) and all AA aircraft read "Merican". Very odd.
