I think Greece is one of the more interesting places to fly, whether GA or airline. In FS9, the amount and quality of addons relating to Greece were impressive. In FSX, I'm having a hard time finding scenery and AI packages for Greece. WOI has one - Aegean Airlines. It would be great to have Olympic Airlines and the smaller regional airlines for AI. I believe I've scoured all the available sites - fruit Stand, Aardvark, WOI, etc. as well as avsim and flightsim.com. suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks! Barry, KSAN

Gents, What exactly is NavdataPro by Aerosoft? If I understand correctly does this software do the following, or am I wrong? (1) It installs the Waypoints, SIDs, STARS into every aircraft so the FMC can use it and follow the flight plan? (2) If the above case is true, this will work in most aircraft add-ons you install it? (3) If the above two points are true, this software will work forever; it doesn't expire after 12 months. (4) Aerosoft may update the software (cycles) now-and-then with real world updates on SIDs, STARS, Waypoints, etc and then you can update it with the new cycle for free?

Hello! I´ve not read of anyone having this problem so I might as well post this. My aircraft settings are the highest possible (Ultra) and antialiasing + anisotropic. My card is 8800 GTS 512 MB and it´s updated with latest drivers. But in every single default FSX plane my VC still is "blocky". This makes it impossible for me to read all the text around the cockpit so I have to constantly switch between 2D and 3D to perform tasks. Please watch the attached pics: I think it might be that my graphic card is not fully supportable? But it still is a good card for FSX so I´m really not sure... Any comments and suggestions are highly appreciable!

Hi there guys, I am desperately looking for help to get my FSX running. First of all I'm using Windows 7 64 bit with FSX Gold. I'm experiencing the following problems: - If I start a free flight, my plane is stuck and bouncing at the gate/runway, like 90% of the time. It is of course impossible to do anythig then. - Sometimes if I'm lucky and the above doesn't happen, ATC won't reply once I repeated my IFR clearance. - To add to this awesomeness, I can't save freeflights. Google Earth KML Check out the first completed final draft of my NYC traffic pack that I'll soon be releasing for Heli Traffic 2009. Not only will you have 25 helicopter routes to enable, many of which follow actual helicopter routes around the NYC airspace, but if you're not much of an eggbeater there is also aircraft traffic looping along the Hudson River Special Flight Rules Area, so you can have some company while flying past the city. It's never quiet around Manhattan and up until now it certainly has been whenever I load up the sim for some cruising around with Manhattan X. Release will be sometime next week.

I don't seem to get the camera transitions in VC (PMDG 737NGX) right. They don't move smoothly from one position to another, just like EZCA does. It starts moving nice for a small distance, then kind of jumps to the choosen new cam. I cannot figure this one out. If I can't get it right I rather stay with EZCA Ed van de Vijver

Hello ladies and gentlemen... I´m having a really annoying problem with the default ATC that I´ve googled on without results, so I hope someone here can help me out. When ATC "switch" me from different departure control towers and centers, like for instance "London center" to another, they kind of switch me back to the one I was tuned in before. And so this weird thing continues, I´m told to switch back and forth between two different centers. It mostly happens when leaving the border of a country, as England for example (London center). This happens only during flight and it´s really annoying cause I don´t understand if it´s a bug or not. I hope anyone else has experi…

Hey everyone. I just downloaded the Samdim Design An-24 for FS2004 and put it onto FSX. The aircraft in general seems OK, but I noticed something peculiar. When the wheels are not in motion, they disappear. However, they are still "Visible" by the fact that they "Cut out" all scenery behind them when viewed (I had not Idea how to put this, so I will let the sceenshots show you what I mean). When the wheels are in motion, though, they look perfectly normal. Can anyone give me some ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks! hamoody

