Hello everyone, would just like to know if anyone else has the issue of right click spots on switchs and screens stop working after a while in the air? I loose the ability to right click on switch's to operate them in PMDGNGX along with fs2crew ( whether it's related to each other I'm not sure). I can still use the click spots but only in 2D and not VC which is where I do 99% of my flying, it's bcoming a real pain and the only way to get it working again is to reload the sim and start again. I am able to open menu's with the left click but loose VC control, hope this makes sense and thanks in advance. Cheers Rod.

Wasn't sure where to put this but wanted it to reach quite a few people... I bought subscriptions to this mag several times in the past when on sale in. In Canada compared to prices in the USA it was quite a bit more expensive so the sales were great. Just a quick on the fly movie I made of Opus in action, Flying into CYQY, notice how the Overcast cloud deck does not just suddenly appear, like other weather engines, it stays the whole time, I punch through it and have 8 miles visibility just like the Metar reported, and the thick solid cloud deck remains above me. Hi All, First things first, I love Opus. I've had zero problems with the software since installing and that includes the camera portion. I thought I would bring this to people's attention and get some feedback on why wx didn't load correctly last night. I did a flight in the PMDG Jetstream from KIAD-KBGM. Weather leaving IAD was great, IMC shown correctly. On my approach to BGM weather was mostly clear till I loaded the weather manually via the drop down menu. See the approach plate below. Hello all, I 'm new to FSX and this site has benn helping much. After too weeks of tweaking and changing .cfg files, I finally been able to run FSX with beautiful graphics in a decent frame rate, without making the computer runs too hot while doing so. I'm flying around and doing Rob Machado's lessons, but there seems to be this annoying problem with the Cessna 172, that it always banks left, in a fairy high rate (something like 10 degrees of bank in less than 10 seconds). From what I could gather from other posts, there's the problems of gyro effect, p-factor, wind and payload configuration. But with everything set, the problem still occurs. And I don't have the…

I've just joined the ranks of Opus fans. I've been an ASE/2012 user for...yonks. I really couldn't see that 2012 could be bettered. Wrong! The depiction of misty, foggy, low visibility conditions immediately made FSX, for me anyway, a whole bunch more serious. This evening I did a short hop from Corvallis to Hobby, about halfway, the dense fog I took off in gave way to a lighter fog. Great. I took off and did the return journey. Wouldn't you know I ran into the heavy stuff about 10 miles out of Corvallis. Fabulous! Hi, I have encountered a strange 'bug' in the Sky Simulations DC-9. Each time I level off at 3000 at COL ready to intercept the ILS at KLGA, the engines shut down! Both of them! So I manage to get the APU started and make an emergency landing on a road somewhere in Brooklyn.... And now the engines won't start at all. Every time I make a flight with this plane, the engines shut down just before I intercept ILS, VOR/DME, or level off for an approach,...... Is anyone experiencing this issue? Has anyone seen this message yet? I just reinstalled my FSX and booted it, got this warning pop-up about 50 times having to click OK to clear it. Then installed Acceleration and the same thing happened again... Anyone else experienced this? EDIT I also just noticed... It does it every time I launch FSX

I downloaded this freeware panel a few weeks ago and finally got around to take a flight with it today. This panel has a fully working FMC for which I only have rudimentary skills and knowledge of operation. So on my flight today, I relied on the conventional autopilot to get me to my destination. However, along the way I ran into trouble using conventional wisdom to invoke both IAS and Heading settings. I intially set my target speed for 250 kts and heading of 205. I enabled the auto throttle and flight director. When I rose above 10k feet, I reset the speed setting to 320 kts. Nothing happened. Aircraft did not accelerate. Hello, Is there any chance to see the Lite version of OpusFSX with only weather engine enabled? I don't need other features, but I like how Opus renders weather. And paying the full price for only one feature is too much.

I'm interested in a good soundpack for the a330 (Using Thomas ruths). Payware or free, doesn't matter, as long as it doesn't sound like it's been recorded from the cabin. I dislike when I can hear the overbearing flap motors. Any suggestions? Cheers

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have tried searching for a solution, and I just can't find one. I use the External FPS Limiter 0.2 to limit my FPS to 30. It used to work without fail earlier, but I found that 30 was a little overkill, so I decided to change it to 25. When I open the new .bat file, the cmd window opens for one second and then closes, and FSX does not open. Hi I recently converted from REX E to Opus too see what all the fuzz was about, and I love it. But I noticed that there whas no turbulence and then I read somewhere that I would have to use the Live Camera feature to get this too work. So I did all the things in the manual, renamed the trackir files and stuff, but I can't get the DHM features to work. Please help

I had read good things about voxatc on some of these forums online. Many say it works best with the AT&T voices and other voices found in the DVD version. However, looking at the only source I could find that sells it (in UK, i'm in USA).. the USD equivalent is about $145 which is a bit steep just to add some more realistic ATC and ability to actually speak when using ATC (outside of Vatsim).. Are there any other alternatives that work as well.. I saw a note about RadarContact, but not sure on pricing on that one.. Many still seemed to prefer Voxatc though? Hello guys! I have a problem, like many others, I can't get good FPS to play FSX, I have tried all .cfg and setings that I found posted on this forum, none will work for me. I am forced to play FS2004 because it's the only sim that works for me. My computer specs are: Intel I5 2500k 4Ghz, 12Gb Ram 1333Mhz, Ati HD6870 1GB 256, 300Gb+500Gb HDD. I think that I have a good PC for FSX but my frame are 12-15fps, with payware airports and payware aircraft. It's because I'm trying to play 1920x1080, should I lower my resolution?? Over the past few weeks there has been a lot of debate about weather reproduction in FSX through either REX, Active Sky 2012 and Opus. I do not use REX (apart from the textures used with both engines), so cannot comment. But I do use Opus for low and slow and Active Sky 2012 for fast and high due to the availability of winds aloft data. Hi Guys, I know that this topic has been beaten to death, but despite my best efforts, I can't seem to find a solution. I just had to do a complete uninstall of FSX and all associated addons (and there are many) after installing Windows 8. FSX was unusable...wouldn't load at all. So, after many hours uninstalling and reinstalling, I now have the problem where each time I load up FSX I get a message from Acceleration asking me to input my product key from the inside of the box (yes, both FSX and Acceleration are legal copies). If I input the key, FSX runs beautifully. No key, then I have to hit cancel, and I get dumped back into the desktop. Does anyone know any way …

I have seen a video on youtube (some time ago) of a guy with quite a setup. One of the things I noticed was that he had his ATC on a seperate computer and screen. He even had the keys of the keyboard for that computer marked in different colors to be able to quickly interact with ATC. Do any of you know whether this is possible with the standard FSX ATC and if so how? Was this perhaps a different (ATC) product and if so, what product could that be? At the moment my FSX PC is not configured in an English language (due to other work / persons on that PC) so spoken ATC is not an option at the moment. Thanks in advance, Theo
