Hi,I have two questions:1) How do you set up ENB series? I downloaded it, installed it in the Flight simulator folder ( like nearly every add-on ) but don't see any effects...it's as if I hadn't set it up...can someone help? thanks2) I keep reading about these "Bojote's tweaks"...I also understand that those tweaks can improve my FSX perfomance right? If I go ahead and "do" these tweaks, what exactly do I have to do? I mean, do I just have to replace the "default" data from FSX with this data given to me, or do I just have to add? I've let the KGCN OZx World Installer install it for me but after I do, the scenery doesn't show. I also go to the Settings>Scenery Library (within FSX) but I can't find the KGCN or a Grand Canyon name entry. Do I have to add it? If so, how? I tried to add it but it won't allow me to open the actual KGCN folder. When I click it, it keeps going in the folders instead of opening it as a whole (I think). -Andrew

Hi folks, So, i have the wanting for a 767. I currently have the CLS 767, but after the NGX and the QW757, it seems a little, well, Lame. I'm not saying i hate it and its awful etc etc, but what i am saying is, that its not as good as i remember, and not as proffesional as i want. This, then leaves me with two options, the Level-D 767 or the Captain Sim 767. Ok seriously, this is getting to the point where I'm nearly frustrated enough to give up simming altogether. Why on Earth do we bother with all these highly detailed addons that we can't even run half the time because of FSX and its rubbish 32 bit code? I tried to fly from Munich to Heathrow tonight in the Airbus X Extended. I have FTX England installed and autogen maxxed with scenery density back one notch. Opus is running and also Radar Contact. MyTrafficX 5.4 at 25%. No cars or anything. LOD radius is at 5.5 (which means textures look like utter crap but any higher just makes FSX blacken its bum-cheek even faster). I put together a couple of quickie videos comparing GEX and MSE in New York ... I'm not trying to start a debate of which is better because everyone will have their own preference. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find a codec that will work at 2560 x 1600 with YouTube so I had to downgrade to 1080p (1920 x 1080) ... I'm still working on getting that sorted. I used Fraps to record these clips so I lost a few fps. But I think these are good enough quality (not great) to see the differences between GEX and MSE ... tried to keep it around 1500 feet, obviously MSE looks better at 4000+ feet. After a 3 year long FSX career - or better said - 3 year fix problems with FSX career, I think I have just decided to give up on it now. In those 3 years, I've been spending more time achieving good framerates, fixing CTD's and other erros and problems, than I've actually spent flying. Today, when I just tried to uninstall some ORBX scenery, the whole ground in FSX became black and empty. Autogen is still there, but the ground within approxomately a 2 nm radius, is completely black. Surprisingly, there have never been any ORBX entries in Add/Remove programs (not sure if it's normal?), so I deleted the scenery via the ORBX folder. I just reloaded FSX and BAM! the who…

I wanted to know if the flight plans that you save using PMDG 737 interchangeable with other planes? For example, a flight plan i saved for the PMDG 737, will I be able to use it in the Aerosoft Airbus X Extended and so forth? Are SID/STAR the quickest way to make a flight plan? Since they already have predefined waypoints and such? I am trying to create a flight plan that goes over one city to another, so I guess I would need to make a custom one from scratch if this is the case? Hi: Two weeks ago I purchased an HP desktop, Windows 7, 2.8Ghz, etc. I also purchased FSX Gold, CH yoke, and pedals. In real life I fly a C 172. I have yet to make the FSX work properly. The two issues I have are throttle response and erratic yoke response as I approach to land. On take-off the tach reads a max of 2200RPM and then very gradually reaches take-off power of 25-2600 RPM. When I want to cut back the throttle to idle, the lowest RPM I get is 14-1500 RPM, making landing virtually impossible. Also, as I approach the ground, the plane becomes almost uncontrollable. Hey there!! I have 2 problems with the FSX Demo. 1. When I'm at a gate, there is NO jetway, my settings are correct, but I THINK it's an problem with the scenery config, as it wars me about that when I open up FSX. 2. When I'm in the virtual cockpit view, the only thing I now see is the runway. I don't know HOW that even happend. I really need help, as this is really annoying to me. Thanks. I'm new to this forum.

