I love my payware planes and scenery, etc but boy I have to tell ya, I'm getting tired of constant regurgitation of the same plane so often. I would love to see a high quality CH 801 anyone up to it?

I've just installed my new GTX 670 and installed the drivers. When starting FSX a pop-up says that my hardware doesn't meet the required hardware - atleast Geforce3 (??)... Any clue? Or is my new card not compatible?? :(

Hi guys, I've been reading for a while now on these forums and decided to register now, not just for the problem I've got now, but really stay and mix in to conversations. But anyway, back to my question. I know this cloud popping issue has been adressed many times, and there also is a fix for it, I know that. I've been using the fix for a long time, and it has always worked, but now suddenly it doesn't work anymore. Hi there, After setting 2D as the default cockpit view in FSX settings/aircraft, I go into freeflight and load any FSX aircraft, the view initially loads up for a second or two into a 2D cockpit view and then automatically changes to a 3D cockpit view. I've only just noticed this because I only ever load up a flight with the PMDG 737NGX addon; which is of course primarily designed for 3D cockpit view flying. The only culprit I can think of that might be causing this anomoly is the EZdok Camera Addon. I am reluctant to uninstall this addon because it is vital for getting around the PMDG 3D cockpit. I just want to see what people's favorite old propliners and early jets are. Personally, I love the Vickers Viking. It's an amazing airplane, along with the DH.89 as my favorite small regional plane of the time. Another favorite of mine is the Avro York. It will be interesting to see what the community likes.

Hi all, I want to know if there is a CRJ-200 for FSX? I know Wilco have one but it is old, dated and has several issues with FSX. I want it to be as realistic and as complex as possible. Any suggestions welcome. :) Aaron G.

So, I like using FS Build to generate my Flight Plans for the NG, is there anyway FS Build can save it so that I can load it directly into the FMS without having to type it all in? The 744 and MD11 could do that but what about the NGX? Cheer

UTX all, GEX all, FSGlobal X. I know what each one does and how they are different in all. I guess my main question is will I notice much of a difference? I am tinking of this to mainly get rid of European farmland in the midwest US. But is it like a WOW why did I not do this a while ago kind of thing? Or just kind of a meh, it's ok kind of thing. I would also like to go to Asia and South America but just can't get myself to fly over default landclass after using UTX in North America, Canada and Alaska for so long. Thanks!

The home page is just a blank screen with SERVICE UNAVAILABLE in the upper left. The ASE user interface is still there, and weather still seems to download and generate correctly, however. Also, the HiFi website is still up but makes no mention of this issue. Weird...

I love using this addon since I belong to a virtual airline and am starting to log longer flights. FS Web Communicator is like an inflight movie of which I like to watch YouTube and Hulu. It is starting to show its age as it utilizes Internet Explorer 7, even if you have IE8 installed. I'm wondering if there is a genious out there that can update FS Web Communicator to make it use IE8 or even Firefox. I've already contacted the original developer and he has no plans for future updates, and I doubt he even still flight sims any more. Hi all, Ok this is strange....had FSX loading perfectly every time with the exprected frames rates as per normal. Bought some 2133 RAM as recommended on this forum.....Now I have to fully load FSX twice to get the normal frame rates. For example I might load Rio De Janerio and the very first time I load FSX its around like 10 FPS. I have to totally close FSX down and restart it and the Loading etc and everything else is faster and when I go to Rio for the second time I am getting my usual 25-30 frames. Go Figure.....yes the RAM has made the experience smoother but now I have to load FSX twice.... Any help here would be most appreciated, thank you folk…

Its hard to wade thru all the chaff for the wheat when asking for opinions about this flight sim or that. Understanding that ones hardware plays a big if not bigger role in just how stable a particular FS may or may not be. But, I'd like opinions about how stable FSX has been or hasn't been for you. Please be truthful. I'm curious about those who fly long haul trips, say PMDG 747 or MD11 on legs like NYC to London, or Paris to Tokyo.... those types of trips. Hey folks I was wondering if anyone had some "realistic" PMDG 737-700 vibration/ground effects settings for EZDok. Right now I am using the default ones that come with it. They seem OK but I was wondering if anyone had more realistic effect settings. My camera settings are fine, just need help tuning the ground effects. Thanks Gunn.

I got Ezdok and I have no idea how to setup the EFFECTS for it. I want the realistic physics movements when you land and the bumpyness. I just cant figure it out. Even with the manual, its just not user friendly.

Lately, the add-on "Ideal Flight" caught my attention. Normally, when flying airliners in FSX, I use my networked laptop for running Flightsim Commander and Active Sky. But for GA flying, I would like to have a "lighter" option which gets me going within a few minutes. Therefore, I took a look on Ideal Flight which seems to provide real weather, a flight plan and a complete flight setup in a short time. My understanding of it is that it starts FSX with these parameters and I am good to go. Hey everyone, I need help deciding which 737 to purchase. I have recently upgraded my PC and started flying again. 99% of my flights are low and slow over ORBX scenery, but I'm ready to change things up a bit. I know that the PMDG NGX is the most advanced and sophisticated 737 (and expensive!), but I'm not sure that my PC will be able to handle it. I'm running a 2500K at 3.3 (no overclock) / 460GTX / 8gb RAM. Flying in and out of Seattle and Portland today in the default CRJ700, I was getting 20-30 fps. Also, I'm not against learning a complex aircraft, but I don't want to spend more time dealing with systems than flying seeing as how I don't have much time to…
