Hi there, On my old computer I had under the heading "select a flight" a long list of flights/adventures using a B737-xxx with nothing but Southwest Airlines livery. Today I can't find where I got these flights nor remembering installing such a program. Does anyone out there have any idea of what I'm talking about in regards to these flights. BTW, I use FS9. Hi Does anyone else experience problems with REX abruptly changing the weather? I often see very sudden cloud changes and/or movement as well as wind shifts. I have turned on cloud smoothing and wind smoothing, however this does not seem to have much of an effect. If anybody could help that would be great. Thanks

hey guys, can someone post a simple procedure for scenery enhancements installation? Since there are couple of types of enhancements I am not sure which after which I should install (landclass, mesh, textures, etc.) A quick rundown of the recommended payware products of each type will also be greatly appreciated. By now I have my eyes pointed at the following: GEX, UTX, SceneryTech. I also find FS global and ORBX UK very interesting, but will they work with GEX/UTX/scenerytech combo? thanks in advance

Before I buy FScene4 on today's PCAviator's special deal ... I need to know:If I install it will it overwrite all of my FTX, GEX, UTX, landclass? And if I can install it safely without destroying what I have, does it appear in the Scenery list where I can lower the priority below my other previously installed third pary textures.My goal is to liven up the world that is not FTX/GEX/UTX etc?Is that doable? Hi all, I have found myself quite drawn and interested in MegaScenery Earth lately...... But I was cautious at the same time; my last photoreal scenery was the UK stuff, from Horizon GenX .... not bad at all, but if I were to buy into more photoscenery (and of the US), I would want it to be a little better; or to have moved on in some ways. I was also nervous because of the absence of any autogen. I am not an autogen freak, and even in normal areas in FSX, only have it set at 'Normal' (sometimes even sparse, when in heavier planes). And then there was the fact that there never seem to be that many screenshots from MSE 2.0 (or maybe I'm just not looking in…

Just bought Balearic Islands X and looks lovely flying low down , but a bit blurry at altitude.4,00 feet + and hills in the distance, I had heard it should be the other way around? I am running over 3 screens on 680gtx. $gig Now the question is the AA setting. Word Not Allowed recently posted about setting this in Nvidia Inspector at 8 x. I have noticed at low altitude the mountains appear to look a tiny bit better if I up this to 16 x or 32 x. Frame rates don’t seem to have changed in the brief testing I have done. Is this a good idea or will it slow things down over time on a long flight? ie overload the graphics card? Supersampling is 4x I must stop tweaking …

I have been doing a lot of research about configuring fsx.cfg but still would like some assistance. For those of you who are running a similar setup as mine. I just built a new PC primarily for FSX. - Intel i7 3770k OC to 4.5Ghz - EVGA NVIDIA GTX 680 FTW (4GB) - 16GB RAM Could someone help me with my settings in fsx.config? I'm hearing a lot of conflicting things, like set framerate to unlimited and others are saying lock it to 30. Use bufferpools, and then I read some articles saying set BP=0. It's throwing me off. I'd like to purchase FSUIPC for FSX, but all the info I can find is several years old. For those of you using it, how good is it at smoothing out wind shifts at altitude. I get wild shifts that continuously put my PMDG 747 into the low and high speed barber poles. This makes it impossible for me to use winds aloft data. Thanks.

So I was downloading a Driver update from Nvidia and I found this Beta software GeForce Experience. Has anyone heard of it? Have they tried it? http://www.geforce.com/drivers/geforce-experience Just saw that it did not support FSX but its a really cool software!

I have MyTraffic X 5.4 and some payware airports but most of them is empty without static aircraft. Also there are few planes landing or taking off in these airports. My traffic is set to ultra high. Should I set it to %100 to see a realistic traffic? Also does this makes a load on i7 cpu? Thanks

I'm having a slight problem with the turboprops on FS KBT's L-188. I find it very hard to taxi properly as the plane just shoots forward when I open the throttles even a little bit. There's a switch in the cockpit that has 2 positions: "Low RPM" and "High RPM". I tried the switch and in "Low RPM" mode it moves the mixture levers down to 1% (low / ground idle?) which should reduce the RPM a lot, but it has almost no effect whatsoever. Even after flipping the switch, opening the throttles a little bit makes the plane accelerate so much that it's difficult to control because I have to use the brakes all the time. Does anyone here find that these 2 default views in FSX are pretty much pointless? I can't even pan around whenever I'm in these views.

Hello, i am having problems installing liveries on the Quality Wings Bae 146. I installed many liveries without problems on the QW 757, but when i try to install on the Bae, the following comes up: ''Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quity, the application will close immediately. Object reference not set to an instance of an object.'' I have tried clicking continue many times, but it just doesn't install any liveries. Is there any place i can download texture files, so that i can add liveries manually? Cheers, Kim.

Ive found more than a few times when using the FSX ATC, that when I go to request nearest airports or some other command, there are no options available. Sometimes it says there are no messages for me or some such useless statement. Any thoughts on why and is there a quick fix within the flight without having to start over? Thank goodness for Radar Contact, etc but sometimes a guy just want to use the built in lazy version.

I was hoping OrbX did but sadly no. The only one I know is MegasceneryX and it only covers Oahu and not the entire Hawaiian island. Since I love flying in this area the most, I was wondering if any of you know if theres a complete solution for high quality scenery complete with airports and such?

Hello, A while ago i flew the ifly 737 from Brussels (EBBR) to Rotterdam (EHRD). When I took off from Brussels and turned the autopilot on the airplane leveled off/descended and it accellarated to very high speeds. I can't remember my exact altitude but it was right after takeoff. Can anybody help me? Thank you! Greetings

I am still suffering from wind/pressure shifts. I am using High altitude stabilisation, and I also use the GRIB forecast Data as well as Sim friendly GRIB Wind and Tempt targets. Id rather not use the stabilised GRIB DATA because they are simulated and I want to fly with real world weather. That being said they are greatly reduced. Just that I get 2-3 in a 4-5 hour flight. Flying with VAFS I get penalized everytime. Now that this is a big FSX bug, and hard to conquer I must say you are working very hard to supress them and its appreciated. Hey all, As I'm from the UK I tend to operate all of my flights out of London (Heathrow or Gatwick). I also regularly fly out of these airports in real life, and though the airports look amazing (I have addon scenery) the actual city looks very unrealistic. I have REX, GEX and UTX, can anybody suggest a way to make London look more realistic without too high an FPS hit? My specs are: 3.5ghz i5 760gtx 460 1gb4gb ddr3 ram @1333 mhz I generally get about 50fps but when I run my PMDG 737NGX I tend to get approx 20 on the ground at complex airports. I'm happy to compromise on traffic for a better looking London - What do you guys suggest? Thanks :)

Having recently purchased OpusFSX, I am loving the real weather but find myself wishing I could reduce wind speed on occasion because I like flying low and slow. Is this possible at all?

A friend added an ILS frequency on the AFCAD for a particular airport. I'm not going to take the credits for adding the ILS frequencies to the airport. We are trying to solve a little issue when we load and perform an IFR flight to this airport, (which originally didn't have ILS on approach to either runway), we only get Visual approaches to both runways from ATC??? What have we missed, or have to do, to make FSX give us an ILS clearance on approach? Hope for a reply soon... :Thinking: Berlopez
