Hi all, I am looking at upgrading from the default ATC, which does not handle SID/STAR. I have tried saving the flight plan with SID and STAR inserted from AivlaSoft EFB and then loading it in FSX to use with the default ATC, but no luck. I have seen reviews so far with VOXATC, RC4 and PRO-ATC but got no definite answers, these add-ons are expensive and reviews have been mixed in term of their effectiveness. Do you have comparative experience to share? In addition, if I were to stay with the default ATC, how do I use it with tube liner using SID/STAR? Hi, I recently changed my motherboard and had to reinstall Windows 7, but when I tried to activate FSX again I got: "You have exceeded the number of times you can activate this product with the key used." Is there anyway I can get it activated? I tried doing it by phone but it didnt work

I own the realair legacy and am strongly considering getting the realair duke and the a2a c172. My questions revolves around the value of gps addons and which is the best path to go. Since I primarily fly the 737ngx, 777 and dash 8 I never had to worry about dealing with the default gps. I am now getting into GA aircraft as a way to sharpen my flying skills, so I would likely want to do ifr flights with the GA aircraft as well as vfr. I had been looking at the reality xp guages, but the price was astronomical and I have read there is no support offered for those products anymore. I have also started reading about Minstar Garmin GNS530/430, which seems like a better price …

I'm trying to decide which plane to get the A2A c172 vs the realair duke v2. I have bigger pmdg jets and I have the majestic dash 8. I also have the realair legacy. I'm looking for a plane for short hops that I can sharpen my skills with. Which of the two would be the best fit?

My slew speed has slowed down to what seems to be 1-2 knots where before i could go lightspeed forward backward etc. Anyone know how to change it? TIA

Has anyone figured out how to get the CS-737 to fly a route created by the ISG FMS? I have been trying to get it to work but a lot of the instructions are confusing. I can get the FMS in the aircraft via pop up windows (which I am happy with; I'm not trying to get them integrated into the VC). I just don't know how to get it to fly the route.

I don't know how everyone else feels about this, but I find the included VC views for things like the pedestal and fe panel to be in need of a bit of adjustment, due to both the perspective and zoom level. So I've come up with an edit that not only modifies the views, but also re-orders them and adds a few more. So starting with your normal pilots VC view and clicking through the views using A and shift A, I next have the pedestal, lower FE panel, upper FE panel, overhead, right seat (corrected view-not zoomed out) and jump seat. To me at least, having the pedestal as the first view when clicking A is most useful. I'm likely to want to use the radios and AP far more…

Hey guys! I know there are some very talented people out there! So if anyone is able to help me with this problem, i'd be very happy! How can the pitch/lift behavior of an aircraft be edited? The plane i'm working with tends to lose lift while banking and pitch up quite extremly especially when flying lower speeds ending up in a constant pitch up - pitch down movement. Is this coded in the model itself or can it be edited via the .cfg/air files? Any help very appreciated! And many thanks in advance! Tom

Hello! So my problem is the following. I program all my hardware with FSUIPC. If something doesn't work (in my case the Saitek Rudder Pedals), the I program it with FSX. The thing is my PC (specs on profile) detects my joysticks, but FSX doesn't. Sometime when FSX does detect the joysticks, FSUIPC doesn't or vice versa. The problem with FSUIPC and my rudder pedals is that, I assign it to Rudder through "Send to FSUIPC calibration". Good, now in my AIrbus X when I give it full left it sometimes doesn't respond but if I give it full right it will. And the only way to take it out of full right is slamming full left. I can't get the rudder to run smoothly so if I gi…

So I got the Airbus X, in the real world the max speed is 470 IAS. But in FSX its only 340. So I got to aircraft.cfg change the max to 470 but nothing changes. What could be the problem? I did save aircraft.cfg.

After much testing, for some reason when activating opus my aircraft freeze when I remove my hands from the stick eg, a 60 deg angle of bank will stay there BUT the aircraft doesn't turn, it just flys along happily whilst tilted, same with climb and descend. The jets are not to badly affected, its just thr GA stuff Is this a known issue? I find it hard to believe myself but disconnecting opus causes the planes to function normally. Any ideas whats going on?

hello, ive tried to download the sp2 for fsx to use some addons. but it gave a language error like: you need to have english version of flight simulator x. i downloaded the sp1 normally but sp2 doesnt work. please help Kerem

good day not want to start a flame ware between the products please. However I have UT2 and am building ( almost finished ) my dedicated flightsim pc. what would you recommend; - install UT2, or WOAI2, or combined? looking for realistic and good looking models, -I know you can disable the daedelus carriers from ut2. - I prefer realistic flight schedules. Is it aesy to combine ut2 with woai? Is it possible? Maybe someone using both can give some info. What I really would like to see working is the slider for the amount of traffic, not sure if this is possible with WOAI?

I am wondering what instructor station software is popular with FSX. I can't find to much info on the web about this topic. I have tried Instructor Station of Luis Gordo but it starts with an error message right away (Windows 8). I also noticed FS Instructor. That also looks promising to me. Is there anybody with some advice about what a good candidate might be?

Hello to all and good Day I hop i am in the right Section , for my Problem I have windows 7 home 64 X on a SSD and FSX on my 500 HDD . I want to Buy a New hard drive and put all my FSX and only FSX on the new HDD , because i have all my Downloads and fsx and every thing els on the old HDD and i think this is slowing down Performance , i do have the Old HDD into 4 portions and fsx is alone in one of the Portions My Question is will it help fsx if i put it on a fresh new HDD ? and how can i move FSX with out installing every thing From scratch i have many addons and i dont want to go that Route Thanks to all

Is there a way of saving the sound sound devices chosen in fsx? Each time I start fsx I have to re-assign the sound device to headphones.

Hi all-I'm getting my new hotas set up with FSUIPC and all is going pretty well. What I'm trying to do and can't figure out is how to assign the hat switch on this thing to external spot view like I used to be able to do within FSX with my old Saitek X52 (I'm using fsuipc to assign all controls to the hotas and I've unchecked 'Enable controllers' in FSX. Can someone point me in the right direction?Thanks,Mark
