Hello to all. I know that the LevelD 767 is systems wise the best, but how does it compare to the CS? What is on the LevelD that isn't on the CS? Also, how graphically dated is the LevelD? Further, is there any option to change the cockpit config of either? The NGX has spoiled me :lol: . Thanks!

Hey guys. I have a question. Is there a config file for scenery that FSX builds and edits like the regular .config file that can be deleted forcing it to rebuild? Reason is that I try out freeware and other sceneries and delete them just as fast. Just want to know if there is a config for that that can be refreshed and if it is even needed to do so. Something that has kept me wondering for some time now... why havn't any developers done KMSP? I know Blueprint has, but I am looking for a way more in delpth scenery. Like FSDREAMTEAM quality? How many have actually been to KMSP? MSP is one of Delta's buiggest hubs, and was Northwest's buigest hub, and the 5th busiest airport in the world. It's a huge airport, and offers about 4,000,000 passengers a year. Anyone know of any developers looking to develop this airport? Just trying to get developers to think about it. It's a major hub to the midwest, and yet barely anybody has done the scenery.

It seems that there is yet a big problem with altitude winds (for the airliners). If this problem can't be resolved, is there a possibility of putting an option so that the user choose himself the wind in altitude where he want to fly after having consulted the map of winds at the altitude of cruise?

Hello All. I've been a longtime guest here to get tips, tricks, etc, but figured I register and see if anyone else has had issues when updating nvidia drivers. I have an ASUS G74SX laptop to run FSX on. I've had it since earlier this year after deciding to get back into flightsimming due to my frequent long hotel stays. I really have only had minor tweaking issues along the way which the search function here usually solved, but a recent nvidia driver update looks to have screwed things up. My video card is a GTX560M and I installed updated drivers earlier this week to 306.97. My previous driver was the 306.23 version. After installing it, my usual bird of choice…

Hi, I bumped into the following website yesterday and was astonished to see that we have now the equivalent of FSnav for FSX (nice design, nice interface within FSX with pop up screen...). http://fstramp.com/ I am also astonished that nobody mentionned it earlier considering the thousand of simmers that, like myself, dreamt of having Fsnav for FSX since 2006.... Greg Correction : the program, compare to FsNav, only works in windowed mode, which is a NO GO for me.... too bad.

Hi all, I'm trying to figure out the relationship between the command initalzoom in the file camera.cfg and the default flightplan camera setting. I have seen several post mentionning that adjusting the initialzoom (in camera.cfg) allow to select the zoom that we prefer for each global camera. However, when I start a flight using the flight presented by default, its the last saved zoom that appear. I also changed the pan speed command in camera.cfg and this modification work fine. It seem that the saved flight zoom always take precedence over the camera.cfg setting and this is true even if I change plane after loading the flight. So in that case, what is the p…

Need help with an FSX issue. When flying jets after about 15 seconds the aircraft starts to bounce and becomes un-controllable and eventually crashes. What I have done - reinstalled FSX in the repair mode re-calibrated controls Whats more puzzling is it does not happen with light piston aircraft. Please respond to

My FSX Free Flight defaults refuse to change. Even though I checked the "Make this the default flight" box many times, it still opens with the same aircraft, airport and date & time. I have to change each of these items manually for each free flight I make. Any ideas?

So I know this has probably been asked 100000000000000000000000000 times, but something I am doing just isn't working. I have a it-2500K OC to 4.2 Ghz, GTX 560 Ti, and 8GB of RAM. And Yet I only get about 21 fps when I load up the PMDG 737NGX with ORBX Jackson hole at night. I pretty much followed everything of Word Not Allowed's tweaking guide, have an external FPS limited to 30fps. I know there is SOMEthing else I can do to bump it up? Maybe overclock to 4.5 Ghz? Thought I would pass on a link to a utility on the web. One of the issues I have when flying complex aircraft is that the data it is using for ILS frequencies is taken from it's own database (usually the navigraph database ) and if you are landing at a default stock airport. ( for example Munich EDDM) the sim uses the data from the stock airport files ( BGL's). This means that your aircraft has selected the latest data and your ILS and is tuned to the latest frequency, but the sim is using the old frequency so as you approach and wonder why the ILS is not functioning this is the reason. The data for the default stock airports are stored in the bgl files in the scenery…

I have been using the FSX Control Tower. The radios only manually tune in odd steps. They start at 0.00 then go to 0.020, 0.050, 0.070, 0.100 and so on. I want to manually tune frequencies like 126.225 which is the ATIS frequency at OKBK. Is there a way to change them to standard 25 Khz spacing? The standard default Bendix radio tunes in 50 Khz steps. Thanks, Bob..

I see someone has moded a gps into the Beaver X, see pic. I found reference to 3 different 2D panels but I can't get it to work. Help please. Does anyone have a link or info how to get this to work on the Beaver X?

Hi I write this because I got tired of AS2012 or REX did not give me what is out there in real life. Until now! I got OpusFSX. It just loads the NOA METARS as they are without any stupid interpolation over big areas. Just loads several METAR stations over a large area 990 x 990 km in one blink. No stutter or anything, one frame and it is loaded and ready. METAR is gospel to them. Forbidden to tamper with, what METAR says goes directly into FSX. For the first time I have had weather at DEP and DEST exactly what weather reports are saying. Also see weather fronts/cloud areas come and go as they do in real life. Hey, just bought Opus with good expectations. But now when i have it set up for live weather, i start fsx server and it loads. In P3D i cannot open the menus, i can click them and nothing happens. it shows up in the spy that I clicked it, but menus are missing and i dont get any weather.. Anyone with any good ideas? Tommy

Hi Stephen, Just purchased your great new product and have to say very impressed with the weather depiction. Well done! Therein lies the problem however.... All installed as per manual etc and using FEX 1024 clouds. At Heathrow earlier I was getting frames in single figures - I guess due to the amount of cloud cover etc. The question is - is there a way to greatly improve the frame rates without detracting from the full "glory" of you program? Hi, I just installed the demo of OpusFSX with only the weather option active. A/C position EDDM, metar was very correct (wind, qnh, overcast, rain), but there was no rain around the aircraft. When going into towerview you could see the rain. I then loaded AS2012 to make sure there is nothing wrong with the simulator and everything was there as it should be. Peter
