Hi, is it a way to dampen the horrible reflections from inside the canopy? It's far to mutch of it, I have trouble see details on ground when VFR flying. It is almost useless as it is now, otherwise it's a nice plane. GAK

Ok guys I just bought it. Pretty nice, but there is an issue that sticks out like a sore thumb (to me). Check these 3 screens, shot in succession as I made a turn into the late noon sun (a favorite time of the day to fly for many pilots obviously) In the third shot down, when the sun hits the center glass on the wind screen, I get this bright glaring cone of light eminating out of the center of the sun. Anyone else bothered by this? Its due to the particular texture used for that glass. Same thing happens with the Lancair Legacy by Realair, except in that case it happens looking out the sides of the canopy, and if you turn off dust and scratches the anomaly disappears. Go…

It's such a beautiful model it deserves those small fixes.. or so I believe! Going outside there's a seem problem that looks like z-fighting (you need to check that live). The levers and other chrome parts.. they need to be less glossy and more chrome like.. hard to put the finger on it but I think it's mainly too glossy.. I mean it looks almost like a material without texture if you know what I mean. Btw, I'm not sure but maybe it can use few more polys. The aircraft is incredibly smooth so there might be extra room for adding that extra detail. other problem is the strobe light: It's way too strong.. I think using a light texture like the one…

Appreciate there is a Majestic forum, but I am at work on my break and cant remember my password for that, and Avsim is burned into my brain. I love this plane since purchasing at the Flight Sim show at Cosford ,(even more now I've got it working in Air hauler!) but I am still a real novice, and most of the time hand flying it with a bit of help from the Autopilot. I am having a big problem with the QWSim 757. I set my plane up for takeoff using a checklist. I checked everything and set the trim. I line up on the runway, and set takeoff thrust. When my plane reached 75 knots, it automatically pitched to 50 degrees nose up pitch while the main gear was still on the ground. This made the tail drag the entire runway. The plane finally got airborne, but wanted to pitch up more. I have tried takeoff without trim at all, but it still does the same exact thing. Pitching up extremely before speed even reaches V1. Before it even gets to 80 knots. What is causing this? I have checked the balance and the plane is not tail heavy at all. I have …

Hi guys! As you may know, Berlin, the capital of Germany, has two major commercial airports, Tegel (EDDT) and Schönefeld (EDDB). Schönfeld is currently being rebuilt and extended and will eventually form Berlin Brandenburg airport (still EDDB). When the extension is finished, EDDT will close. I'm currently using WOAI for my AI aircraft, and if possible, I would like to move all AI traffic from EDDT to EDDB. Can it be done?

How many of you use a joystick for the NGX, and how is it? My saitek yoke recently broke, I didn't like it that much anyways, so I was considering re-buying my old logitech 3d joystick, or snatching an x52. I haven't flown the NGX with a joystick though, how is it? Is it better in your opinion flying it with a joystick than a Yoke? Thanks

Hello All - Just when I thought I had everything in order... I decided to have a night flight around NYC to check out the Orbx Global lighting. Somewhere along the way I ended up losing my water around the city. Help please... I have FTX Global, a few FTX NA scenery, UTX USA, UTX Europe, and all the FS Genesis mesh. I only have one non payway scenery "KPHL". I am hope that someone will spot something obvious in my scenery library.... Thanks! Daniel

First of all I want to say that almost a year I am using OpusFSX and for me this is by far the best addon in its category. But only, I would say, irregularity occurs when there is reduced visibility reported on destination airport. Is that so often mentioned FSX limitation, my OPUS settings or something else. To be clearer, I attach screenshots and OPUS Weather file. I paused FSX, done screenshot and copied OPUS Weather file when screenshot is taken. My OPUS version is 3.34.0. FSX has been crashing about 50% of the time. Sometimes it will happen when I'm looking at instant replays. Sometimes when I change the settings in FSX. There are times when EZDOC Cameras shut down and FSX continues to run.I know that FSX is in the (x )Program, but everything is in Windows 7 compatability mode. I am looking at buying either the PMDG 141 or the upcoming Aerosoft Twin Otter Extended. Which one would be better? I was looking at making long flights so I would need a prop that could fly long distances into small airports. I own several PMDG aircraft and own the Airbus X extended so I don't know which one would be best. Any input?

Is it at all possible to get permission to establish a temporary support forum for PRO-ATC/X here at AVSIM? We (PATC users) have not had a reliable working support forum for some time now. In fact it has been down more than working for several days now and it has not been up all day today. This software is in a position right now, of being workable for most, but under some limited conditions and requiring various work a rounds from time to time. There are many new users that are not aware of these work a rounds etc and rely on interaction on a support forum that, when it is working, does not provide a functioning search facility. I was sitting at my computer and then I saw a flightbeam ad on the top of the AVSIM webpage. The ad featured KSFO, KPHX, and KIAD but then said KDEN coming soon. IS this true or is this outdated advertising? And did I do anything wrong posting this...?

I do not want to open a long discussion on what ATC is better. Each has its pros and cons. But one thing that is still unsurpassed in ATC default FS2004/FSX, in my opinion, is the quality of the voices and the realism. Now, since it is going to be released P3D 2.0, and then the ATC source code is available for LM developers, do you think could be finally developed a good default ATC with SID / STARs and AIRAC upgradeable, and with a voice quality equal or superior to that which we know? Hi, Is it just me who had problem to download some file from NL2000 (for V.4) server ? The resamples files seems ok, but others like manual, installer and airport give me errors at download attempt. Thanks, Michel

I was wondering if it is possible to use more than one CFG settings within FSX. Or better yet, how can I save-and switch between multiple CFG ? So, for a certain fligjht I want to use a specific CFG settings, and for another flight I want to use a set of CFG. Currently what I am doing is going into the FSX, delete the current one and copy and paste the other CFG I want; but this is a bit cumbersome to do over and over. My next question is: Is there a way to prevent the LOD settings from going back to default? Say, if I set it at 5.5, I want to keep it that way, but if I make a change within FSX, it goes back to default LOD.

Hi, How is it possible to remove certain colour schemes from an aircraft I download. Whilst I appreciate some developers put a lot of time and effort into making 20 schemes for a single aircraft, I really only want one or two and don't want my FSX aircraft selection folder to be as large. Which files do I delete within the aircraft folder to remove these schemes without creating any errors? Thanks FL630

Is there anything that can keep aircraft off the runway until after I have landed or better yet, better control the ai traffic than the default game does? I was within seconds of landing, I couldn't avoid the crash, when a jet decided to go onto the runway, is there anything out there that will keep this problem from happening in the future?

Brilliant aircraft across the board. Night panel lighting is way too bright. Is it possible to reduce the lighting? Thanks Rich Perry
