Hi all, With all the aliases correctly set by the Installer and Alan Constable's AI Traffic Sounds installed in the correct folder I'm not getting the new AI sounds. I have fsx installed to C:\FSX and use Win 7 64 with AUC set to OFF (i.e. allow everything). Anyone using Alan's AI Traffic sounds successfully in UT2 with a c:\FSX installation (i.e. non-default)? Any feedback appreciated.

I'm having some api.dll issues and am wondering which is the best version of the UIAutomationCore.dll to use. I'm currently using 6.0.5840.16386. Is there a "better" one out there? Thanks.

Finally purchased this afternoon. I can access all the static weather themes fine but I am not sure if the live weather is working. It looks nothing like the cloudy weather here today. Is there an idiots way to check that it is working ? I have checked the live weather button on the interface. Thanks Paul

Hi all, Im just wondering what would the advantage be from importing a flight plan into AS2012 before flying rather than just loading AS2012 and let it inject weather as you fly? Will it load all the wx for the stations along your route or is it still the same as just loading it and thats it? thank you!

Hi Was just wondering if there is anything out there that explains what each line of the fsx.config line actually does? I've been advised that in my cfg file the line in the [main] part for procspeed=10390 is low. I'm guessing that this has something to do with the processor speed but not sure. I have an i7 2700k overclocked to 4.7ghz What would happen if I adjusted this up ? and is there a scale many thanks

I'm pretty close to getting this, mostly for the weather, but I wouldn't mind replacing EZDOK with a less buggy interface (still crashes my system sometimes). So I have a question about Live Camera. In EZDOK, one of the things I love the most is that I can set up a default Pilot camera for the VC where my eye viewpoint is right where it should be for each aircraft (centered in the seat at the right height and distance from the panel). This is saved for each aircraft so I don't have to select it or modify it each time I switch aircraft. Can Live Camera do the same thing easily?

Just been playing the demo version, this screenshot makes it compelling to buy.... I get this error message when using the spy mode, I have followed the installing instructions, can anyone please advise ?

Hey guys, I am having a issue with frame rates... I recently installed trafficX with the civil and military addon. The best frame rates at major airports i can get is about 10fps.... I am running a powerful system... AMD FX-8150 8 core cpu, on an Asus Sabertooth 990fx motherboard with 32 GB ram, and an EVGA 550FX 2gb videocard. and WIN7 Ultimate 64Bit Is trafficX really that demanding on hardware? Any suggestions on anything? maybe replace TrafficX with a different AI addon?

Hello fellow simmers, a few weeks ago we discussed about a conversion tool which is searching for some kind of textures of FSX addons and converted them to a better (more fluid) format. I have forgot the name and I haven't found it with searching. I do not mean a tool for reducing size. This tool I mean scans for (faulty?) BMP and converts it into DXT (or whatever I do not know exactly what it was) Hope you have an idea what I mean. Many thanks! Günter

FS2004 is more than 9 years old and FSX was released 6 years ago. Just to put it into perspective, the Playstation 3 was released in 2006 and the iPhone was released in 2007. Although the PS3 has not changed (well kinda), the games for it definitely have. Just compare Fifa 2006 with Fifa 2013..or better yet, Fifa 2004 with the new one that just came out. As some of you know, if you want a TIR5 alternative , there are two choices: Freetrack and Facetracknoir(FTNOIR). Freetrack works just like TIR5, with a IR led clip, but it appears that the developers have abandoned further development and for some people it crashes or it behaves erratically. You know how there are toy cars that are just a solid car, then there are toy cars where you can open all the doors, change the wheels/tires, disassemble some engine parts or take out the spare with jack. I'm wondering what addon plane has the most 'stuff' to tinker with on it, and I'm not just referring to a VC with tons of buttons and levers to operate. I would include things like an extremely well done interactive Kneeboard checklist or ability to walk into and through the plane. Or perform functions with the plane like drop cargo or scoop up water from a lake.

Hey guys, I have been playing around setting up some CAT II and CAT III approaches with the weather requirements to go with and I have been noticing that the sky looks god awful in those situations. Anytime the visibility is set to say anything less then 1 mile or so this happens. Also as soon as I Climb/Descend out of the layer the sky textures return to what they should look like normally. I have included two photos to show, one in the viz and with the problem showing, second, showing immediately out of the layer and sky returning to correct color. I know this is a bit subjective but what is the best traffic out there I currently use traffic x from just flight but as its a bit old now I wonder if there is anything better out there now, I'm looking for mainly airline stuff using lhr,lgw,jfk

Hi Stephen, I was going to post this on the F1 forum, but when I changed my e mail address in member control panel, it sends an activation e-mail which I never received, so I cannot post. In the topic by Edward tilted "Views" he shows a screenshot of a skeleton NGX, the possible explanation for that, is before removing EZCA or even disabling EZCA to test Cameras in Opus, the EZCA configuration utility must be run and the "Restore" function selected to restore all camera views to FSX default. otherwise EZCA camera definitions are not removed in the aircraft config. Hi all.... just thinking out loud a bit. I fly pretty much exclusively in Europe at the moment - it started with GEX and then UTX and then a number of payware airports and mesh. So it's a nice and reasonably realistic experience, but I'm a little bored and wondering what to do. Despite having plenty of European stuff there is still loads more I could get - I like photoscenery so things like FranceVFR, GermanyVFR appeal. Then there's Austria and Switzerland professional and I still haven't got round to getting the freeware Belgium and Netherlands photoscenery. Plus countless other airports, freeware and payware. Well I have been trying for 3 months to find tweaks that will work for my Flight Simulator X with SP1 installed, if anyone can recommend some tweaks that will work for me please give them to me please. Most of the other tweaks that I use only slow my FSX down so much more. So when you add a new aircraft, and under the aircraft setup- the first thing says Registration and theres a pink box. am I suppose to put something here or just type anything?

ENB Series in FSX Acceleration-WIN7 64 Bit I downloaded and installed the enbseriesfsxfs9.zip program to my FSX Acceleration. I am running WIN7, 64 bit. It installed the following into FSX; d3d9.dll d3dx9_40.dll d3dx9_26.dll enbseries.ini I can open FSX OK full screen and get the blue message about the program being installed in the top left of the aircraft viewing window that first appears. Then it turns to red with some other text and finally disappears. When I use Shift-F12 FSX crashes.