Hi After a four month spell away and no Flt Sim I have recently tried to connect KaKARS to my FSX which is up and running. Alas two error messages: fsuipc not found on this computer or error sending message to FSUIPC. FSUIPC is certainly in program files but I can't tell if it is running. It worked when I went away but fails every time now. I have made sure that FSX is set to "run as administrator" but having right clicked on the KAKars icon I can't locate the "run as administrator command". KAKars forum states that when running with Vista both programs should be set as administrator. Any of you computor wizzes got any ideas. Be gentle on me as its a brav…

Hi folks. I was once a VERY active flightsim user and member of this forum but I've been away for a few years. I read on another AVSIM forum that basically all new development on MS Flight has been halted. Is that correct? If that is so, it seems a shame since I though a quality "cloud" version would help with the classic "stutters" and other such issues. I've seen this feature mentioned a few times but am not aware of any planes that offer it. I would like to compile a list of them here, with the help if my fellow simmers. So if you know of any, please list them. As a further inquiry, how many of us are interested in this feature? Hello, I'd consider myself a competent amateur so I may be missing something here, but here's my problem. I'm flying the RealAir Turbine Duke and deciding to add a challenge to an already difficult scenario I've created, I opted to have the left engine completely fail mid flight. Unfortunately, when it does fail at my specified time, the flaps and landing gear stop operating due to the left generator no longer working. I've tried simply starting one engine, whilst parked, and operating the flaps and nothing; unless both engines/gens are running the flaps/landing gear don't operate. Seems like an old issue but I have a lot of cloud flickering above mountains and it looks like a mess when I'm over mountains with alot of clouds.. I realize that this is not Opus's fault, but wondering if anyone has a solution.

Hi, I posted thiss problem in the Carenado forum but still have not solved it. I have the Carenado Cessna 182RG and decided to try and imprive on the engine sounds. I purchased the Arezone Cessna 182RG sound set and it makes a world of difference. No looping, very realistic, and a much better touchdown screech and roll. I checked all sound files in the Sound directory and all are there and work when clicked on. The problem is when I set flaps within the sim there is no sound at all. All other cockpit sounds work fine but not the flaps. The file is there in the directory and works fine. Any ideas?? Thanks. Tom

Hi All Title says it all really. I'm looking for a kick the tires, light the fires sort of plane. I've d/l'd the Just Flight (since it's free). Left me a bit 'meh', even when you consider that I'm happy to bash around in the CLS MD-81/82. The options I see are either CS, but I have my doubts about them and glass cockpits (again, happy to bash about in their 707 & 727) or the QW one. Am I missing any, and what opinions are out there? Hi, I've been using Bojote's external frame limiter for a long time and it works great for my system but I would like to know if I can change the locked frame rate from 30 fps to 20 fps? It,s been running at locked 30 fps but would to experiment with it at 20 fps. I can open the GUI file and change it to 20 fps but don't seem to be able to save it, it just reverts back to 30, can anyone advise, thanking you in advance. Cheers Rod.

Recently I am seeing newly laid tarmac on runways and taxways at many airports. Something I've done elsewhere must be the cause - but I can't think what. It looks most unnatural. Has anyone seen this too, and discovered what has caused it? My mostly used airports -Gatwick Xtreme and London City Xtreme - are unaffected. So far it seems to be just the defaults.

Hello, Several aircrafts that I install get listed under "Unknown". Of course, most of them like PMDG are listed under the developer name. Leonardo's Maddog always lands in the "Unknown" list. Also Lionheart's Kodiak is listed as "Unknown" by developer. Does anyone know how to tag developer names to these aircraft so they will be listed in FSX under "Leonardo" and "Lionheart"? Hi, I have been searching the net all day trying to find the correct order of the scenery libary (for UTX) - with all 4 installed (usa/europe/canada/alaska) but have been unsuccessful. I did manage to find a post somewhere saying the order should be like the first screen shot (but did not include Alaska - so still not 100% sure) I found others saying do not change the order from the installed default - but this post said otherwise. The second screen shot is of the default UTX order after install. The blue boxes are the UTX entries The Red boxes are where its been changed from default - and where im not sure its ok.
