I cannot figure out what happened. My 3 monitors were working just fine and after I installed SPAD and fsuipc I rebooted and now, in FSX, it only appears on the center screen. Checked the settings and it still shows the correct resolution. Any ideas?

We all accept that weather is changeable and that we should not take too much for granted. That certainly seems to apply to FSX as well. Let me give you an example! Today I checked the weather for Melbourne Australia where I start from most often. My ATIS feed from Twitter was not available and seems to have stopped updating a week ago so I went to other sources for wind speed and direction so I could select the appropriate runway and this is what I found. I now get this streak of ?cloud that runs across the sky. See the attached picture I've tried to reinstall my REX texures, and copied over the Opus cirrus texture file to replace the default one-- no such luck. Mist effect is disabled. Help?

Can anyone tell me what causes my laptop to crash after I try and load a second saved flight? I can load one saved flight OK and fly it without any problems but when I go to load another saved flight the laptop crashes and I have to reboot. After I reboot everything is fine but once again only one saved flight can be loaded and then I have to reboot to load another saved flight.

hello everyone i have a problem with my fsx when i try to change anything in autopilot with the roll bar of the mouse nothing happen,i already reinstall the fs and all addons i want to know if is any suggestion thank you guys

I have upgraded to the new BETA 2.50.3 and when I go to my OPUS FSI Reports link and go to my Destination and Alternative METARS it shows the wind the same as my departure airport and has the word STATIC next to it, what setting did I mess up? I checked my wind stabilisation settings and when I got below FL190 which was the default value for the recovery altitude it switched to the correct winds. I went ahead and disabled wind stabilisation for now. Also, does OPUS depict wind gusts? I went into LAS and the wind was 210/13 gusting to 19 but I didn't have any gusts affect my aircraft on my approach.

im having this issue when taxing, where a plane behind me will be stop by the ATC like 100 ft behind me. i just re-installed FSX and i dont know what is causing this.

Check out the great HiFi interview on the AVSIM front page. With all the (sometimes testy lol) debates over features and functions it's easy to forget there are real people behind the products. It puts everything into a new light, especially understanding the reasons for starting the product, its history and versions and future roadmap and the people behind it. Great job!!

There was an applet that would take a traffic.bgl, open 'er up, reassign all the flight percentages (so you can use the AI traffic slider), and recompile all back again. TTools doesn't do that, does it.... it's been soooo long. Of course I can't find it in my 3rd party storage files. Maybe it was actually part of one of the big AI traffic programs and had this as an option? Any AI fanatics can help me out. Hi all, I'm getting back into flight simming after a long time away. The computer parts should start arriving this week! Does anyone have any suggestions for a clean install? I will be installing windows 7 on its own HD and FSX on another. I'll wait on buying add-ons for a while. Are there any issues I need to know with Win 7? I plan on installing win7 and all the patches, then FSX. Thanks for any input.

Does firehawk44 have some financial interest in proATC? seems a bit odd, as critical threads on other products have run for days. The member was simply saying he couldn't figure the product out quickly enough, and wanted suggestions for something else. anyhow, just seems like the mod was out of line on that one.

Can Any one help me out it looks like when i add an addon for FSX my ATC works just fine and about 20 nm out in the air from any deparcher airport it looks like it gets canceled .. ATC does not say this , I just dont have any more atc and even if i do a new IFR in FSX that doesn't change any thing .. and i cant contact my destination airport until i am about 30 nm out does any one know how to fix this Please

Overcast as far as the eye can see! This was actually a nervous approaching going into NZTU (as ATC routed me into a grass runway.. had to enter the downwind for 21 instead) One more over England today, looks great!

Hi All I just Changed my.cgf file and now i'm noticing that the default view has changed from .40 i have adjusted it to .65 to get it where it looks right but I don't see anything in the .cfg to edit it , I could have missed something , I'm also noticing that the + and = keys no linger adust the views Accordingly i have to use the Shift + = Thanks for your time. My short feedback. Air Hauler has incredible detail and is a really fine program that allows you to do so many things in a realistic environment including management functions. BUT You are forced to play this thing in real time. As a starting pilot, you must fly everything yourself (later you can hire pilots). So, you must start and stop each mission completely in one go to get credit and build reputation. If you dont do this, you really get slammed and will never be successful and will loose money. Then you cannot hire extra pilots to do other missions, which is the only way to make this thing really work if you cant be in your plane flying around every day f…

Starting to see more airports that have cars flying across highways in the middle of the runway. Obviously, something is wrong. What needs to be adjusted? I have all the Ultimate Terrain sceneries ( USA, Europe, Alaska) and all the GEX sceneries. Should something be re-arranged in my library? Let me know if you've seen this and have a solution. Thanks. Hi guys, We are always prodding away to try and make FSX run smoothly. My findings over the last few weeks have been that using the usepools=0 causes stutter. Quite noticable. Putting the reject threshold in, actually reduces the stutter. What is everyone working with? I am very aware of Word Not Allowed wanting to put usepools=0, Nick N suggests the opposite. Hi, sorry if not posting in the right forum.... I have bought the F-15 from Iris but the download is very slow and suddenly aborts with a defect zip as the result. I have a very fast connection and have never any bandwidth issues. I have tried downloading with both IE an Chrome, same result. I have tried several times over the last week. I have contacted Iris 4 days ago, no answer. Do any of you know if Iris has alternative download locations? Is Iris normally responding to their customers support requests?

I recently discovered that the exterior of my aircraft and my scenery disappears when I fly any aircraft in FSX. This stated about a week ago and I have no idea what might be causing it, I would really appreciate help from anyone who might have a solution. Here are some pictures Thanks, Kyle

Not sure if this is the right section for this, but here it goes. Has anybody worked out how to get the 777 working in FSX with a PSS merge? I managed to partially get the merge working (No VC, 2D works from what I can see). I only ask because I am a VC person..If nobody knows or it hasn't happened yet, then I suppose it's off to Captain Sim..I can't stand too much longer without a 777, or I'll go insane. Thanks!

Hi Everyone Have a great list of real flightplan routes for the southern hemisphere but need a good source of routes from the middle east (OMDB) in particular to europe and back. Also looking to real inter european routings. I dont seem to be able to access these on flightaware, does anyone know where I can get these sorts of route information as I have charts to plot it all out. Cheers Barra
