I've attached a image of my specs I have fsx with sp1 removed sp2 I also have a scenery add on for North England and Rex essential plus overdrive installed, I was getting a steady 32fps until a couple of days ago now there up and down all over the place not steady at all until your in the air, I also have uk2000 egnt ( newcastle international ) and all Of a sudden the lines along the side of the runway are there until about 8m down the runway then they vanish and flash same as the centre lines. I have come seeking some advice and help on a matter that has been driving me crazy. I just purchased a new laptop the other day, it is a Toshiba i5-4200U Processor Laptop. I know how to download aircraft to FS2004 and an extent FSX. I can download the aircraft just fine off of the internet and create files, but cannot find where to transfer them. I cannot find the FSX file which holds the different sections to transfer to. The only options I get are FS9 and FSX disc, both do not work. Can anyone help me? Anyone using P3D Version 2 please remember to install the LM latest SimConnect, you may also want to download and install our latest Beta Version and try enabling the new OpusFSX Volumetric Fog Effect option in our Weather User Preferences dialog. The last 5 or 6 flights I have in counter turbulence I have it turn off in my FSX I check in the weather program i<am using it also is turn way down,Last nite it was so bad it crash my aircraft after I slow it down any ideas????

Through the years I have enjoyed many of the IRIS products and when I tried finding updates to my many aircraft I ran into problems with the many retailers I had bought IRIS Products through. I sent a message to them explaining my situation and left it at that. I get the following error when trying to install a repaint via the Repaint Manager (see attachment). Problem is it doesn't tell me what the error is. Already tried running as administrator and uninstalled and reinstalled. Any ideas? Anyone know of an already unpacked texture folder I can just throw in there and bypass the repaint manager? Thanks. One for the technical gurus I think - while using Task Manager to investigating an unrelated problem, I noticed that with my a/c sitting on the ground, no traffic, while the FSX CPU load was running mainly at around 12-14%, every 37 seconds (really) it would shoot up to 70-90% for a period of about 25 seconds, and then return to normal. 37 seconds later it would do it again. And again. That's a fair chunk of processing. Does anyone have any idea what would be doing this ? It runs well with P3D out of the box so far. Clouds are drawn the way I am used to it. With the new lighting it looks amazing even with default clouds. However since the whole system with fog (volumetric) and layering has dramatically changed, it looks kind of dull now. To much restricting layers now? It worked and looked well in 1.4 with draw-distance clipped to 80 miles. Performance was very good that way. I would like to keep the superior draw-distance P3Dv2 offers (and some blue sky as well). And of course would like to see the volumetric fog. Any advice or tips on what setting should be used? Cheers, Marcel

Hi, great software. I am trying to transfer Opus from my old computer to my new upgraded computer. On the new computer I downloaded the OpusFSX_Flight1_Purchase.exe and using the reinstall option I let it install to it's default C:Opus Software folder. I copied my previous OpusFSX.lic and opusopusfsx .key files to this Opus Software folder and then ran the OpusFSX.msi installer which installed Opus to C:OpusFSX. Opus recognises FSX and does work but it operates in Limited Operation mode only. Did I miss something? Thanks, gb.

So I have been installing a few more add-on airports. This time from FS dreamteam. I started DFW for the first time and there were zero terminal buildings and everything was grass. The only things that I could see were other planes and jetways all over the place on grass. Any help on what to do to fix this would be greatly appreciated thank you in advance!

I am really getting tired of this business between Working Jetways, AES, GSX, And Fake/Static Jetways. Now that GSX is probably favored over AES, this is really getting ridiculous!! I am also getting tired of having 2 marshallers!! Last night I was flying from Aerosoft's PANC,(With AES) when I called for GSX's refueling, the air stairs parked up the aircraft right inside the jetway. Now I know this is no fault of GSX, but it's a fault of companies not updating their sceneries to natively support moving jetways. Took a quick flight with the RealAir Lancair Legacy last night. Loaded the latest version of OPUS FSX weather with bump switched on in the camera DHM settings. On climb-out I engaged the autopilot. All was fine until reaching cruise at around FL80 when the autopilot refused to level off and continued the climb. It also didn't react to any heading change instructions. I switched it off to fly manually when I discovered that the flight dynamics were stuck! The elevators and ailerons were moving (I checked in spot view) but unless I wound on at least 30 degrees of bank it wouldn't react to stick inputs. This happened with bump and levels 1, 2 or 3. Hi, I believe to have read some posts where users are setting different camera views to different keys. What i would like to achieve is for example: keyboard number 1 button is assigned to main pilot view keyboard number 2 button is assigned to overhead keyboard number 3 button is assigned to FMC view keyboard number 4 button is assigned to Throttle quadrant.... Good evening everyone, I have been goin off the hook lately with flying, mostly In the NGX but a few flights in the 77L, PFPX has taken my flying to a whole new level. Recently I did an ETOPS flight from KLAX to PHNL, great flight, only thing I had trouble with was some of the ETOPS planning. I used the PMDG 737-700 for the flight, did suffer some weight penalties but that is to be expected in a 737. My plane was configured for ETOPS 180, not sure if this is acceptable on a 737 but I did it anyway. Well, I have the LSH MD-82, and it's a fanstastic aircraft. The only thing I have against it, is the sound. I can hear the engines running when I switch to the VC view even when it is in a cold and dark panel state and the engines are not running. This bothers me, and really is an immersion killer. So I did some research, and it seems others have experienced this problem too. I did some more research, and found myself at Turbine Sound Studio's website. I looked at their MD-8X sound pack for FSX, and the sounds in the YouTube video were amazing! I was almost ready to buy because it sounded nearly identical to the real JT8D's, which I have heard up close plenty of times…

I have been away from FSX for awhile and have noticed now since updating OpusFSX that during long haul flights FSX routinely pauses for long periods after 1 hour or so of flight time which locks up FSX for up to 5-10 min and the then resumes play. What could cause this?

I must admit, this looks pretty good according to screenshots. Anyone bought it, impressions? Also how it can be enabled with FTXG?

Hello, I'm having a problem with the new Alabeo PA38 Tomahawk II working with Opus. What one has to do with the other, I can't understand. When I load the Tomahawk, if I start Opus, I can start up the Tomahawk and takeoff, but shortly after takeoff FSX will lock up with a fatal error. If I don't use Opus, I can fly the Tomahawk all around with no problem. This is the ONLY aircraft that I have that doesn't seem to get along with Opus. I have never had this problem before with any aircraft. I have contacted Alabeo, but they have not responded with an answer to my problem yet. Is there any reason, that you can think of, that one aircraft, namely the Alabeo Tomahawk…

I was looking for recommendations since I am interested in trying an airbus. The airbus x extended looks cool, but the caveat is that I have been spoiled by pmdg. The 737ngx is my favorite plane and I like highly realistic aircraft. My understanding is that FSL is developing an airbus although I am not sure when it will be ready for release. I know the airbus x extended was updated. Should I pick up the airbus x extended if I want a realistic simulation? Will the FSL airbus be on par with pmdg in terms of realism? Should I wait for the fsl release?
