Hey guys, can someone help me with this. I recently registered my copy of FSUIPC and programmed my controls through it instead of FSX and whenever I switch to the virtual cockpit, I get this. Is there a way to disable this? This only shows in the virtual cockpit view.

Hi all. Are there any big AFCAD packs that are recommended? I'm running all the stock airports and obviously a few places are lacking. I'm mostly interested in UK/Europe, and it only needs to be the more popular destinations.

Am looking for more roads being represented in FSX, not just major highways. Is there an add-on that does this? I've been looking at FTXG and GEX but not sure if this is what am looking for. (although could for future purchase). Thanks.

I'm running Windows 8.1 and using FSUIPC to calibrate my ch yoke and pedals.. The only part I cant figure out the proper way to calibrate is the pedals at this point.. without calibration I have the old issue i had before where after returning to center from pushing the left pedal.. it stays a little left of center.. which causes the plane to drift/bank left (you can see this visually too and in the ch calibration tool).. so previously to counter this i think i used a dead zone of 50%.. Since now using the FSUIPC interface i'm not sure if thats set by the max/min areas.. unclear on what pedal i should press for max/min and how to establish a dead zone per say to …

Flagship my operating system is Windows 7 64 - bit version of my CPU is E1230V2 quad-core eight threads, GTX560TI graphics card, 1600 dual channel 8 gb of memory, after the optimization is still low frames could you tell me what are the optimization plan, everyone USES a high frame in the plug-in airport? Completely open and artificial intelligence machine? Of optimization scheme, thank you!!!!!

I'm searching around for new EMB settings. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction? I am also running Shade for FSX. If anyone has any Shade settings that they particularly prefer, I would be glad to see them also. Thanks in advance.

Hi Stehpen, my Buttkicker and SB- X-Fi Go Pro justed arrived and installed, but unfortunately the SB Xi is not listed in the ButtKicker Device list (OpusFSX_v334_Beta). In Windows and FSX, the SB X-Fi is detected as a Sound-Device. Any Idea? Regards

don't know if anyone can answer this question while i'm waiting for uk2000 to get back to me but I'm trying to adjust stands and airline placement for egll v2 from uk2000 using ade9x but i'm a little unsure about which of the 2 files to change or if its both that must be used, they are 1.egll_AFX_UK2xGEN.bgl and 2.egll_AFX_UK2xTRM.bgl From what I can see file 1 seems to be the general layout with stands,and file 2 has the same layout but with airlines added to the stands so if I am going to add stands and then airlines which one do I use,or do I have to create them in both files thanks

Hello Ladies and Gentleman After much deliberation (and a good discount), I bought XDisplay to use with FSX. The problem I'm having is, as soon I move any panel (even the default Cessna GPS) to the IPad my FPS drops to 1. I close the panel, the FPS return to normal. Does any have successfully used XDisplay with FSX? Note; I'm aware of the bug with NVidia cards, and I successfully applied the workaround. The thing is if I use this method, the lag is too much. I've seen a video on YouTube of a Guy using with almost any lag. Thanks for any help I can get. Regards,

If you had to pick one airport as your absolute best airport in fsx which one would you choose and why? Please do not post answers like anything by X company etc. List only your ultimate top airport and why you selected it. You may list runner-ups, but the point is to list your favorite. Right now my current favorite is likely flightbeam's kiad. The main attraction to me is the looks of it. Also, it is fairly easy to taxi on and hard to get lost. Unfortunately I do not run many flights there. I do tend to use fsdt kjfk a whole lot since that is my hub. I enjoy klax from fsdt as well, so those would be my runner's up.

I will be going to the aviation shop in the next few weeks and I'm just completing my list of things to purchase. One of them will be the PMDG 747 for FS9 and FSX. I was browsing their website and noticed that for the 747, it says Win XP Only (For FS9, and XP and Vista for FSX). Can anybody confirm if both versions work under Win7? Thanks

The biggest problem I have with terrain in FSX is how unrealistic the Midwest looks from high altitude. Uniform tiles repeating as far as the eye can see. Does Global help disguise the repeating effect? FSAltitude looks pretty good at altitude (the dry lakes in Australia look amazing) but is pricey for worldwide coverage, and when you come down, you still have the lackluster default terrain. You are also stuck with one season, and occasional glitches like snow where there shouldn't be.

I would appreciate help with this problem, I experienced for the first time today. I am running FSX Sp2, my rig has 16Gb of DDR3 RAM, and the display card is a , Nvida 660 TI boost. No problem with video display in other programs. When I started FSX this evening, Everything was normal, except for the colours it displayed, it started in 16bit and not 32. I went in settings display, changed it back.to the normal 1920x1280 32 colours, which I use. restarted FSX, same problem.. Tried 3 times. In my last job I also taught in our simulator, and would save this "treat" as my students' graduation present after they passed their Q400 PIC checkrides and LOFT, as there usually was 20-30 minutes left of sim time booked for us. During training I would use this airport as a tool to demonstrate the EGPWS enhanced escape maneuver, having the students simply take off blindly and recover when directed by the warning system. Hello , My first plane that i bought was the Aerosim 787(love this plane). I had installed it (new pc , win8) and when i tried to fly the 787 it didn't work and it crashed , tried again but fatal error again. So i tried to uninstall the plane but now when i end the flight it crash. With some planes it crashes even when i start (like 737 en Boeing F-18 (or something like that)) What can i do? Is there something wrong whit my fsx.cfg file or?? Who can help me? Does OpusFSX use the cloud coverage in Canadian METARs after RMK? i.e. METAR CYHZ 031700Z 34008KT 15SM -SHRA FEW015 FEW030 OVC048 02/01 A2995 RMK SF1SC1NS6 SLP148= I thought I read somewhere that OpusFSX doesn't look at anything after RMK in METARs. Thanks, Mike

Maybe I'm missing a configuration somewhere but when I'm flying the Dash-8 the scenery jumps and quite often when banking the horizon matches the bank angle of the aircraft which makes the turns more like a slide. It jumps back to normal in a few seconds. None of my other aircraft affect the scenery except this one. Could this be related to the aircraft bounce issue on the ground? Any ideas? Rick

I'm trying to open my FSX Config. File. When I try, a pop up that reads; Internet explorer with the options to open or save, either way, it doesn't open to see the contents.

I had discovered a glitch that is only seen in the downtown Seattle area in FSX. It's been there for a while, since last year, and I first thought it was a bad ORBX PNW install. But when I disable PNW, I still see it in the default scenery. I recently built a new system and ran a fresh reinstall of the OS and FSX, and I was hoping the issue would disappear, but alas, it's still there. Addons are Orbx global 1.10, and UTX USA, and FS Global 2010. Has anyone seen anything like this? To confirm, only Seattle has this anomaly.

Hello all, this is my first post. I hope im not breaking any rules by posting this. I am getting lots of texture glitches lately and I have no idea what could be causing them. I run FSX in DX10 mode because I get a lot more frames. The thing is I was never seeing this before. its just recent. I think I may have done some fsx.cfg tweaks. I have tried everything.
