Hey everyone Was going to pick up Flytampa Boston next weekend. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions on it? I Have FlyTampa Dubai and Kai-Tak so I know how good the products are and how friendly they are on fps. Just haven’t heard a lot about the KBOS package.

Hello, Does anybody have the BBS A330, is it any good. I love the real aircraft, this one looks good externally, internally...well i've seen worse i've seen better. I know that it's currently in beta, does anybody own it? I know that FSL have said that they will eventually 'do' the entire Airbus series, but given how long the A320 is taking, i wouldn't expect the A330 until the heat death of the universe.

I don't where to begin to sort this, i am running FSX with ORBX England and REX on an i7 laptop with GT640m Nvidia graphics card. I am using the FSX provided Cessna G1000, in all cockpit views anything other than the screens and dials are blurred. The aircaft settings are set ultra high and 3d, i have had perfect cockpits prior to a forced reload of FSX Gold. I am not too sure at what point the cockpit has failed, but i have had 20+ fps before with terrain and REX so i don't think it is the hardware? I have changed fsx.cfg with the Venetubo tweaker. I don't know where to begin to fault find any help appreciated.

Hi guys, I just bought the latest version last month and enjoying it thus far, however I'm finding that, when opus is running I can only open the main exit via the shortcut keys ie shift+ e All the other doors ie shift+e+2 and greater wont open. When opening the secondary doors/exits only the main exit opens, regardless what door/exit I try Is anyone else experiencing this, it's not a biggie but I would like to use my gsx and other addons that require the use of doors Thanks in advance

Hi, I use to fly with a second monitor to display the undocked CDU's and lower EICAS of my PMDG NGX. I always fly in 2D view. Since installing Opus the screens of the CDU's don't update anymore so you it looks as if the keys are not clickable anymore, but when I move the CDU back to the main monitor you can see that the keys where in fact clicked. Does anybody experience this issue and if so, do you have a solution ? thanks Martin

Surely there is a large market for addon scenery for the 2 biggest PNW airports, KSEA and KPDX. Surely someone is working on these airports?? Flytampa? FSDreamteam? Orbx? Someone??

Will the DHM work in all aircraft, i cant get it to work in the cs727 or the concorde x.

Hi all,I was trying to find the answer to the following on flightsimulatorguide.com but rather annoyingly it is not available... :( I am trying to move the Aerosim L-1011 (including the freighters) into FSX Gold and have run into one or two problems:1) Lights - the coordinates for all the lights seem to have been slightly altered in FSX, as well as the delay timings for the strobes and beacon lights. The strobe lights are massively out of place and both these and the beacon lights flash far too fast. Does anyone have the correct settings for these in FSX?2) Default effects - Wing-tip trails, water spray effects also seem out of place. Can anyone tell me how to fix these?…

Does anyone know of any website/database of real world routes in Europe without having to go to the website of each operator? Essentially what I'm looking for is a website where you can plug in an airport pair ie EGLL/ESSA and be shown which operators operate that route? Thanks

Hi On route to PAJN this morning and I need to ask why my left and right elevator surface positions are deflected downward when in level, stable flight? The indication on the PFCS can be seen on the attached image and the corresponding position of the elevators is shown below: This does not seem to affect the flight dynamics when in cruise and AP is engaged. When I try to adjust the elevator trim there is no response. I use a CH Eclipse flight yoke which I am certain is properly calibrated. Any suggestions or advice would be much appreciated! Thanks

