Shalom and greetings all my pals, As all of you know from many previous posts that I have been using new laptop with FSX with SP1 and SP2 since last August, so far everything has been doing well and smoothly while I try to figure out perfect settings on graphic tab of FSX. BUT since few days ago, I have been experiencing annoying hopping problem of planes. When I start FSX at any airport, any plane would hop few times like rabbit or grasshopper or kangaroo and then everything is okay. Can I do anything to stop that annoying hopping? I run FSX Acc, NGX, GEX, UTX, REXE textures, OpusFSX, EFB dataprovider and FSUIPC on my "server". On my "client" laptop i run EFB display unit and Squawkbox4. All SW are in their latest patches/versions, Opus is in beta 30.2, maybe a new one exist, 30.3? Weather is disabled in SB and in FSUIPC, and it is all works great 99.9% of the time. But, I have some periodic hickups that are bothering me, two to be specific, I am not sure if they are related but they have appeared together. During two 3+and 5+ hour VATSIM flights yesterday and today I got BUFFETING ALERT, insane wind and preasure change, A/T DISCO and so on a few times (2-3). Also, during one of thes…

I am trying to use the IRIS F15 Eagle and F35 JSF (the free versions) as AI planes, but I have one or two problems.... 1. The F15 Eagle has afterburners on at all times (even when taxiing), and there are six "lights" on the leading edge of the wings (three on each side). How can I get rid of these? They are extremely annoying. 2. The F35 JSF exhibits "sparkling lights" all around it when taxiing. This is something to do with the jet exhaust vortex (which seems to be directed downwards when on the ground). I think that this is probably an old FS effect, because I had a similar problem with the Wilco Harrier. That was solved by removing two files.... fx_RCB_Smok…

Just wanted to let the developers know I am getting a virus warning whenever I start Opus (trial version), and whenever I do a complete hard disk scan it appears. Says it is 'Trojan.Scar' inside the FSOPUS.dll file. I presume this is a false positive so I am not losing sleep over it? If so, I might suggest contacting Malwarebytes about it? Or to be more accurate, completely invisible.... I'm managing to run 100% max on all settings, 25 locked frames over the lovely ORBX oz in my little NGX, and somehow my AI (when more than a few feet away, goes all invisible. I'm not sure what I've done to upset it to make it all go and hide from me, does anyone else know? I'm using MyTraffic 5.4a for reference. Ta, James

Hi all, New here so please excuse me if any mistakes. I have installed the aerosoft catalina in fsx but when I go through systems check and try to operate the switches on the front bar they seem to move only in the upward position. However I try I cant get them to budge. Maybe I am doing something wrong....can somebody help me out please??

I downloaded an afcad file for UBBB from the library here, 2 problems. One, I cannot select to takeoff from runway 18. Second, when requesting to taxi, the atc just says "taxi to runway 16" with no progressive taxi instructions. Is there something wrong with the afcad file? It's ubbbfix.zip

Hi Folks, Just tried the P51-D for DCS World. The flight model astonished me. Compared with any other Mustang in FSX or FS9 it feels remarkably 'looser'. That is, the resistance to yaw, pitch, slips and skids around the centre of gravity of the plane is much less than in the A2A version or the WarbirdSim version for FSX. Anyone know which flight model is closer to reality? Flight model aside, the DCS Mustang is excellent, and with the cockpit shadowing and HDR lighting, even better than A2A's version in FSX. I'd like to use my iPad to emulate the FMC in the NGX. What are my options? I've seen about Air Display but it seems you can only use in windowed mode and I like to use full screen. Thanks

Hi, congratulations on a great software. I have a question about the weather update. Does it download all METARS from around the world and injects 900 km x 900 km and it injects the rest as you fly? or does it download the 900 km x 900 km area METARS and then download the rest as you fly?

I like what the program does and I am very fond of the instant loading of the METARS. The ONE issue I have been dealing with is an high altitude overcast cloud that follows my plane. I did a flight from LAX-SMF and this cloud would not go away. I tinkered with the settings and was able to somewhat get rid of a portion of the problem by turning off the cirrus clouds. I fired up FSX this morning and decided to take off from KBTV, Burlington, VT and do a little sight seeing in my Waco YMF5. When the sim opened up at Rwy 33, I was blown away by what I saw. SNOW on the ground. At my home base in Worcester, MA, the FSX seasons change right around the solstice or the 21st of the particular month. Snow covered ground, for me, isn't usually seen till around December 21st or perhaps a few days earlier when FSX goes from Fall to Winter. So, is OPUS also controlling what is actually happening regarding past weather events? Hi- I have a couple of questions regarding fiber frame time fraction...here goes. 1. If fiber frame time fraction has not been added to [MAIN], is there an invisible line of code somewhere that sets the default to .33? 2. When FFTF is enabled at whatever percentage (.1, .15, .33, etc.) does this control the loading of land and scenery or all textures including aircraft? Thanks, Mark

Just downloaded and installed the demo. All I get is this on the SPY window once FSX is loaded. GEN General process monitoring has been enabled ... SIM Connected to Simulator APP Application Link 1 Unable to Establish Connection with Server ! APP Application Link 2 Unable to Establish Connection with Server ! APP Application Link 1 Unable to Establish Connection with Server ! etc etc... What am I doing wrong? The correct FSX path is in the FSXCLIENT.EXE window.

Can anyone email me or PM me the default file for scenery/global/scenery/roof_3DA.BGL? I don't want to do a full restore from the disc when I know exactly the 1 file I need to replace. This problem comes from the fact that FranceVFR's Haute Normandie product alters some of the autogen files and does not seem to provide backups - at least not on my system although the manual says backups are made but does not specify where. Removing the product does not return my default autogen objects (trees are most noticeable). I have had people over at FSDeveloper point me to locations where backup folders are said to exist (one proved it with screenshots) but I've not seen any ap…

Flew my Turbine Duke for the first time in a while today, having neglected her of late for the somewhat heavier charms of the NGX...Was nice to see that even after flying the NGX, the Duke still stands out as a phenomenal FSX plane - a class act from nose cone to tail and my favourite FSX GA by a country mile.I just popped on to the RealAir website and there doesn't seem to be much happening there recently - anyone here know if the team have got anything new cooking?Suffice to say if they have, I will be queuing up to give them my cash...

Hi guys this is my first post here for help. (hope this is correct forum area) My problem is I have grey airplanes in Wilco 777. I have installed FSX on a fresh Win 7 64 bit set up, everything has been installed in default folders. 777_Modern_50.exe and 777_Modern_X10c.exe have been installed as per instructions. I have also download from Wilcopub.com various plane liveries and installed them.
