I'm looking for a product that can accomplish the following requirements: 1. Manage scenery and texture files and identify conflicts and have the ability to enable/disable (move files and/or update necessary config files) 2. Manage aircraft files/gauges/DLLs and identify conflicts and have the ability to enable/disable 3. Hi All: I am currently using WoAI in FSX as my source for all my AI commercial traffic but am considering UT2 or My Traffic 2013 to replace it. I have had a pet peeve with the modelling of what seems to be most of all the WoAI aircraft, in that from a distance, the three landing lights appear to be just one large blob of light that obliterates the aircraft and does not return to three separate lights until just prior to touchdown or slightly there after. There have been attempts by some to correct this by altering the "halo" bmp, but most leave other undesired effects, such as not being able to see the blue taxiways lights after a mod is applied. Hiya Folks So, the inner geek in me is interested in the BAE146 Jetliner, but, having now found 2 suppliers of it, its now a "Which one do I choose" connundrum... So far the only ones I know of are: Just Flight's BAE 146-200.. Quality Wings Ultimate 146 Collection.. So, now I found a choice, which to choose, as I have no knowledge at all with either of those developers... Unless you guys all know of more developers of the BAE146/Avro? Shame PMDG dont make one :( I'm well impressed with the 737NGX

Currently I'm trying to choose between these 2: Just Flight DC-3: Legends of Flight MAAM-Sim DC3 Or the Uiver/Flight 1 DC-2 ( No, it isn't a DC-3, but it looks good enough to be added to the list) Which one of these is the best add-on? I got a BIG problem in FsX, always when I stop by using brakes or engage the park brakes the park brakes won't disengage :nea: . This started some time ago, I've seen this both on default and addon aircraft (PMDG NGX mostly). I uninstalled FSUIPC and no change.

This may have been asked already, pleae forgive if I am repeating. Does the new OpusFSX wx program allow for usage of historical--yesterday, last week, last month, last year--weather data?? I would suspect that since their programming is based on METARs that this would seem not to be the case.

Hello.. Have seen the differents topics for my problem, I have also followed the exactly instructions..without any luck.. I use Radar contact 4.3 with Ultimate traffic2 and want to hear the right callsign. Example: Went to the RC file c4.csv and opended it with notepad. I added : JetblueAirways, JET BLUE,,0, 0 But I still hear Juliett 90, instead of jetblue 90.. Does anybody know, what I did wrong ? Chris from Denmark

Can I use historical wx data in OpusFSX?? Data from yesterday, last week, last month, last year?? Is it possible for me to start a flight in one flying session, save and exit the flight and then continue it later and still use the proper wx data??

As a user of REX/AS/EZCA combo, and pretty and very much used to it, having my G13 also highly configured with EZCA, I am using ALL of view commands via EZCA. Now, I have no problems moving some of them back to the simulator, if some requirements are met. I hope someone who is using OpusFSX can answer these, or maybe even the dev. My EZCA is configured to do following stuff: 1) over G13, I'm able to move with the small joystick around the cockpit. These are basically the arrow buttons on the keyboard, page-up and page-down buttons and I turn with the mouse. Do I need to disable turbulence effects for heavy airplanes like the PMDG 747 so they don't rock back and forth and go off course like I do in AS2012? Do I need to load a flight plan for accurate weather at departure and destination and no big wind shifts like as2012? I'm interested in this product but those are my only problems with AS2012

I'm trying to have some very nice night lighting (shooting for something similar to XPX's night lighting) so I decided to enable the night lighting in Ultimate Terrain X (UTX). The problem is that it seems like someone keeps flicking the light switch on and off to make me urinate myself (street word for urinate is censored haha). LOL Apparently, nothing can be done about it because you guessed it, FSX limitation. Is there any other addon out there that can be used for 3D like night lighting?

Is the only place to buy it from FlightSimStore? Appears to be the case, why would they limit themselves like this? <general rant> Maybe I'm getting old and grumpy but I tire of having to make signup accounts everywhere just to buy a product.

Hello. This is the first time I have ever posted on this forum. I am actully in need of some assistance. I have MS FSX. I am playing it on Windows 7 on my Macbook Pro through Bootcamp. The issue i have encountered is that when I am flying a plane (or just looking at it), the camera is very laggy and when I move the camera, the camera moves slowly. What is even more annoying is that in slew mode, the camera works fine! I am not sure what is going on, but please help! Aron

Hi, sorry if this is the wrong forum - I wasn't sure if the scenery builder forum would be better but I am not a builder, just looking to change one setting. I run the default Heathrow scenery with a freeware terminal 5 addon but I find it irritating that both runways are used for takeofff and landing whereas in real life one is used for takeoff and the other landing and then they swap round at 15:00 (I think). Is there a way of putting this into FSX? I have attached the "FILE_ID" document from the original download folder in case that helps. Thanks very much

You know I was thinking how about if PMDG takes the challenge for an Airbus series. Could they do it? Would they have the knowledge, people and skills to do it? I keep wondering . This is how Flight Sim has been (and is) on Airbus developement. PSS: came up with the Airbus series, many,many years ago and it was acceptable for that time; worthy to admire. I installed the OpusFSX demo, but it's not showing any weather. I know, sounds like a simple statement, but Id really like to get it going before I buy. However, I have a problem with Opus that I think is reflected in other weather programs Im trying. 1. Weather never changes. 2. There is no addition to "addons" menu in FSX 3. When I run the spy report, it always has only two entries: "Flight sim connected" and "Air file unknown." Opus is running on a single machine with FSX for now. I know there are addons that simulate copilots in tube liners but is there anything out there that adds interactive and audio checklists (like this)or in flight banter for GA planes?

Hi guys, I haven't got a screenshot right now, but I can make this clear: When I go into faster simulation rate inside FSX the scenery generates big "tiles" of clouds, water, terrain. I see the borders of the terrain and clouds appearing, also square boxes on the water. What is causing this? As I love a long flight, but want to speed up sometimes!! -Refresh scene does not help. -regenerate weather does not help. save continues to be corrupted with these "squares" Restart FSX does not help as well. What is causing this?? I have: REX UTX europe/USA GEX europe/USA as addons. Am flying PMDG747/737 etc.

There used to be an effect file (That I can't find anymore) for FS9 that made the red lights on the antennas brighter and daylight visible. Does anyone have this file and does it work in FSX?