Hello, I really need an answer for this question/problem. I have FSX and I am trying to install REX (Real Environment Xtreme) Essentials + Overdrive. Whenever I do, the textures don't show up. Then I try uninstalling and re installing again, but then FSX deletes automatically by itself after I remove REX. It has happened 3 times already (yesterday) and I think the problem is where I install it to. Can somebody please tell me to what specific folder I should install REX to because I just re installed Windows 8 yesterday because my computer had errors re installing FSX (after it got deleted 3 times lol). Since installing fsx water configurator i have found that the water textures are non existent and the reflections are, well hard to describe so i have uploaded a screenshot on to this post, i have uninstalled fs water configurator, i have also tried reinstalling my REX theme but does change anything, oh, and on a small side note on the topic of REX, i cannot change the ocean water colours, it gives me the option to save it once i have altered it to the colour i want but when i click save it does nothing, it does not freeze but just does nothing, but allowing me to press it again with the same no effect effect. TrackIR is now on version 5.2.200 Everyone will lose their EZDok cameras if you just install the update. What everyone forgets (me too!)... once you install the new version of TrackIR... DON'T FORGET TO RE-NAME THESE FILES IN THE TRACKIR FOLDER: simconnect.manifest simconnectSP2.manifest I change mine to "OFF-simconnect.manifest", and "OFF-simconnectSP2.manifest" All your cameras will work again, and all will be well in the universe.

Hi Guys had to check this out here is my first thoughts not a lot of investigation but here is the good part have seen no ill effects with this addon trees are much better placed in scenery many more to add immersion and I cranked up the autogen sliders to max and for some reason I did not see any fps lost and do not know why very weird how can this much stuff be added and not give a hit to the fps did notice at altitude some ares the textures could be a bit dark but that could be sweetfx as for that AA is still work in progress so disregard that aspect I am pretty impressed so far considering the amount of trees with no hit I know its default aircraft but still should ha…

Looking at simmarket there seem to be very few mainland Spain payware airports. Anyone know why? Some tiny countries have a wealth of top quality add ons, and a massive country such as Spain has almost nothing. I can't find a brightness knob for the standby altimeter, I found one for every other display, the standby altimeter is very dim now at night.

When I try to connect to SB, there is no servers to choose from. So basically I am unable to use Vatsim. Anyone know why this is? None of the servers show up, its just blank when I click on that tab.

I am thinking about purchasing this awesome plane, one question thought.. i don't have rudder pedals and a throttle quadrant... I am only using a joystick.... After reading into it i hear that you are not able to steer on the runway without a rudder ??? Is there a way to take off for me without rudder pedals ? i don't have money right now to buy the plane and the pedals..

I always wondered if there's any good business jets for FSX. I've noticed quite amazing GA offerings (a Lancair Legacy comes to mind - great tip from the AVSIMmer that recommended it to me!), excellent commercial planes (I think we all know which company takes the cake on that area), good military offers, but when it comes to business jets, I haven't seen anything. The closest to a good bizjet I saw was Corenado's King Air but that's not a jet, and I'm not quite sure how good it is. As such, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any good business jet offering and/or if the Carenado King Air is any good. Aside from that, I'm also wondering what developers people like. I'd wan…

Random question but is there any mod/trickery you can do to eliminate the requirement for engines to be off before you can use AES services? Reason I ask is my flying time is often limited and it would be nice to avoid having to do a full startup procedure but still be able to use AES functionality (i.e. airstairs etc.) I suppose another way would be to start the flight in the cold and dark state and then once finished with AES functions, to load the NGX default panel state, but I just wondered if there was an alternative.

Here's a question for hardcore simmers of the PMDG or A2A variety - is there an aircraft that isn't as high fidelity, that's perhaps simplistic or has some significant flaws, that you nevertheless like, maybe in spite of yourself, and fly anyway? This occurs to me because when I first did my reinstall, I decided to be a purist, and reload only the absolute best aircraft. And yet, a couple of months in, I find myself thinking about reinstalling the JustFlight DC-3. Hi, I recently have this problem, water landclass no longer displaying correctly and it happen only to FTX PNW scenery areas. The water tiles around FTX PNW will keep displaying a forest landclass. As I slew my position the loaded water land class with disappear and become the forest landclass, please see pics. Please help if anyone have this problem before and solved it. Thanks.
