I really need a GOOD FSX scenery for Chhatrapati Shivaji International airport (VABB). It is the biggest and most busy airport in all of India and nobody thought to make it? Shame... Anyway, please help me find the best looking airport scenery for VABB!

Can somebody kindly give me their views, if they have it, of how good this aircraft really is? Has it been competently modelled inside and outside. Has it got decent texturing, a workable 2D/3D VC panel, or is it a plethora of non-working switches on such a leading edge fighter aircraft? Never having owned an Iris product, I have no idea how good or not good they are and whether it is worth a purchase, as it's offered for sale at sub-$20 from $48. I do not want to make the same mistake I made with another recent purchase, least said the best. Thanks in advance fro any +ve or -ve feedbacks.

I recently upgraded my computer to an Asus P8Z68 Deluxe/Gen3 Motherboard, 2700K GPU, Mushkin 997057 Memory, and a GTX580 Video Card. I also upgraded from WinXP Pro 64 Bit to WIN7 64 Bit. I actually had more trouble installing and setting up FS9 than FSX but FS9 seems to be flying with no known problems now. With my first flights which were not too terribly long, I did not have any problem with FSX either. However, I just tried a flight from KSLC to KBOS with the PMDG 737NGX and after two hours of flight with no problems, suddenly got a Fatal Error and FSX restarted. This gets me so mad some time when i am on final approach right about when i was about to land like 500 ft from landing . ATC send me to go around an told an other aircraft to clear for landing right before ATC told me clear for landing . This is so stupid i know this can't happen in real life. I wish this FSX ATC get some upgrade so it could stop being so stupid. When ATC tells you clear for landing it is because no other aircraft are on the runway in which you are landing on . Although this pertains to a Carenado aircraft I don't think it belongs in the Carenado forum because somehow I think the issue may lie with FSUIPC. I have all of my GA aircraft set up with FSUIPC in FSX. Whenever I add a new plane I use the "default set up" in FSUIPC to control the axes. This has worked fine up to now, all of my aircraft fly with no problems and no "drift" from the axes ( unless it's related to flying conditions of course) . However, my Carenado Bonanza F33A has this continuous roll to the left of about 2-3 degrees regardless of what I do. Can anybody please shed some light on this? Am I doing something wrong in FSUIPC or is this a Bonanza issue????

I am getting into Windows movie maker. I am looking for a codec that will handle the FSX video files which have the .fsr extension. I have looked around the internet for such a codec but no luck so far. Or maybe I should just give up and try using FRAPS. I suppose I am on a fishing expedition here. Any comments will be helpful. Hi everyone am tring to compare certain aircraft landing with the PMDG 737NGX WHy?? Because i notice that when i land the 737ngx on a ILS approach it does this little flare automatically like above 100 ft or 50 right when the altitude horn is calling out Ft . It pitches up a little bit to make to aircraft land on the two back wheel first like how it have to be. But other aircraft like the captainsim 757 an 767 doesn't do that automatically on an ils approach i doesn't even matter if you have a nice speed . A new parameter in the ini file, LinkGPS=On will cause the GNS unit to "overwrite" the FSX flightplan so that other units in the panel will display the information. As an example, many glass panel gauges, like the G500 in the Carenado Malibu will show the GNS flightplan, including next waypoint name etc.. If you got a pre-release copy earlier, RXP advises to download the official release version, since several small changes were made before release.

Running a Windows 7 system and inadvertently applied the alabeo pitts win xp patch and now the aircraft has transparent textures. Whoops! Anyone with insight as to what this patch does and how to undo it? Many thanks.

