Hi. Just a quick one....can someone please tell me how to silence the morse code beeping thingy, that sounds I believe at the middle marker or ILS when active. I did a flight from KSFO to KPDX today and the bloody thing sounded for the whole flight.....aarrgghhhhhh........ Cheers Steve

I'm looking for UK airport addons. I know of UK2000Scenery but I find EGKK to be very bulky and quite a large FPS hit just sitting on the active runway. With Uk2000 installed I get 15-30 on the ground and without it, 60-100, So, I'm looking for aternatives .

Congratulations to the team or individual on the creation of OpusFSX. I have been with ActiveSky for a good couple of years and other Wx engines before that - which I loved. But the immersion factor with the weather engine seals the deal for OpusFSX - and I haven't even looked yet at what else she has up her sleeve! First flight out of VIDP today (to EGCC) in heavy ground fog that went well beyond anything I have seem generated in FSX since 2006. Bravo Zulu! Disclaimer - I am not associated with OpusFSX and don't often hit the boards, but this piece of software is a no-brainer.

Guys, does anyone have FS2Crew NGX and FSINN on a remote computer? I currently have AES2012 and FSINN on a remote but I need my mic on my Server computer for FS2Crew, but I'd like to get her over to the Remote computer, is this possible, has anymore done this yet? CHeers

Hallo, love flightsimmers. Sorry for the Cockpti. It means Cockpit View. :rolleyes: I look to draw the virtual cockpit over my monitor setup. I have the problem when i draw the fsx in windows mode over the screens that one monitor is black. A real pilot :rolleyes: , who fly flightsimulator too, have say that only work with Dual or Triple Head to Go from Matrox. But he say, that it gives software which can do it too. But the Softth don´t woork with Flight Simulator X. Have eyerbody an idea for software solution? Some too or eyerthing? I hope for many comments. Greets Nils

Whether free or payware, products such as Shade, OpusFSX, Accu-Sim, REX, PMDG's 737, Orbx Flows, FSX DX10, SimSkyJet, etc. have truly raised the bar. Just bought RA Turbine Duke yesterday, went through the docs and flew a few dozens of T&Gs in it. I'd like to know how to properly manage the throttle and propeller at take off, particularly in a closed pattern around an airfield, that can be quite different from a normal departure to another airport. At full throttle the plane leaps above the pattern altitude in a couple of seconds, propeller pitch works/feels different. Also, I can't get used to the turbine spool-time (unless something is wrong here), it's the most inertial I've ever flown. How to properly manage and control the throttles, taking the very long spool and throttle down times? Thanks, Dirk.

Sheesh! I can't edit the heading. Bad grammar. How do I prevent FSX aircrafts from ballooning when I drop the gear? One of my pet peeves using FSX aircrafts...even the amazing Real Air twins, I am not able to follow the procedures for IFR. One of the things I do in real life IFR flyingTwins like the Piper Seneca is, I am all configured for the approach between the IAF and the FAF. When the GS is just over the center (circle) of the VOR1, I just drop the gear. I do nothing else for the most part, the Aircraft would start descending and stays on the glideslope for the most part. Hi, I installed as described, then dl'ed the beta and unzipped to the program folder. When starting the server I get limited operation. My licensefiles is residing in the original catalogue, everything is on C: drive. Should I have ran the program once before dumping the beta on it maybe? Thanks,

OK guys idk if this is the right spot to post about issues but I couldn't find one, So here I am. My issue: I just bought this comp with windows 7 64 bit and installed FSX. It handles max settings just fine and was running good when i set it up. I then ran into issues trying to get onto VATSIM and read that having the game installed in the (x86) program files wasn't a good choice so i Uninstalled FSX and re-installed it outside of that file. Then the nightmare of problems began. Long story short I did a system restore to get a fresh start and re-installed FSX in the default file. Based on the recent threads I decided to purchase OpusFSX today. I went through the Flight1 purchase process and install. Initially when I ran the FSXserver application to install as a single user PC, the mode of operation box said "Unlimited Operation". I went through the install manual thinking I did everything right. I have FSX Acceleration installed. I ran FSXserver prior to loading FSX, and it showed attempts to connect on client 1 and 2. On opening SPY, it showed a steady stream of fails on the two connections and also said "not connected". I wasn't too concerned as this was stated in the manual that these messages weren't a problem. Installed the demo and I am seeing no weather or no weather changes. Only clear skies . I did experience some snow at Skagway for about 20 seconds then "pop", all weather was gone - clear blues skies again? Tried looking at weather report - looks all the same no matter where I go. What should be set (if anything), as far as weather in the P3D screen - Custom weather button or Themes button?. Too tired to keep messing with this. Going to bed. Not a great first impression.

Flying to/from JFK photo-real scenery in PMDG 747 I get "Available Memory Too Low. Shut down FSX and change graphic or scenery settings ...etc" What memory are we talking about here ? System memory or video memory ? Is it the photo-real scenery ? I am trying some different airports to see if it is the JFK scenery, but would like to know what memory I might need to upgrade. Since my purchase of FSX seemingly eons ago, I was surprised by one thing. No matter the setting, anti aliasing just did not seem to work for me, at least when it came to aircraft. It works gloriously in FS9, not in FSX. Until this week. I purchased the RealAir Turbine Duke and was surprised to see how great anti aliasing worked on that aircraft. I read the docs closely and discovered why--the Duke's textures are mipped. I recall a long time ago reading a similar issue in FS9, where only mipped textures anti aliased correctly. So I took a recent purchase, Carenado's B200, and picked a livery with jagged edges when seen from spot view. Using DXTBMP I mipped those t…

Hi, I've just re-installed FSX on a new computer (Windows 7) and most everything is back up and running. I have a problem with the Bell 206B, I cannot get it to display propery. It almost looks like some textures are missing. Here is a screenshot. Any suggestions?

Hi all, I'm wondering if someone could provide some advice or answer a couple of questions. 1- Using WOAI, I've loaded on the main UK carriers and some core European's too as I want to fly out of UK fields and have them look realistic. Am I right in thinking that if I load (for example) Qantas, then the system is still keeping track of them even though they are halfway around the world? Is this a significant system overhead? The reason for the question is that as well as the UK fleets, I want to see AA/Delta/Qantas/Air New Zealand etc arriving and departing. If there is no overhead, then I'll get loading. My thought otherwise would be to find a suitable model…
