Topic says it all.I tried clicking in the blank are and nothing happen.The scenery path does show in the box below.If I click OK it blue highlights the path.Have tried clicking blank area before and after clicking OK.I did search and read the fix suggestion.Thanks,Ron

Hi gents, a 1am thought: is there something like a shoutcast plugin for FSX, to listen to internet radio while flying? (obviously with ATC integration, to the music gets muted on radio traffic )

Hi Guys, I'm new to the board and recently got a copy of the ifly 737. I am having an annoying issue with it which is causing me much frustration. Whenever i go to use the FMC to enter my flight plan it will only allow me to enter one letter, everytime i add another letter it replaces the old one :huh: . Apart from this the aircraft runs beautifully but as you can imagine a 737 without an FMC is quite useless. :unsure: Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks :mellow:

Quick question....are these that much better than the basic VC textures? Worth the purchase? I find the basic VC pretty good but if the UHDT cockpit is that much better then I'm interested. Thoughts on the freighter package with the blue UHDT cockpit? This is a very nice aircraft. Thanks for any replies. Dave

Getting back in to FSX. I have a 23” wide screen LG monitor I use. I also have a few extra 15” in the closet. Because of the large desk I have, the monitor sits about 3’ from my seat. As I get older the little numbers in the gauges are harder to read. Although I would love to use the extra 15” for front and side view I think a (much) larger screen would work good too. Any thoughts?? Thanks

Hello everyone, I would like to ask if Fly tampa grenadines and ftx global can be installed together. I just purchased the Fly Tampa Buffalo which gives me 50 percent off of Flytampa Grenadines. Unfortunately I have read conflicting reports as to whether FTX global and Flytampa Grenadines work together. Don't have FTX global yet, but plan to purchase it once my new system arrives! I apologize if this has been answered before, but I can not really come to a firm conclusion after reading some of the information out there. It looks like you have to use a Merge utility which may or may not work? Thanks in advance! B.

The FSX is in (X86 ) Program under Microsoft Games. After installing EZDOC, I noticed It's not in FSX , but is in the (X86) Program outside of FSX. Is that ok or dose it HAVE to be right inside of FSX .When given the option, I've chosen FSX , but after installation it's not in FSX. The files look simalar to this; (X86 ) Program ( EZDOC is here ) EZDOC Microsoft Games …

Just until recently, i've been hearing background ATC talking, it's not FSX atc, it sounds like real life ATC Chatter but in the game... Has FSX always had this and I just noticed it right now 0_o? It usually happens while parked and on the ground, or that's the only time I can hear it. Is this an add-on I downloaded accidently? Any method to remove it?

hi, i was flying in fsx. i was at fl35 with a speed hold of 265 kias. when i looked it said the ground speed was only 265 knots!! I don't know how to fix this to make it show kias instead of gs. BTW the atlimeter was set correctly and the mach setting was off. ANY HELP??????

Sorry in advance if this is a repeat. I promise that I searched for a while before I chose to post this. I have purchased some MSE V2 states, and I am excited to fly them! My question: How do I get the navigation aids to match the updated scenery? For example, Flying Cloud Airport in Eden Prairie, MN (KFCM). The VOR has moved across the street, the runways changed, and the ILS is setup... Any suggestions? Even if it is a tedious manual effort. At least I could get my favorites setup correctly. Is there a file to copy fs keyboard and button assignments to new install?I tried FSX\controls\standard.xml and did not seem to work.I also have FSUIPC and copied ini file and that did not work.However,I did neglected to delete assignments in FS that may be duplicated in FSUIPC.Thanks for any help.Ron

There are some FSGenesis add-on sceneries that need to be activated by FSX that are sitting within the add-on scenery folder yet FSX sees no files there. When I back out and manually go into the file in question, all the files have a .bgl extension. They are there, FSGensis put them in there automatically and according to the docs is says to find the folder (which FSX does) and click "OK". When I do that it simply brings up the scenery folder within and says there are no matching items. How can FSX show an empty folder and yet when I go look it's loaded with the files? One more reason I just find MSFS series to be way too high maintenance.

Anyone have some to share or care to upload to the Library? Looking for mainly FSX Accel default ones.

For anyone searching for the ultimate tweak for FSX, add these lines to your fsx.cfg: [RELIGION] God = Nick N. Devil = J.V. As always, dependent or your hardware, your mileage may vary so if this doesn't work for you, just reverse the entries. Dave.

I want to have all my airplanes from old computer transferred to new and eliminate the default commercial planes.So,I moved the airplane and gauge folder to a safe location and copied my backups to new install.Got the fatal error message.Deleted those 2 files and copied originals back and all is fine.Is there another way to accomplish my goal?Thanks,Ron.Also I copied my standard.xml file to controls folder hoping to keep my keyboard assignments etc but that did not work either.I am expecting shortcut miracles?Thanks,Ron

Lately I've been thinking about the aircraft around the world that deserve a good representation in FSX but never got one. I was curious about what you all thought or would hope to see one of these days. My list mostly involves military jets that I'd buy in a heartbeat.. If they were made into something worthwhile. Hello, I have encountered a problem in FSX that I havent seen before. At KCRE today my ground textures around the airport were water textures and if I went off of the taxiway or runway the plane would sink as if it was an ocean or lake. Its like the airport is floating on water all buildings, taxiways, markers and runways are there. All other airports around the area were as they should be. The only thing I have added since this has happened is FS Global Americas but with exception of the random floating house I havent had any probelms until now. CFG. is free of tweaks. Also running FTX Global, REX (textures) and UTX. Thanks

Greetings all, I've got fscopilot and fsinn installed on the FSX machine.. and the entry in the fsx config files etc.. I disabled Fwinn from loading on the FSX machine (i dont think i made any other changes in fscopilot on the fsx box) I then installed fscopilot and fsinn on the remote laptop.. I run the control panel (traffic signal app).. everyything seems to autodetect fine. I was able to configure the FSInn UI to connect to vatsim on the laptop. The goal here was to keep everything on the laptop, while still using the microphone, headset on the main FSX machine and minimizing any possible FPS impact. hi guys I am very frustrated..i downloaded dx10sf and now like my jetways are not showing completely, don't get me wrong it is a great product. it fix all my problems just I need back my jeways,, I have tried everything but I think its something in the cfg file...it is showing the beginning of the jetways but not the end part that connects to the aircrafts and this is happeing in all my major airports..can anyone please help me. this is the only place I could come for help cause the dx company does not have a forum please respond. ima see if I can show yall a picture of whats going on.

I have the FDS overhead. For the last two weeks it has been dead and does not light up when the Master Switch is turned on. I am using it in conjunction with PM Systems. In PM Systems the master switch does not move although the battery switches do. PM Systems does not show the battery readings either. Help would be much appreciated.

Hi I have recently bought a Backup utility that will create a "clone" of the Pc. The thought of having to reinstall fsx and windows just fills me with dread now I have quite a few add on's and have finished "changing settings " for the last year and am finally doing some flying without getting obsessed with settings! Now I have 2 hard Drives on my PC 1 for Windows 7 and anything else (2TB - only about 600MB used) the other solely for FSX,(250 gig SSD) I have 2 1TB USB Drives to back up to. You can only "clone" one drive to one USB drive When I "clone" the drive it will wipe everything from the USB drive. Now is it ok to do this "Clone" the main …
