Hi All, I did a FSX reinstall and everything installed just fine except the CS 732. Going from free flight and choosing the 732, it shows up but the whole thing is dead. Switches don't move, gauges don't lite up, nothing. After doing all the things mentioned in CS forums, I submitted a ticket and got their usual personized customer service, referrring me to a knowlege base item that instructed me to repair either SP2 or Acceleration. Before the reinstall I had SP2. Had those issues mentioned. I did my FSX reinstall using Accereation and had the same problem. My question is, has anyone ever done a repair on acceleration and had adverse effects. I'd hate to mess up anyt…

I see that FScene is on sale for $19.95. Is it a worthwhile addon and what are some of the pros and cons of it? Jim

The checklist for the propellwe governor test requires the power levers to be advanced to a point when the Np governs at 70%. Although I have the parking brake set, when I advance the power levers to achieve 70% Np, the aircraft accelerates quickly and I find myself in places I shouldn't be. Have I missed something that would prevent this unwanted behaviour?

Hello friends How the PFPX know that kind of weather i used inside FSX ( or even using onlinr weather in REX ), how it know that to put them in the flight plane when i plane my flight using it ? Thx.

Have spotted elsewhere that "Airbus x" has been updated to 1.16. However my version is 1.22 already. Are they being lazy and they actually mean the "Airbus X extended" or am I missing something? I am easily confused ! Cheers

Hey all, I re-installed all the WOAI packages, including the newly updated AA, Delta, United etc... However there seems to be a problem with some aircraft, mainly A319, A320 and B737 having completely black textures. I have looked into the aircraft folders and it has the textures as ".dds" instead of ".bmp" like they should be. Does anyone have any idea what i should do? my first thought is to converter the images to ".bmp" but i wanted to run it by you guys in case you came across this problem before and had a solution? Wondering if any of you have seen this problem along the coastline in parts of Europe. I'm using FTX Global with UTX under DX10 (although same problem in DX9..) In the first pic I have this odd line and cut-off scenery in the water (this is above Dubrovnik in Croatia). I can't get rid of this line or scenery cutoff despite shuffling the scenery priority around. The other problem is - with UTX ENABLED - Dubrovnik disappears(!) leaving me with just trees and background tiles. The second pic shows what happens when I disable UTX. Dubrovnik reappears but the white line and cutoff scenery remains. Any ideas as to what is causing it and how I could fix i…

I am going to do new install on new computer.Is there a way to copy the scenery library to it?Then I would edit it as necessary for payware addons.Thanks,Ron

Hey guys, I like flying the default F-18, however I do not like the autopilot that much, is there a way to get better interface for it? I can use the hdg,alt and spd hold bugs, but I do not see the value, except for the heading. I would like to see what altitude is the autopilot holding or going to as well as the speed, because right now with the alt and spd holds im just guessing. If it is possible to have some better interface where I could see the values through some mod or addon, that would be great. Thanks

You made a grown man almost cry. For a loooong time ive had to struggle with a weather engine for Fsx that never got the winds right. No matter what I tried, it was not correct according to published metars. I heard about Opus FSX since when it came out, and I regret that I did not jump ship earlier.. You nailed everything.. The winds, the temps, the rain.. Just awesome. Thank you. However. As the other wx-engine was thrown out the window, something changed after Opus was installed. So I did my first YouTube video recording with FSX last night (haven't edited the footage yet) but I was very happy with the departure from FlyTampa's Chicago Midway. I was pretty much pegged 25+ FPS while recording with FRAPS with full detail and heavy traffic. The flight was smooth but things turned ugly as I got into the pattern to land at KIAD. Slowly the FPS started to creep down from 30 pegged to 29, 28,27 and on and on until I was on final with the airport in sight and the FPS dent down as low as 14 and stayed below 20 the entire time. I have Windows 8. Went to Flight One, downloaded EZCA. Tried to open the folder in Windows 7,XP, with the UAC up and down. Went to AVG , put EZCA in as an exception, still won't open. Let me add that I can open other downloads. What am I missing?

Hey guys i know this is not the right topic or anything but i am buying a flight simulator x but i see people talking about sp2 and 1 and stuff. i bought the pmdg planes and stufff on cd just here waiting till my computer comes. i dont feel like having to download a sp2 or 1. can yall just tell me which flight simulator to get that has the latest sp on it and that will run my payware planes without a prob thanks ! I just did a major computer upgrade including a new mother board and gfx card. As all who have done this knows, what follows that is a couple days of reinstalling gobs of software. There are many "how to re-install FSX" topics around, and I trust all have seen them. One of the reoccurring problems I've seen is EZDok no longer works, or wont work correctly with (or without) TrackIR. In my case, I'm stuck in the pilot seat. Trying to cycle to next cam only moves you back a little, or you cycle in stock cam views. Hi guys I switched denitly to DX10 and am very happy with it. I also own Shade and want to try SweetFX because I know that ENB Series work only on DX9. 1) are there performance issues with SweetFX, or did you experience CTD or other stuff? This may be a bit out there, but, can I use Pro- Atc for the atc only without including there flight plan's? I would like to use PFPX which I;ve been using for quite a while so I would like to use PFPX flight planning but use Pro-Atc purely for the ATC interaction so is this possible? Cheers Rod.

I have completed and am in the final stages of testing a freeware scenery package for the Dayton International Airport in Vandalia, Ohio. Like with many small to medium sized airports, the FSX rendition looks nothing like the real world version. I wish to use a second computer for flight tracking while flying in FSX, I wish to know of a program free or commercial, that will let me map out my flights as I fly and save the map and hopefully altitude info for viewing later. this computer will be hooked up wireless to my home network. I also wish to have a Garmin type GPS for my nexus 7 tablet, preferably one that looks like FSX's GPS 500 and G1000 and is functional like ingame, So I am wondering if there is something like that out for android tablets. Is it also possible to host game files on a second computer to streamline ingame graphics on the fsx computer?

I have the paid version of FSUIPC but my configuration and profiles are completely messed up. I recently installed A2A's new Cessna 172 and it's giving me problems I never before experienced in FSX. Although these are issues are specifically for A2A support I would like to completely delete my FSUIPC profiles but am finding it a bit of a challenge. Can anyone please help me with this???
