Hi Folks, I have tried the following ENB settings amongst other settings and I really like these very much. The only qualm I have is that the aircraft etc is soft and not sharp. The details and lines etc in all the aircraft etc are soft and when I check without ENB activated everything is sharp and detailed......could someone please advise me which of the settings in the below .ini file that I need to change to bring the sharpness back but still maintain the other ENB settings........many thanks in advance folks.... I really need someone to help me with this every time I try to start fsx It crashes before it can even load the menu. I do not know if this is due to a PMDG product but I highly doubt it. Last time I played fsx it was little over a month ago and I had no problems with crashes at all. I started trying to play fsx about 2 days ago and this was when I first started experiencing the crashes. I could not even get to the menu in fsx like I said, but after i restarted my comp I was playing smoothly like i was months before. Hi All, If this isn't the correct forum for my question please direct me to one that might be better. I recently installed Windows 8 64 bit OEM. I finally got FSX to install. After the install I ran it and it worked fine. I then installed SP1 ran it and it worked fine. I then installed SP2 and it loaded but wouldn't respond after loading. Any ideas? Perhaps SP2 could have been corrupted?? I'm at a loss as to why it won't work with SP2. I also tried Acceleration after SP1 and got the same results as SP2. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Just wondered if there was a way to remove AI Aircraft sounds, when i am parked at the gates with cEngine shutdown, I can hear the world of AI sounds of air crafts as they start and taxi past, I do not want to turn in FSX option the Enviorment sounds down as I want to hear the wind at altitude. After downloading and installing the full version of Opus I decided to test out the early morning fog this morning. When I started at Bristol, sure, everything looked a perfect copy of what I was looking at outside our house (we live 7 miles away.) But once I got to about 2500' I experienced the usual FSX thing of everything turning clear below me, certainly not like pics posted elsewhere on the forum. I was under the impression that Opus actually created the kind of white out that has been missing for so long... are there some changes I need to make or something I've missed do you think? I've read the manual...

HI, I have just created some autogen from OSM but I do not know where to insert the .agn files. The area is India - Mumbai - VABB. I do not know in which FSX folder the .agn files would need to be inserted. Help appreciated

i have set a button to my preferred forward facing view at a certain zoom level. let's say that i have pressed this button to set this preferred view. after i change the zoom level and click the same button again the view resets to the correct position and direction but the zoom level does not reset. only after i change to a different camera preset and then return back to the preferred forward view then the zoom level will be correct again. so in short, the zoom level should be reset after every assigned button press.

Hi I had couple of flight and it work good a part of couple of shakes during cruise , but I happened to drop new beta version for testing and something went wrong . Now when I am climbing temperature jump to + 45 and remain no matter ho many Tim's I restart . Any thoughts please cheers Petr

Browsing my fsx.CFG I see this setting: [VirtualCopilot] VirtualCopilotActive=1 Yet when flying, be it the 737-800 or a Cessna, there is no sign of a co-pilot anywhere... I dont mean visually, but in terms of hearing anybody else speaking or seeing things happen / switches being flipped etc...? So whats this setting for or what does it do in FSX?

I never wrote a review in my life but the sheer awesomeness of this program compels me to write one. Hands down this is the addon of the year. Opusx just delivers on so many levels and everytime you fire it up its the gift that keeps on giving. First of the program is light. When I first downloaded the program I though, hey is this it? Hope this message finds you all well. I have seen a heap of disjointed old forum posts regards the above topic which has sent my head spinning. Quite simply I just want to find out what everyone is using as an AI sound package. As the default sounds are quite weak I am looking for a realistic package to replace the default with. Anyways - Let me know if you can offer a suitable way to make the AI sounds a little more.........realistic. Jas

Some aircraft have a wind noise associated with flaps deployment (the greater the amount of flaps and/or the higher the airspeed, the louder the wind noise). I looked in sound.cfg, and in aircraft.cfg, and couldn’t find in those files where any settings are to change the volume of the noise, as well as the parameters that generate the noise (airspeed, flaps deployment). Is this usually imbedded into a .gau file where it is unavailable for “tweaking”? Thanks, Bruce.

Hello, Default keyboard command for opening doors is SHFT +E.... Or I have been on some remote planet for the last few years. Until tonight I have never had any problems with this command. Now, I find that pressing SHFT+E opens the door alright but it shuts almost immediately. First I thought that it was some joystick button that got in the way but when I disable the stick(s), the problem is still there. Did anyone encounter this problem before? I am running FSX deluxe + acceleration pack, no scenery addon's, just a few military aircraft. Luc Brusselmans Belgium

Hi I'm having a strange problem with EZCA, only on the 600/700 of the NGX. Trying to set up external views and all I get is this, rather than full aircraft! Doesn't happen on 800/900. Any ideas? Thanks

Since 2 weeks I use Windows 7 64 bit and now I want to install FSX ( Deluxe Edition on DVD's ) I read that PMDG suggests not to install it into the default directory which is c:/ProgramFiles(x86)/ MicrosoftGames/FSX but rather into something like c:\FSX Therefore I made a folder c:/FSX and the question is: how do I install FSX into that folder ? ( PMDG intructions mention nothing ) When I install FSX there is no option to choose a different directory and it ends up in the default directory again. Can anybody tell me how to do it ? Hello, Guys! See in picture given and tell me how is it possible that Thai Airways is on 36,975 Ft Height with 501 Knots Speed? Another plane I saw at the same place of KLM Boeing 747-400 was going on 39000 Ft Height and approximately 500 Knots speed? You can see this plane in the picture in yellow highlight and web site is planefinder.net. On FSX, When I fly B747-400, Its speed decreases as its Height increases and vice versa. My speed on FSX B747-400 is 274 Knots on 39000Ft Height. Very simple, when I decrease the Height, Speed automatically increases. So how is it possible in real Thai and KLM? Why I cannot go on FSX as Thai and KLM going?

Hi, Has anyone used osm2xp for creating .bgl files from .osm ? If you have done that have noticed any changes ? I did try but I am not noticing any difference in my home airport . It just creates a 1kb .bgl file and also builds the scenery when you load fsx.

Is there any program that will allow the user to visually see the scenery and location in a bgl or xml file? Is there any way to view all of the objects in FSX and Acceleration? Is there any way to visually search for a specific GUID object? Thanks, Bob.

What's the best way to go about doing a walk around of the aircraft? I put it in spot or locked spot, then spin around, but it's less than ideal because I still can't get in close. Also how can I set a camera outside and not have it follow the aircraft? Like a spotters view. Cheers.

Hi All, I have just purchased PMDG 737NGX and in the instructions it tells you to set the Texture_Max_Load = 4096 I have done this but every time I close FSX and then go and check the FSX.CFG it has gone back to 1024 Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening? Richard

After not playing FSX for a while, I started it up, everything seemed normal until I loaded up a free flight. First thing I noticed was that 7/8ths of the screen was black, with the other remaining 1/8th being my desktop (on the right). Also the loading bar was shifted to the left. When it finally loaded I could hear the engine, and could control the plane, but I just couldn't see anything on the screen. I could press escape and see the menu though. I need help!
