Hi Everyone, Got a question. I may have accidentally deleted or overwritten a file in the FSX folder.Im really unsure while fie it is. My Superbug and my PMDG 737 (HGS) for now (yet to check others) doesn't seem to work. If i reinstall or repair the installaition, will i loose all my addons and all my settings? You advise is most appreciated. Regards

Hello! I am thinking of picking up the Flight 1 MD-80. Is there a 3D upgrade for the VC. The stock aircraft has a very flat VC which bugs me a lot. It is a shame as it otherwise looks great. But I won't buy it unless there is a 3D upgrade, the stock VC looks like some horrible freeware someone spent 2 seonds on.

Hello Just wondering if anyone has tried to download Rex Essential $39.95 from Flightsim Store ( AU) and how they have made out. I tried downloading using Free Download Manager and got 8 error messages, would not unzipp completely....85% and stopped. I remove the downloader and used the Internet Explorer 9 downloader and it has stopped twice saying download complete but it was only partly downloaded. I'm from Canada and to ship it is too much...more than the product itself. They have a policy of no refunds for any downloads. I have sent them an email and waiting for a response. Hi, are there complete ai packs for latin america and asia? I'm not talking about global packs like WOAI but packs which concentrate on a region? i found a pack called AI Mello, but that seems to be only for brazil?

Hello I have a yea problem more or less it is more anoying than a problem. All my AI aircraft's have the Airline Callsign Lufthansa I mean it doesn't hurts the game but I fly with FSPassanger and I created a Airline with the name Lufthansa so now everytime I fly a Plane with the Livery Lufthansa I get confused because all the other aircraft's are also called Lufthansa by ATC for an example My callsign is Lufthansa123 so no problem there i can change that to my likings but every single AI plane uses Lufthansa too for example Lufthansa421 or something like that. Hi all, Just downloaded facknoir v1.60 after buying a new webcam today. Facetracknoir sees the camera as it is listed when I launch it, but the video widget window is not showing anything as well as all of the raw input numbers do nothing other than stay at zero. and the camera will not turn on. It does nothing in FSX either. I've read the little bit of info available, but just can't get it to work. I am using the SimConnect for FSX under the game protocol window. Any suggestions, or am I missing something obvious? Thanks in advance for any tips to get up and running. I have been here for hours and am extremely frustrated. Best, Jeff

Hi, i am running FSX with MCE, RC and wondered is there an addon that installs sort of in cockpit or same widow as FSX, that shows airport runways and approach's. i'm thinking of FS MAP, does it do these things, or does anyone know of software that does, please. many thanks. :biggrin:

As I was notified by Navigraph that my credits were due to expire, I downloaded the latest Airac Cycles. However, as I still had 10 credits left, I decided to download the nDAC3072 so that I could download charts, etc. However, upon trying to run the .exe, it just crashes with an msiexe.exe error caused by a faulting module mscoree.dll. Any ideas what could throw this up?

Has anyone else not received their June/July issue of Computer Pilot? I've been a subscriber for many years and obviously liked the magazine but having emailed their "service lady" (as directed on the forum) several times and only received a reply once I'm not very happy with the publisher. The time I did get a reply was about 5 weeks ago and was told I would receive it in 2 weeks. I emailed another dept. who promised to deliver it within 18 days but when I said I would like a refund on my subscription if it did not arrive in that time I was told that they do not give refunds. I have: Saiteck Pro rudder peddles, Yoke, Quadrant.. Windows 7 64 Ultima I7 processor with 6GB memory The problem is the "Brake" on the lower left of the screen keeps coming on. I've tried adjusting the rudder peddles sensitivity and null zone but no help. I remember this being an old problem just don't remember the fix. Thanks to all who reply. Bill

I've been trying to edit the aircraft.cfg in FSX (Acceleration, etc.) on my Windows7 64-bit system but am unable to save the .cfg file: I get the prompt for administrator permissions, then the explorer window with the .cfg file and the option to "save", and, after clicking "save", I get the message "Access Denied". I'm logged on with adminstrator permissions and have the user account control set at the second highest level. I'd be interested in knowing the experiences of other members in managing aircraft.cfg files in FSX on a Windows7 64-bit system. Thanks! Barry, KSAN

Sorry to add another "what to get" topic, but here it goes: I'm looking to purchase a new plane and need some advice. I've been considering the C337 by Carenado or the C310 by Milviz. I'm looking for the best/most realistic flight dynamics. I purchased the Turbine Duke not too long ago and think that this is the most realistic plane that I have flown in a sim, but now I am looking for something a little slower. I love the way Carenado planes look, but after purchasing several, I'm really tired of the way that they fly, however, I've heard that the 337 has really good flight dynamics. Hi I i have been getting the fsx not responding message for quite awhile,and it eventually responds after taking 15 minutes plus to respond. I solved the problem by not clicking the desktop icon,instead right click and click open it then opens within 2to3 minutes. i also had the problem of long time opening of tile proxy it also worked with that . I hope this may help other simmers who have the same problem cheers Don

As we all know, the amount of FSX addons that have been released in the past few years is immense. The list just keeps going on and on and we see new addons released every day! I'm just curious to see what your favorite legacy addons are. When I say legacy, I'm referring to addons that were released in the FS2004 era or right when FSX was released. Which addons from back in the day are you still using today? For me, I would have to go with the Flight1 ATR. I know it has been updated to work with FSX but it is still a relatively old bird. I would also go with the KPDX scenery from Flightscenery and the KLAX scenery from Cloud9 (sold by FSDT today). Regard…

Is Qualitywings gone? I'm not able to get on there website.

When I open the FX Edit tool to view the effects all I get is a window with all the parameters. I was watching a video by someone that was great but I lost the site when I got a call on Skype. As I remember in the video the tool is supposed to have two side by side panes (one with the text and one with the viewer). I have read the SDK and it's no help. Does anyone know where the video might be? I have used Google search and all I find is editing FS videos. I'd like to be able to view the effects in FSX. I have WIN7 64 bit and Acceleration. There are so many landings with the AI traffic but not emough takeoffs its like the aircraft just sit at the gate forever and only a few leave at once and there are like barely any cargo flights mods please delete my old post sorry for this.

HI, I have recently tried experimenting with seaplanes in FSX, but coming from the UK there doesn't seem to be any water runways in the UK, well not in FSX anyway. I was hoping to find water runways and or scenery for Southampton water where Imperial Airways operated from or RAF Coastal command bases around the coast anywhere. I did find something on another forum called "Transatlantic Clipper Water Runways" which installs water runways in Southampton, Ireland, Canada and America, but doesn't actually show anything scenery wise in FSX.
