Hey guys, Don't know if i post this is in the right place, sorry if it doesn't. Anyways, I have severe performance problems with my FSX: For example: when flying above Dubai Intl. From FlyTampa i get insane lag. Like 8 fps with the trike ultralight. Same performance though with the PMDG 737NGX........ That's kinda weird to me to be honest. But, If i go fly really high and use external view to view the airplane from the bottom so I don't see the scenery, I get 60fps. (Not going higher because of Vsync) As soon as I pan the view so that there's very little scenery visible i get instant lag and huge stutters. Can anyone confirm that this is clearly a GPU/…

hi guys i need help. im running a third computer without fsx, im wanting to run a few fsx addon progs on it like ase and radar contact fsuicp i need to direct thease to my main (server) fsx.exe. well its in my c drive (c/fsx ) i cant seem to share it in my network everything ive tried doesnt let me im running windows 7 64 bit any how to steps would be much appreciated. thank you

Sure, we can load up the NGX and fly from one metropolis to another in full automation. I have read some of the posts about RT and how it works (makes the system assume that BP=1 and defines the threshold above which data is sent directly to the GPU). I have seen values in posts here such as 131072, 98304 and 32750. I assume these are multiples of some numbers? Does anyone know the base number that would refelct the smallest valid RT that I could start experimenting with? And do I just multiply that number by an integer to try higher valid RT values? for FSX obviously, which planes will work with 2 pilots? And im assuming you have to be on a gamespy server in fsx muliplayer mode. -I tried the feelther/wilco A320 last night with a friend. FAILED miserably. Has anyone tried the feelthere CRJ?

Now that I have gotten the view I want there is another issue. I can't get any of my VC cockpit views or selections to work. Here's what happens if I go to VC Cockpit view: The VC doesn't show up. It's completely open all the way around. Same goes for when I going for the F/O, Center Pedestal view as well. When I first booted up FSX and then OPUS and switched to my assigned view the VC Cockpit worked. Then everything disappeared and I was stuck with nothing but the view I had assigned and my 2D panel. So tonight ended in frustration when I felt ambitious to fly from Bismark, ND, to Billings MT. If you arn't aware, there is a MASSIVE snow front in the area, and I really thought I could get the autoland working. On top of decent, I loaded all of my performance info into the FMC, but had trouble getting my ILS frequency into the NAV1 Radio!! It wouldn't let me enter the correct frequency, only in NAV2. So, I just went with that, activated NAV2, entered the Coarse, and turned to align with the localizer. By this point I was at about 10,000 FT, and the thick layer of clouds offered me with heavy snow, and low visibility. I was going to turn on the "NAV" on autopilot…

I'm having an issue with the Eaglesoft Citation X 2.0. I love the bird. She is modeled great, and I kinda dig the Embraer mentality of the avionics. My issue is when aligning for the LOC or ILS at any airport I've tried to land at. The LOC path seems to be off centre from reality. Always, it's offset. It makes low vis approach unable. Also I'm having an issue with FSInn crashing my FSX with this plane. All my other planes fly perfect so it HAS to be the Eaglesoft, right? If anybody can chime in with a helpful comment it would be appreciated.

Hi Just after some opinions please. I have most of the Aerosoft Airports in this region, and I am considering buying Heraklion X. I will use it with NGX / MD-11. Can anyone tell me how it compares to the likes of Corfu, Kos and Larcnaca Airports from Aerosof in terms of FPS. I am hoping it is the same or better as Corfu, Kos and Larcnaca Airports as I get great performance with the NGX at these Airports. Thanks in advance Keithy

Hi I am running FSX Intel core i5 3450 CPU 3.10ghz Radeon AMD 6800 Windows 7 64 bit 8GB I have the Level D 767 FSX with the latest service packs 2A which was included in Flight1 Download. I for some reason have bad font displays on my FMC, like there are distorted and cramped including the A/T mode annanciation on the FMA, please see screen shot, some indicated with a red arrow, from a glance on the screenshot it appears good, but when you magnify you can see what I mean. In view of the fact that the Bahamas are such a haven for pilots of all kinds I find it strange that no-one has yet made a photoscenery version of these amazing islands. Does anyone know if there is such a thing in the pipeline by any devs? If not i may be forced to roll my sleeves up and get stuck in.

You have stated repeatedly in this and other forums that the 'cloud of doom' is caused by 'faulty or corrupt' cirrus cloud texture (namely the cirrus_overcast03.bmp texture) however this is not correct. I've freshly installed FSX from the DVDs and, after running OpusFSX, still see the problem clearly. In this case my cirrus_overcast03.bmp is certainly not corrupt! The reason for the phenomenon is due to the way FSX is coded to handle visibility layers but I've some observations to share with you... Its true that the solution you offer to replace this texture with your own modified one DOES remove the cloud of doom, however it has a rather (IMHO) jarring side effect. T…

I rescently had to reinstall my whole FSX\Gold Inatallation, Some thing ruined the scenery, most likely me as I seem to have a mess in there. I have learned here in the forum how to fix some issues, like when I get scenery.cfg errors in scenery area ??? at the start of the sim. But still I have a local scenery pack which isn't displaying correctly.I get trees on a taxi way at a particular airport. In the local forum they have made new scenery which corrects this fault. Another simmer tested it and report of no trees on the taxiway. My problems is I made a mistake when istalling the scenery to FSX in win7 pro. I didn't wait for the scenery folder to appear on the …

I've been trying new settings in FSX.CFG, and have a test situation I load to measure fps (PMDG MD11 holding short at KORD, with FSDT KORD and Aerosoft Chicago). Without panning, I measure fps (Shift-Z) and have noted a momentary drop in fps of about 10 fps every 6 seconds, very repeatable. I even restored my old FSX.CFG and tried some various settings in FSX Options/. Basically, for every combination of settings in FSX and FSX.CFG tweaked both by Word Not Allowed's settings and Bjote's web service, although I get different fps for all these combinations, I always get the drop in fps every 6 seconds. There are a couple of shared cockpit planes available -- from what I've read so far these work -- Maddog MD-88 Real Air Turbine Duke Does anyone know how difficult/easy it is to setup a multiplayer connection for shared cockpit with these aircraft? Are there any upcoming aircraft which will have shared cockpit multiplayer? Thanks.

Anyone try this yet? I have FSX Follow and it works pretty good for tracking your aircraft over the map. I was wondering how precip and storms are displayed using FSX Weather and how often the display is refreshed showing the changes in the location of precip. Thanks for any input! Airbus

Hi Stephen and Cheryl, Just trying out your new beta 2.40.1 Just going over the revised manual, Im curious to know why the high altitude wind shifts are described as being IF you suffer from wind shifts. I was under the impression that this is a Core FSX bug that affects all. But you have alluded before and in the manual that my system is susceptible while your system is not, or someone elses. What is the difference from my system to yours apart from hardware that you dont suffer from wind shifts? Are we not using the same core FSX or P3D program? Anyhow, I was trying to find a way to export FSBuild flight plans into E-Jets v.2 by FeelThere and what bothered me is if FSBuild put them in their list, they must have intended them to work no? We all know that ALL add-ons work perfectly with little user intervention (hey, I can dream can't I?). Well, what I found was the word "longtitude" in FSBuild, compared to an E-Jets flight plan. FSBuild correctly spells it LONGITUDE while FeelThere spells it LONGTITUDE. I simply edited the FSBuild flight plan for eJets…
