I have lots of addon and it started to confuse me. I know that I have to put airport then city then terrain scenery in order to look normal but I have Ultimate Terrain X and OrbX so everytime I activate OrbX products they appear in the top priority so do I have to move UTX place everytime? Also do I need to put UTX below all the city sceneries?

Hello, i know i shouldn't post here but at the proper forum i received no help and i'm clueless ok, i changed computer and reinstalled FSX along with its addons, including EZCA camera software. The program installed fine, i ran the config utility and it regularly starts up with FSX. But when I click on the top menu addons\ezdok camera\show studio nothing happens. Ezca still seems to work, as i can't cycle the views like normal FSX woula allow me to, and if i press numpad 2 (the default EZCA key to edit the current camera position) i can hear the distintive 'bing' and i can pan around with the mouse. Without the studio i can't add more cockpit cameras as i used …

Hi, I've got some small issues with a few of my third party aircraft. Can anyone advise some cures? I have an Aardvark with a constant vapour trail coming off the port wing. I have a 767 with a faulty horizontal stabaliser. It can't take off unless I set the trim to 4. It then has to remain there for straight and level flight. I have an airbus a320 which I cannot have the throttle levers respond to the joystick, I can only use the F keys. Also can change the settings on the MCP such as IAS/ ALT

After reading so much criticism of the quality of the default vc s, I've wondered if any 3rd party developer has provided the critics with one acceptable?I've lost track of the vc ac available by 3rd party developers. Other than the Yanick Falcon 50, does anybody offer aircraft for 2K2 with a vc with at least default clarity? I have no problem with the default clarity. And the vc really enhances the flight experience. It's a really nice option to have, especially if one does a lot of VFR flying, as I do. But hand flying the 737 up to cruise and sitting back to enjoy the scenery in the vc is also a great time!Don't you think?Rick

In the B737-800 Panel, there a pic called: 737_Panel_Decals_2.bmp But I never seen that when I use the plane.

OK. I purchased FSX Deluxe, installed it, now, how do I start it? Installation leaves no desktop icon. I use Windows Vista Home Premium 64 bit. No mention of how to start in the printed manuals. Any help is appreciated. Mike

Can anyone tell me some real world values instead of just having a slider? Say, does maxing the slider create changes in weather every 10 minutes, while the lowest settings (besides never) changes the weather every 6 hours?I'm trying to test it out, but it seems like no matter what I set that as, the weather never changes. Obviously, using real world weather updates every 15 mins, so does the setting apply to the weather preset themes?What setting must weather be set on to see these changes, and are they random or what?Thanks guys. Hello, I recently installed the Discover US and Europe on my computer, but I can't seem to find it anywhere. When I am on FSX, I checked everywhere and couldn't find the ability to fly the missions from the Discover CD. However, when I am flying on FSX and try to save a file, I see that all the legs are saved there (Europe001, Europe002, etc). Clicking the "Show saved files" in the mission menu doesn't work for the Discover saved files I saw while saving a flight. Does anyone know how I can fly Discover missions? Is there a load button somewhere? Thanks!

Hi guys, I wanted to do a VFR trip these few days basically from Germany to Morrocco. Here is my route and stops: EDKB-LFBZ-LEBA-LEJR-GMTT-GMMT-GMFF-GMMW-GMFF-LEJR-LEAM-LESB-EDKB i was looking for some VFR mesh for my route, something for France and Morrocco and also Spain. It could be payware or freeware. Also possibly airport scenery for those airports.

Is there a way to get my logbook saved on a text file? Or is it already there somewhere for me to look at in text format. If I remember correctly, I used to be able to do this in FS9?

I've heard that some use a dummy folder (an extra almost empty FSX folder) when installing certain addons to check what files are added to FSX. I am aware that some addons will have wrong registry entries etc. if you do this, but I find it interesting nevertheless.So my question is, what files and folders do you need to include in (copy over to) the dummy folder. I guess FSX.exe needs to be there?

Hi Since November I have been tuning and almost there. Only thing really left is the A I Aircraft lights, Unless I have the labels switched on I find it difficult to see any AI Aircraft Lights while airbourne unless they are almost in touching distance. My settings in cfg are RUNWAY_LIGHTS_SURFACE_SCALAR=0.7 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_VASI_SCALAR=0.7 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_APPROACH_SCALAR=0.9 RUNWAY_LIGHTS_STROBE_SCALAR=0.8 With these I have finallygot the airport and Vasi lights just as I want them, but can anybody tell me which one I need to adjust to perhaps make the AI Aircfaft lights more prominent (but without the big blurring blobs they were without any light settings). …

I don't like the FSX ATC so I was checking for some addons. Is there an addon that works as the same way as in FSX for IFR and with new voices? Is Radar Contact suitable for my needs?

The technology being put into the flight decks of new production airplanes is amazing - synthetic vision, geo-referenced charts, etc, but it seems to me that as these new avionics packages get more complex with more features it is less likely that we will see realistic interpretations of them in FSX. Does anyone think we will see PMDG-quality fidelity in something like a G3000 or have we hit a brick wall? Thoughts?

Hey there ! I just installed FSX and I was wondering how should I configure (sliders,fsx.cfg tweaks,etc) it to run it smoothly with my spec... My idea is to fly above FL200 most times so textures details are not very important... BTW, i was planning to buy the PMDG 737NGX but, do you think it will smoothly with some sceneries? Hello folks i must say this program so far has great potential , but before i explain my prob. im running a network of coms, 4 to be correct. all are running w7 64 bit. im running a 10 monitor set up with 4 computers. everything is great as far as connecting the coms together. loaded opusfsx as prescribed , loaded the stand alone main pc first to test the software works great. loaded the second com to load opus fsx to run it over a network. i was able to get great results in getting it all to work , had a scenic left view and a scenic right view networked on a second machine. now here is what becomes a problem. i can connect t…
