help i get black squares in random spots at flytampa's TNCM and it is very disturbing! can someone tell me how to fix it?!

Can anyone create a good soundset for the Embraer ERJ Series because I want to hear sounds exactly like the real aircraft? Thank you.

Hey, quick question. I'm thinking of getting the Virtavia Chinook, but there aren't any truly thorough reviews on it, and I've been searching for some information on the complexity of the VC. Does anybody know how functional everything in the VC is? It seems like most of the systems are fully functional, but in the screenshots, there appear to be quite a few blank screens on the center pedestal (I can't really tell what they are, but it looks like some navigation units--the pictures are a little blurry). Or is there a manual somewhere that would describe what is and isn't functional? Thanks, boeing247

Hi In the past, photoreal scenery is something I'd never really considered, having been content with adding mesh and UT/GE etc. Now the more I look at people's screenshots where photoreal scenery is being used, the more jealous I get! I mainly fly airliners on short European hops of 3hr or less. Obviously VFR flyers will get more out of it but presumably it still greatly enhances the visuals for IFR fliers too? How does such scenery interact with UT/GE etc? Does it just replace any enhancements that these products make in the affected region? Also how about where an add on airport has photo scenery included? Does it blend in well with this or do you get …

I hope this is in the right place. I recall seeing (not sure if it was Avsim) of a switch/gauge for the RTO switch in the vc cockpit for the default 737 that will allow you to see the switch move when you increase/decrease the setting. Not crazy about having to switch to the 2d panel to confirm that it did. Does anyone recall seeing it or have it, and if so, please let me know...Thanks......I have the Project Opensky Boeing 737-800w Tuifly (Bären Marke-cs) for Microsoft Flight Simulator X that does just that. I spend a lot of time just checking out certain forums,and I'm silent most of the time, until I see something that really,really catches my attention. But when I go to the forums,especially one forum which I will not mention, I see guys who praise products that are very note worthy, but the level these guy go to bashing other products is just cruel in this man's opinion, I am the first one to give credit where credit is do, and when I see a great product I will praise it. I've decided that it is finally time to step up from the 172 to the 182Q. Having never flown, in real or virutally a constant speed prop I'm a bit confused. Does anyone have a chart of the suggested manifold pressure/rpm settings for the various stages of flight? I realize that it may not be 100% applicable to the Carenado 182Q, but close enough is okay to start. Also, a link to a really good tutorial on the relationship between manifold pressure and RPM and when to change which would be helpful. I've found a few on the Internet, but nothing that has cleared it up for me yet. Thanks, Ernie

Hey guys, My friend, who is an aspiring musicia...er...he makes dubstep.. :Rolling Eyes: ..has requested me to record some acrobatics within FSX, and then send him the video so he can match it with a song he (presumably) mixed himself. Now, I know its possible, and I have FRAPS installed(but not used) on my computer, but I can never get a nice video recorded, as FRAPS suffers from some serious stutters for me.. Now my question is, are there any easier to use, smoother options? smoothness is the priority here Thanks!

Whenever I try to open FTX Central, the icon pins itself to the lower taskbar and I cannot open the window. Whether I select 'pin to takbar' or 'unpin from taskbar' nothing changes. Anyone seen this before? Any suggestions? Many thanks eric

Gents, This is not so much an announcement, as it is an extended offer. Many folks seem to stay clear of voice-comms and the overall multiplayer experience within FSX. And each of their own reasons, which are respected. However, if you are simply not sure of the multiplayer environment, or maybe you haven't 'clicked' well into that avenue of the sim, I would like to encourage you to re-consider getting involved. Hi All I've just switched over to FSX from FS9 and am pleased that I can at least run the software at a reasonable level on my rig, i.e. it doesn't just stutter and die! I've installed all of my UK2000 scenery which I can tell has hit the FPS. The FPS are currently not what I would like so I'm looking for a little help from those more in the know about these things! Basically to test things I've been just doing a departure from the UK2000 EGGD in the default A321 (don't want to spend money on payware aircraft until I'm happy that I'm going to be able to run it satisfactorily!) I've noticed that the forums have been very quiet on the 'Ariane front' recently and although their web site is still there, there's been no news added to it for well over a year. Have they finally given up, having been beaten by the seemingly unsurmountable popularity and success of the PMDG 737 series? I have never had issues with UT2 until today when it didn't load with FSX. I shut down FSX and open the UT2 software and was faced with the error as follows " Program Error Error loading aircraft assignments. Invalid Argument=value of '0' is not valid for 'SelectedIndex'. Parameter name; Selectedindex" I have made absolutely no changes to my PC ( either to FSX or otherwise ) in recent times. In fact I have automatic updates switched off at the moment. I have done a search in this forum and although I have seen issues with assignments I haven't come across a thread with this particular error. Hi, I just bought UTX, GEX and SceneryTech Landclass USA. I really love the combination. Cities truly come to life and look much more accurate than default. Now, I am wondering if I should add FSGenesis Mesh. I made a topic a few weeks ago discussing this and now I am debating if mesh is really worth it. Any help appreciated. Thanks,

What I'm looking for is a tool for place, edit and save cameras in any point of the map. Tried "EZdok walk camera" (not sure if it's the right name) but didn't work and it seems to lack of documentation. Any alternative you guys can suggest me? Thanks for any input.

Hi all, I'm keen to look at installing some add on airports however have always been nervous about the performance hit. I am doing alot of flying through the USA, up into Canada and also South into Mexico and South America. Do any of you recommend some good airports that in your opinion haven't had an adverse affect on performance? Also happy to explore the European options as well. I am doing the majority of my flights in the PMDG 737NG and some GA stuff in the Turbine Duke. Jas

Hallo. I have reinstall FXS on my new computer. After that i have install PMDG 737 NGX my flying stops after ca ten minutes. After 5-10 minutes FSX start again and I can flyg till my destination. Up on the window I can see: Flight Simulator ( dont answer). I have same problem with my older computer. Can any help me? Kjell
