How does this work with Aerosoft Manhattan X and Imagine Solutions KLGA? I'm wondering specifically about the transition from around 3000', which would be where MSE scenery looks its best (from what I've heard) descending into Manhattan and KLGA, where the addon scenery would "pick up the slack." Has anyone used this combination, and what other combinations seem to work really well?

On all of my payware aircraft, there are jagged and uneven lines all over the place, like the GPS, Gauges, Maps, and just the aircraft in general. I have Anti-Aliasing on in my settings on fsx, but that only works for default aircraft for me. How do I smooth the lines on my payware aircraft? Not sure if this is right location to post this but had a question if anyone purchased anything from ORBX in USA, i am interested in their Jackson hole scenery but seems they only offer it in the europe and its boxed version has anyone bought it as download anywhere, greatly would appreciate feedback. thanks. and if only option available box, how long does it take to get it in usa?

Can someone help me place 2 Reality-XP GNS430 units in the Carenado Cessna Caravan 208? Right now I have 1 GNS430, the 2nd radio stack, and then the RXP WX500. There must be room to fit 2 430's above the WX500. Thanks!

I'm reinstalling the fsx , Previously i had the game in the default folder and had a couple of minor issues but nothing serious. Since i'm doing a complete re-install of everything i wanted to know how to do an install into another folder other than the default folder. I have windows vista.

I was thinking about the similar scenery they make and they both use same installers, are they the same company under different name?

So every time I load fs, select my aircraft then start flying the different views are fine. But then if I switch aircraft in the sim to let's say a different livery and when I go to an external view it's all zoomed in like I was a person standing under the wing. Now that I have my PC working well with FSX (thanks, Word Not Allowed), I would like to improve the weather over the FSX default options. I have looked at Activesky 2012, but I am concerned that the included textures will somehow interfere with the GEX textures (I also have UTX installed). I would like to have improved cloud textures, but not at the expense of a heavy fps hit. Anyone have AS2012 + GEX + UTX? Or is there another weather program I should consider?

After recently reinstalling FSX, I now get an error when trying to use FPS Limiter. The error is: (0xc0000005) "app was unable to start correctly click ok to close. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there a way to fix it? I used FPS Limiter for the past year without ever encountering this problem. I made sure to save my old bat file to use with my reinstalled FSX. It now doesn't work nor does the new bat file I created to replace it. All I get now is the (0xc0000005) error message. Any help or suggestions from the forum would be much appreciated. Gil Ferreira

WingX just updated their app to support FSX. Just flew a route with synthetic vision and HUD - coolest thing I've ever seen using FSX. Their moving map also "tracks up." I've been battling low FPS at highly detailed airports on my system, particularly at night. So I began the process of troubleshooting my drastically low FPS results and I learned quite a bit. DX9 produces higher performance on my system than DX10, with minimums in the 25-30 range and averages much higher but it also leads to OOMs so it's a no-go. DX10 does look better as well, IMHO. Lucid Virtu is basically a lost cause as it isn't updated often enough and therefore causes graphical anomolies or crashes with the majority of NV graphics drivers so I finally disabled it. I haven't played Flight Simulator since 2011 and I still like planes. I have PMDG 747-400 and I have followed the start up procedures a little. But there's something wrong with the FMC. The Primary Flight Display is like buggy or maybe it's normal and I mostly worried about the Navigation Display, It isn't showing the IATA codes. YPAD to YMML. Did I miss something or there's a bug?

I installed the lastest navdatacycle for PMDG737, FSCommander and ProATCX. The last 2 correctly show runway 15R+L. However in the PMDG FMC it shows 14R+L.

just bought one cycle to test it out, going to see what the coverage is like up here in Canada, I only like to update a few times a year so $8 bucks a cycle is no big deal, you can also get a year subscription for $32, if your hard core, the UI is pretty neat aswell.

Hi. I am not new to FSX but am new to this forum. I have been running FSX acceleration on my computer for some while, and apart from a few small glitches all worked well.. Unfortunately, originally I had a French version of Windows 7 64 bit. I changed to an English version of Win 7 64 and then p[roceeded to reinstall FSX and all the add ons that I had accumulated. I always use the menu option of ground scenery casts shadows. Is the program Shade a better alternative? I have found the ground scenery option really drags my framerates down. Is Shade faster than the way FSX does it? And better?

Hi all , I just wanted to let you all know the developer of facetrack noir is really getting there now with this software , the last version was still a bit to twitchy , but this latest version has 2 filters & the new filter is really good. Hi all. I 'm using fair weather theme & weather change rate VERY HIGH. Here are the questions: A: I flew from ZSSS to VHHH, along all the route the wind directon was always Mag274 @ 24kts and never changed. Now if i want set the wind to Mag100 @ 8kts, I open the User-defined weather, all weather stations, set the speed and direction that i want, the then click OK. But i found nothing changed. And station is 50nm away from my plane. Could someone tell me where is wrong? B: If I fly with the CLEAR skies theme, also setting the rate of weather change to VERY HIGH, will the rain or lightning come? will the wind changes? I tried finding the answers…
