I hold down the spacebar and move my mouse to look around the cockpit, for some reason when I release the spacebar the view goes back to the middle but I can look up and down fine. It's just side to side. When I try to use the hat switch on my yoke the view just resets it self when I try to move it. Please help! I am lost.

Interested in purchasing one and the two that are most interesting are the RealAir Lancair Legacy and the newly released Civ Mustang by A2A. Looking for opinions from folks who've flown both and or other suggestions. I don't have RXP gauges currently so incorporation is not a factor in my choice as of now. On that note could someone describe what main functionality is provided by RXP GPS that is not present in FSX default GPS gauges? Thanks much for any thoughts or opinions.

Hi All! I feel like the Pairbus A320 reaches V Speed very quickly no matter what the weight is. In real life it takes a long longer to takeoff. I use FSPassengers with the A320. Hi everybody I have a high spec 64 bit computer with Windows 7 Home premium with no problems until I install PMDG 747X and PMDG MD11X and then I have what I believe is called the "busy icon" that is the Windows 7 ring or circle and the normal "arrow" icon both flashing quickly together. I can't seem to find an answer for this so please can someone help me thanks in anticipation. Geoff senior

new to flight sim, wondering if my toshiba satellite L755 can use fsx and still have decent graphics? It has the i3 intel core and the hd family graphics family.

I think after staring for 3 days at the EFHK charts i think i almost got it if there is a way for some one to help me read them i will be thankfull .. But my main point is what IFR routes are you using and what IAF I like to do small trips to EFHK any recommendation please I am pretty sure there is some one on this Form who has EFHK because it is such a wonderful addon Thank you will be waiting

Hi Guys, Thought I'd turn my hand to creating a series of tutorial videos. It's basically a guide showing how I set my machine up from scratch. I based it on a variation of Word Not Allowed's guide to get it sweet for DX9 and then it follows up in Part 2 with the DirectX10 stuff which is now available thanks to Steve Parsons. I'm pretty sure to most on here it will be teaching you to 'suck eggs' but to some newbies it might be of some benefit and help them out in a visual way so that they can follow along to get FSX humming nicely. Hi all, I recently added a few nice freeware airports to FSX.........Plus a few payware ones that tempted me too, ie FlyTampa Hong Kong and St Marten, I thought it might be nice to have a few detailed destinations to fly too. I should perhaps point out that normally I fly in and around Europe. So my question is this. Looking at my FSX scenery library, I know that any add on scenery must be listed, basically above the default and above "Propeller Objects" but does it matter which order any add on scenery is lasted in above that. Will FSX always load the scenery from the top of the list, in which case European sceneries should to at the top as I fly there most, then…

Nearly perfect in regards to what I've been looking for (supports Australia maps as well!) - Circle to Land All charts are downloaded directly to the ipad and 'cached'. No hidden or reoccurring fees.

If you are on an ILS flightplan in clear weather will ATC always clear you for a visual approach to your destination airport? What determines if you get a visual or ILS approach? Does it make any difference if you are landing at a stock airport or an addon airport with an ILS? It seems random. Thanks, Bob.

I remember in FS2004, there was an alternate sim1.dll file that reduced the ground rolling friction on all aircraft. Has there been anything similar for FSX? It seems that FSX is just as bad as FS2004 was. Thanks, John

..slider all the way to the left, UT2 is disabled, but still I can see A/C on the ground & on the air. I here the generic FSX ATC communicating with AI Birds ...... Have been having problem with skeletonized PMDG 737NGX aircraft (all other acft are OK) for the past few days. Also partially blacked out panel. Several people have suggested that I use ******* Bejote's FSX CFG tweaker tool but I can't get it to work. I fill in the blanks on the tweaker took website, copy the string and paste it to the clipboard and then to my "run" window. I then click on the begin here tab on the website and I get a message saying that nothing was sent. It's probably something really dumb on my part, but what am I doing wrong? Jeff Rocklin, CA

Hello- I purchased OPUS a couple of days ago, and so far have been impressed. However, there seems to be 2 issues that you may or may not be aware of. 1) I had flown from KORD-MMMX, and the upper winds between 340-360 never really changed, i.e. 50/50 or 51/50...etc. Is there true upper level winds aloft with this program? I thought there was or is that in the works? 2) On approach into MMMX, I saw an immediate cloud shift..in another wards, there wan't any smooth cloud transition. I hope someone can suggest what I need to do to fix this if possible please. Thank you. Ryan

Hi. I'm new to FSX and sorry for my ignorance. Which one is heavier on the frame rate, Anisotropic or Trilinear? my guess is Trinilear is rather lighter. Reading Word Not Allowed's guide, Anisotropic minimizes blurries but Trilinear looks good either. I'm running i52500k @stock speed as my mobo doesn't support OCing (I doubt I'll OC in the future). Hi guys, Strange things happen in FSX recently, but this is the strangest thing occured to me recently; The scenery of sicily is totally misshapen. I added some screens. Perhaps someone knows what the problem is? Add-ons in use: UTX GEX Europe Flytampa hong kong Madeira Vienna Ultimate traffic X And some aircraft addons I also deleted fx-skidmark.effects for better performance, but I guess it ****** up my textures. I've always been told that I should use CLAMP for FSX and not ALLOW. Why was that again? Because I found out that using ALLOW and then a Lod bias of something like -2.000 actually SHARPENS everything in FSX a LOT...! So I am wondering why everyone is advicing to use CLAMP...? ( (EDIT This is not about the LOD_RADIUS in the FSX cfg but about the Lod bias setting in nVidia Inspector!)

Hi all, I have these strange graphic glitches when I fly in Sweden, about 100 miles west of Stockholm. It only happens there, but I don't remember having installed any scenery...? Besides it seems a remote area with no airfields at all. The only package I have is GEX Europe. No, I don't crash into them, just pass through. I wonder what these are? Increase the hat switch pan rate...or allow us to pan by holding down the middle mouse button like EZDOK. I don't know how that simple feature was missed but since this program is so damn awesome i'm going to let you guys slide on this one

Hi all, I have recently noticed all the textures for the airport permitier fences and airport red and white barries have got really fuzzy unless zoomed in very close. My AA is 16x in Inspector and my Filtering is Aniscropic in FSX.

Hi guys, I think this one can be answered pretty quickly. Before purchasing Opus, I was always under the impression that the weather injection was done smoothly and not in a single inject. Is this the case? I have noticed that there have been several instances when flying and the weather has change instantly, such as few clouds to lots within a second. Is this normal and if so is there a way of reducing this effect? Thanks for a great product, cheers.

I have read through the manuals and searched the forums for an answer to this but couldn't come up with anything. I followed the instructions in the setup guide to have OpusFSX Autostart but it does not work for me. I am sure there is something I have missed but cannot figure it out. I opened the dll file located in C:\"user"'\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX and added the required entries.... also note I changed the drive from c to d which is where FSX and Opus are installed Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
