Hi, I am a bit surprised at the lancair stall modelisation. Here is my case: 11000 ft 120kt fuel 70%. I start a power off stall. I reduce power ,the speed decreases as I maintain my altitude with the stick. At 80 kt, I have the stall warning, the aircraft shudders. I gently push the stick forward, at 10000 ft, my speed reaches 125 kt, I pull the stick gently, apply power, to no avail, the aircraft sinks nose down and whatever I do with the controls the aircraft keeps diving nose down. I don't enter a spin, nor a secondary stall, it is only that the aircraft controls are ineffective.. I can replicate this behaviour at most of the power off stall that I make. I've nev…

Although I'm pretty new here, and I've not yet even played FSX, I've learnt that it is important to install products in the right order and to reboot between installs. Once again (it has happened many times in the last 10 Years) my rudder has done a full left hardover. Nothing I do will get it centered. Has anyone a solution? I am not using rudder pedals of fsuipc.

Hi guys, I`m looking for some opinions on what to get after getting back into FSX after about 6 years. Is there anything in the way of a campaign/career type thing for FSX? I am mainly wanting to fly airliners and do a little bush flying on the side. With so many add-ons I haven`t a clue where to start. I was looking at the PMDG 737, since I will mainly be flying the east coast of Australia, and it seems like a decent add-on. No idea on what aircraft for the bush flying side of things though. When sweetfx is enabled my graphics are perfect. The problem I got a home built simulator and I have 2 monitors in the dash board. I play in full screen mode and slide the gps etc onto the other dash board monitors . When I switch to full screen mode it's unplayable. Fps goes to almost none. It's def a sweetfx issue because if I disable it I lose my graphics that enhances but play in fullscreen all day long 40-50 fps. Why can't I run fullscreen with sweetfx enabled. Thanks you in advanced for any ideas on how to fix this.

I am looking unsuccessfully, for a new gadget or app, which is completely new & very useful. Every new device or app you see is only a very slight improvement on an existing one. Last month I physically searched England, France & Australia, to no avail! Come on inventors! What about a real time web cam, which is on a real airliner, so you can follow the view from home! So I am in the process of adding add-on airports and I was going to get a bunch from FS dreamteam. However each time I try to DL one of the files it sets off my virus protection. Should I just disable it and re download these files or are these in fact not safe files?

Hello, After reinstalling FSX I only have sound in windowed mode, the menu music and menu clicks work fine but in full screen I have no sound. As soon as I hit alt+enter I have sound in windowed mode. Anyone have a clue as to why I have no sound in full view mode? Ive never had this problem before. No hardware changes. Thanks

Hi, someone told me Digital Aviation was working on a CRJ, but all I don't see any progress from them. They say they are in Beta Testing, but it's been since 2010. Has the project been cancelled? I hope not, a crj for FSX is desperately needed.. Thank you.

I own and greatly enjoy the Milviz Beech Baron B-55, but as with nearly everyone these days, I am wondering if I am getting the greatest amount of enjoyment possible. Can anyone--probably someone who already owns both--give me a comparison between the two Barons, Carenado and Milviz? I am most interested in the hand flying ability of the Carenado. Thanks guys

Hi, I have been looking for a decent button controlled ATC for FSX, Have been trying pro.atcx for a while but that software is pretty far from being finished and usable. So... Most of the time im flying without ATC,but every now and then I get the urge to have someone talking to me (I am flying online as well so those "Flying online is the only good" comments are not needed... But the last time I used FSX-default ATC I noticed a problem... that all over the world FS uses 18 000 feet as the transition altitude... I am mostly flying in Europe so Im wondering if its possible to change the default transition altitude in FS? for the ATC Thanks:)

I have read the threads in the forums on this topic but have a question not covered. I currently have FSX Deluxe with SP1 + SP2 installed and having a problem with the view of the PAPI lights from the cockpit giving wrong perspective and have tried to repair camera.cfg but no joy and also tried reinstall of SP2 and no joy. I have therefore decided to uninstall SP2 and SP1 and then run the FSX repair from the DVD. My question and concern is that when I added various addons over the course of time, several of them updated certain system files and DX files that seem to have been downloaded from Microsoft site (?). Hi everyone, so before I start, I would just like everybody to know that I have read the many topics on how most think setting fps to a locked setting like 30 is best, but for me, unlimited has always been best, and in areas of high fps like 100+, I always lock them at 30. Anyway, to my question. Recently I have been having an issue with unlimited frames in my fsx. Normally somewhere like FlyTampa TNCM I will use unlimited and get probably 40+ in the cockpit of the NGX, now though I can barely manage to stay above 30 in a default aircraft in unlimited mode. How hard can we make this? I have created two lua files and they are in the FSX/Modules directory. I have added them in the [Auto] section of the fsuipc.ini file and no matter what I do, I can't see them in FSUIPC. Why? What do you have to do to get FSUIPC to see them?

I just added Florida to my Illinois and Colorado sceneries. When I start up FSX, I get error message Scenery CFG. file missing scenery area 117 not found. The Florida file is in same directory as the other two. What am I doing wrong? Thanks S. Sumner

Well, I know the title has a lot in it. Forum mods, feel free to move this if I'm in the wrong place. Anyway, I have the Opencockpits Boeing MCPv3/EFIS and would like to use it with the Aerosoft Airbus Extended X. I have downloaded the LUA script for the AAX from the LINDA forum. What I am thinking I can do is just use this existing LUA script's functions with this hardware via SIOC/FSUIPC/virtual joystick/buttons. I can get SIOC to "press" a virtual joystick button in FSUIPC. I was using just the FD button for the AAX as a starting point. Hi all, just wondered if anyone else may have come across this issue. This only started after I installed the RealAir Beech 60's. Sometimes, after awhile, I would go to a click spot to change something and the mouse pointer would not change to the hand so nothing could be changed. I emailed RealAir and was told to reset the flight. This seemed to work. So I thought this was only related to the Beeches. I have now got the A2A C172 and I have had a few flights in it. I hope I can post this subject here, so that I can get the opinions of a broader cross section of people: Just about 3 years ago, I gave VOX ATC a try on their 7 day free trial offer, but unfortunately, I was using UT2 and just could not get it to work with VOXATC even with the UT2 bridge tool. TURBINE DUKE and PISTON DUKE Cockpit sound package now available.Just re-posting here because this has been posted inside another post and I am not to sure that most have seen this.As you can see I have added sounds to most switches inside the DUKE and covered most and it should make a little difference.Yes I know most of these sounds might not be Authentic..
