Why wont REX create a backup file? I want to use REX so bad but i cant start it until it makes a backup file. Please help me out here guys.

Hi, I just recently purchased KLAX from FSDreamTeam. The main issue I am having is the performance. I have a powerful system and this one is bringing me down into the teens. I have followed Word Not Allowed's guide already and I am wondering if anyone has any clues on how to improve my FPS.

Hi everyone i am currently having some problems with captain sim 757 an 767. These problems i never used to have them ontil i intall a payware an it came with this option telling me that all payware most used the addon manager. So i said to myself but don't have that already so i click on no , an then the option told me again are you sure you don't want to install the add on manager . So then i said what the heck lets run the addon manager. So now when i run fsx i notice it said add on the menu, an under add it said addon manager . So i notice i have two addon manager. So i was saying to myself does this cause any issue to my other payware like the PMDG or captain sim 757…

We are using all the best realistic add on that have come out for fsx such as pmdg,leonardo maddog ,fs2crew,wilco,captainsim, etc....... Ive been debating this for awhile now....Do I turn on the AI traffic or not? I finally have a rig where with Ultimate Traffic 2 it doesnt hurt to have AI on at 100 percent. But having the extra fps is nice if AI is off. Plus there is the fact that AI just seems to keep the ATC super busy and not able to keep up with my flight when time comes i need finals and such. Im seriously thinking of getting Radar Contact soon just so i can ditch the FSX ATC altogether. And yes i know of VATSIM and while that does have its advantages (and disadvantages), that particular option just doesnt sound like my cup of tea. So how do you guys fly? AI on or off? I am having trouble with my Saitek Rudder Pedals and it was suggested to me that I download FSUIPC which I really don`t know about, but will read the "Read Me" files once I extract it... My question is: Where do I install these files to...In the FSX file or is this something that runs separate for me to attempt to "Program" my Saitek Rudder Pedals, as I`ve tried everything to use them to no avail... I have set them up repeatedly and calibrated them each time but they just don`t seem to work, other thatveering one way or the other down the runway on take off or if you can manage to get into the air, the Turn Coordinator Bubble wanders all over the place without any rudde…

Hi! I already read quite a lot about the ENB series mod and I saw many screenshots that caught my attention, it really seems to add a very nice touch to FSX. I also read that it may cause a noticeable drop in performance. Since my rig is quite old now (want to upgrade to Ivy Bridge this summer) I wonder about how big this impact may be. hi after reading the obsession thread got me thinking ,,,,i tend to fly pmdg`s 737,,,due to being a member of B.A virtual,,,,but would really like to go and have a go with something smaller and slower. after reading round i think ive narrowed it down to 2,,,,,, the realair turbine duke the carenado c90b king air both look the biz has anybody any thoughts over preferance thanks

Up until recently, I've been able to make a few flights in FSX without it crashing on me. In the last 2-3 months I've had nothing but trouble with FSX and I've ran out of ideas on how to track down what is causing the errors. I primarily fly the PMDG 737NGX with SP1c installed, other addons that are currently installed are REX 2.0 + Overdrive, FSDT KLAX, and Captain Sim 757. The game will stop responding at various points during flight and sometimes when I am able to ALT-TAB out of the game, it will say "WideFS: Waiting for clients" in the titlebar of FSX... but I've never installed WideFS at all. Hello, Guys! I don't know how to taxi the plane in FSX. Suppose I've a Boeing 747-400 on the runway. I don't know how much percent of throttle should I give so that plane doesn't increase it speed and go outside of airport? How much speed it should be while taxing? 5nm, 10nm or 20nm? and suppose it's 20nm then question is that how to maintain 20nm during taxi? I always face this problem that when I press F3, then plane goes over speed and doesn't stop at its right place and goes into bushes. Please tell me the right procedure. My Aerosoft Airbus X A320 throttle doesnt work so its not really a useable plane. So If anyone could help out, I would just like to know if theres any good Airbus's out there. A320's preferably. But really I just want anything that has a nice US Airways paintjob.

Does anyone know of any 747 Classics for FSX? perhaps in development? I am surprised it's taking this long for someone to create one..

Hello all, With both aircraft that I use in FSX, the iFly 737 and the QW 757, I am experiencing a jerky behaviour at irregular intervals when taxying, but only to the right and only after landing. Before take-off this behaviour doesn’t present itself. I have repeatedly calibrated the joystick (Logitech Extreme 3D), with the Windows (7) Wizzard (through FSX) as well as with the FSUIPC calibration page (filter activated), but the issue remains. I am using Accufeel, but can’t imagine that this has anything to do with the described behaviour. Would be grateful for any thoughts as to how to eliminate these jerks. Regards, René

my new computer just arrived today and i had got everything installed and now my computer makes this ticking noise and when i enable track ir and fly around for a sec in fix it with radomly power down.... so will my monitor could this be because i have it plug in to a extison cord?

Hi all Recently all of my aircraft and all of my ils approachs seem to be incorrect. What I mean by this is that no matter what I do when landing at all sorts of different airports. I capture the ils but the plane flys to the left of centre line and the ils goes full scale right. This is not an offset issue as it happens on most if not all approaches. it happens in a variety of aircraft. i just updated my nav data via navigraph and I still have the problem i have never had this problem before and i have had this fsx install for quite some time now. Ive come across a weird problem that started out as a rare thing, but now keeps bugging me on every darn flight: I`ll be up in the skies anywhere between 5K and 10K feet in a Baron B58,Bonanza F33/V35 or C152/172/185 and so on (piston engine). As I climb to my crz alt (depending on aircraft type) the engine starts to loose momentum slowly but steadily. At the end ive got throttle and mixture at maximum and it really does not do any good, the engine is at idle.... Usually, it will help to dive down to about 3-4K feet to avoid stalls, and the engine kicks back to life. Hello, downloaded this software earlier this week but uptill now I do not get any warning message . When I start FsRaas it tells me it is connected to the flightsim ,so it seems to work but further nothing will be heard. Even landing on a taxiway did not bring it to life. Since it was downloaded more then 800 times,I wonder if there are others with the same problem. I am running FSX SP2 + FSUIPC under WIN XP. Hans.