Hello everyone, I downloaded the CLS 747-200/300 a few years back, and it was working great until the -300 model suddenly stopped showing up on the FSX aircraft selection menu. I'm not really sure if this is a bug that is to be fixed with a service pack or not. And no I didn't download a pirated version of the product. Any suggestions? Thanks

Finally found time to try and fly modern airliners, very enjoyable. One thing that spoils the fun to such extend that i closed down FSX in disgust not only once is that ATIS seems to have begun a business all on its own.... Roughly on four out of five flights this ATIS message of some airport in the vicinity shows up just out of the blue and keeps repeating right thru the ATC voices. I have never found anything more annoying and irritating during my whole virtual pilot career. I fly default FSX IFR Flightplans with default FSX ATC. Along with this annoying ATIS problem i also do not hear the ATC transmission to exit the runway anymore. As soon as i do exit the run…

HI Folks, I know there are so many threads on this subject but what out of these three pieces of Hardware would give better frames in FSX. I run an i7 @ 4.8ghz have Standard IDE drives Read/Write 125mb/s OS on one FSX on another dedicated. x2 560ti OC & 16gb of 1333 Ram. Any immediate thoughts to make FSX better? Love love loving my B377, but having a few issues this week. Starting to fly longer and higher now and discovering that (as expected) around FL150 that the manifold pressure drops off and it is more of a struggle to maintain a climb. My understanding is that full throttle + auto-lean mixture in combination with pushing the turbo boost higher should counteract this drop? What is strange then is that, with the Turbos and Eng station completely under my control, the Turbo boost level seems to have no effect at all on the plane. I can set it from Zero to full whack and notice no difference in Man Pressure, temps, performance or anything else. All the turbo byp…

Hi i always wanted to know what is the difference between having fsx in window vista 64 bit or window 7 ultimate 64 bit. I have notice that almost everyone runs window 7 ultimate 64 bit for fsx. An i want to know why? What are the advantage when running window 7 ultimate 64 bit , than when running window vista 64 ? I know performance is based on the CPU Processore an GPU also . But if have all that what can window ultimate 64 bit do for me ? Does it improve the graphic i bit or something . Why do most people here an all around AVSIM run Window 7 Ultimate for FSX?

Hi everyone i get good FPS but i get 2 second pauses some time when approaching miami or KLAX or any other state in the us. I don't get this for islands or nothing like that. I thought it had something to do with the scenery but this never had happen before. It just started a few days back i get good FPS but i get these little 2 second bumps in fsx. When i say bumps i mean like it pauses for 2 second or so an then continues while i get like 30 to 40 FPS .Does someone know how to fix this or why this happens ?

Hi Folks, Yep I have one airport where the AI aircraft and my aircraft are a few meteres above the runway in mid air. Doing some reading can I simply edit the altitude in an AFCAD editor to reduce all aircraft sitting elevation to the actual runway below? Or do I need to do something else also.......many thanks in advance folks

I used to have WOAI on my FSX, but I deleted it because it has no moving traffic except for like 5 planes in the entire world. I had my FSX traffic settings up all the way and still no traffic. Is there a special way to make it so I have lines of planes waiting to take off at LAX? I just want some good traffic ya know. Any help thanks.

I was having problem recently with my Captain Sim 757 & 767 . Every time i try to turn A/T on nothing happens. An none of the autopilot system was working. But everything was working before so i didn't understand why this was happening. So here is what i did to fix the problem . I install a later version of FSUIPC i had v4.60 i then install v4.70 . To me the problem was that v4.60 had some registry issue or something. Or i think it was that i upgraded from V4.50 to v4.60 when i installed the CaptainSim 757 an 767 i had FSUIPC v4.50. I just finished installing my traffic 2010 for FSX. And when I load up FSX this error message pops up: (There are multiple objects with the same title name. They must have unique title names. A300-600 MyPaint01 MyTraffic\Aircraft\A300MX) And then when I close that error mesage, the same error pops up with a diffferent aircraft. And you can literally hit close 500 times and it will go through all the my traffic aircraft which apparantly have the same title name or something. If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it very very much. Thanks. I just want some Traffic on my taxiways.

Just bought JF's Viscount. What a disaster. Regret buying it now, even if it was cheap in a sale. For starters, the VC panel is...........least said the best. All those advocating a 3D panel above a 2D panel....again, least said the best. What a joke! With my MS ForceFeedback joystick throttle fully retarded, this plane has a mind of it own and still just trundles off. And no matter where I have looked for it, the parking brake cannot be found, so I cannot park it.Anyone any ideas where this is?