How can I set up ENB for multiple monitors? Currently it will only display on 1 monitor, leaving the other defualt. even though I only want to use 1 monitor for bloom, it always sets the bloom on the monitor I use for GPS/Nav/Autopilot/throttle, leaving my flying monitor with no bloom. How can I at least switch ENB to work on the monitor that I want? If not both? Ive tried using the control panel to make 1 monitor primary, and 1 secondary, to no avail. Ive tried switching the cables on the back of the computer, again, to no avail. The only way I can think to mabe to get it to work, is to change settings for ENB.. but I dont know how to do that, which is why I am asking he…

I am currently upgrading a few of my UK AI airlines (mainly the charter ones), and I was wondering if anyone is developing a set of paints for the Thomas Cook fleet? I have only found a handful on AVSIM and flightsim.com. Of course, I can use multiple versions of the same paint for different registrations, but it's always nice to have as many as possible! UTT have done a lovely set of paints for the Monarch fleet, so it would be nice to see a Thomas Cook set from them. This is what I have found at the moment..... Hi everyone I am a new user of Opus and do most of my simming based in Australia and New Zealand. I generally fly turboprops or tubes at FL160 and above and have not found the upper wind direction accurate for this part of the world. Ground level winds and weather seem fine but upper stuff seems once again way off for this part of the world. Is this likely my settings in Opus and can someone who has used this programme in my part of the world for a while care to lend an opinion or settings that worked for them based on the altitude I am flying at? Hey guys, I'm having a slight visual issue. The tyres in the landing gears in the newer SkySprit planes I've downloaded (like this one http://library.avsim.net/zipdiver.php?DLID=173653 ) disappear right after takeoff (before retracting the gear), and appear at touchdown (well after extending the gear again). Hi Sitting on the runway Tuned 110.30 for 34R at UHPP, but the localiser is pointing way off to the left. I used to see this before in where the localiser actually matches the runway opposite instead of the one its meant to, think i fixed that by moving Mytraffic scenery around in scenery.cfg. But this time the localiser matches non of the 4 runways at UHPP. Any idea how to fix this globally in fsx, if not whats the best way to fix for each airport i find the issue. cheers

I just installed Active Sky 2012 in hopes of stopping the wild wind shifts at altitude in the PMDG 747. I used the FSX settings recommended in the manual, but the problem is still there. The manual also has some settings to use if FSUIPC is installed, but they seem to contadict themselves. I don't have FSUIPC yet, but will get it if it will solve this problem. Do I disable weather, DWC, etc.,and if so, in which application? If any of you are using both applications and also fly a PMDG aircraft, I'd really like to know what settings you use in each. Please try to be specific. I'm not really all that tech savy. I'm using FSX and have a new high end machine. Thanks.

An A318, A319, and I'll assume an A320 later, have been released, with a great cockpit, VNAV, TCAS, Autobrakes; just about everything to make it five star freeware. It's based on the Project Airbus models, with the default VC/Panel heavily modified. Bravo, Francois Dore!

If I'm not mistaken, normally ATC would give the pilot all the procedures and turn instructions to follow to land the plane on the right runway. Since ATC is pretty much crap in FSX, how do most of you plan a simulated landing route? Or I should say, what is an easy, proper way to plan a landing route for the airport you know you will be landing at?

So i first noticed this problem because of GSX,at places like Heathrow and LAX and other very large airports, i would only get three options for parking, and all other services were unusable. After exiting the flight, the little location window would say "Heathrow Helipad" or "Los Angeles Helipad." No matter what i do, select a different parking spot, reeload the flight, restart anything, i cant get it to select the actual airport. Any helps greatly appreciated, thanks

I'm looking for a simple way to convert the VC textures of my Carenado King Air from the HD textures to something smaller. I like it but its hard on frames.

While trying to make some improvement in my FSX scenery library I have messed something up. I have a total of 384 listings in the scenery library. When I start FSX and go to settings and scenery library the titles show up for the first few items and then no titles for items 6 through 198. The addon scenery is there and works fine but no titles. Any good suggestions for me to try and get the titles showing again? I use Prepar3D also and the scenery library there is fine, but I have not tried to improve it either, so it is safe so far. I have run the acceleration disc with repair but that did not improve anything. If I add some new scenery the titles show up. All the titles…

Hi everyone Started playing FSX for the first time seriously recently and currently learning VFR flight in the Carenado Cessna 172.
