I apologize in advance if i am posting this in wrong forum. I am looking for a scenery airports for following airports and was wondering if people can point to right direction to reputable devs who did great scenery for these airports. payware of freeware would work. KDEN KSFO KLAX KPDX KORD KBOS EGLL EHAM I got burned few times with vendors that sell somewhat old or outdated products so before i plunge money wanted to findout what others say about any scenery's listed if there is good high quality products out there. Hi all, I just experienced a number of CTD's caused by ntdll.dll. I discovered the reason is most likely due to a recent update to MyTraffic 5.4b making it 5.4c. Burkhard is aware of the problem and is working to get it fixed. Here is a link to his support thread on the topic: http://forum.simflight.com/topic/75131-54c-ctd-problem-a-solution/page-3 I think the easy fix for now is to go back to 5.4b as the problem is apparently related to the 2013 schedule. Hello! So, my problem is that FSX doesn't show all liveries for the Airbus X. In fact, it doesn't show all the default planes! I did buy this boxed version 2009 and installed on 2 PC (Including the one im writing from). On the first PC everything worked. I did try the FIX when you run the CD but that didn't help.I did try different textures for the Wilco/FeelThere airbus but still - no change. I dont know why this happens and am need for help! I have tried to tune the ATIS frequency from an airport chart and it gives me nothing, Any ideas? Paul

I think these things are just meant to represent regular towers that may exist in reality.. but often them seem oddly placed and there are many of them in certain scenery areas.. usually non addon areas.. Anyone know their purpose, or is there something glitchy in my sim? (attached)

Hello, i recently re-installed FSX (brand new copy of game aswell) and i get a texture glitch after about 20-30mins of playing, these are the addons i run, and ran before the reinstall (it ran perfect when i had it before, and i had more addons before) -REX overdrive -Aerosoft dubai -aerosoft amsterdam -aerosoft munich -Uk2000 Gatwick -uk2000 heathrow -uk2000 manchester -uk2000 leeds -qualitywings 757 -qualitywings 146/RJ -AIrbus X Extended here is what glitch looks like: any help would be great:)

What drives me crazy some days is trying to keep all my add-ons up-to-date. Staying on top of updates, hotfixes, Service Packs etc. is a bit of a nightmare when the number of add-ons in your install base gets large (to say nothing of actually applying them). I propose that it would be a great service to the FSX community if AVSIM could offer a forum dedicated to add-on update announcements. No comments, discussion, etc. - just one place where vendors could announce their fixes and maybe post a link, and the rest of us could check in every once and a while and see what's come out. Just thinking out loud....

Is there a way of saving the sound sound devices chosen in fsx? Each time I start fsx I have to re-assign the sound device to headphones.

The program worked perfectly after I (finally) got it installed last year. Now however, when I bring it up in any airplane there is just the Black panel. So far I have reloaded the DBS Airport database, Uninstalled/installed, mo0ved it to an earlier entry in the dll.htm file....still no luck. After the latest reinstall clicking on the Arpt GPS in the ADD-On menu got the "ACTIVATE" window but clicking on it does nothing. I then put a saved copy of my .lic file back in the correct folder.. Now the same old blank Airport GPS panel pops up. DBS studios are very slow to respond and this problem has been ongoing for almost two weeks. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance …

Hi all. I just bought Flight Simulator X for myself, having played it previously on the computer of a former flatmate. However I liked to use the glass cockpits, which he had on his FSX and noticed right away that there are none. It didn't take me long to find out that I'd bought the standard edition and glass cockpits are only available in the gold edition (he must've had the Gold Edition) So my question is, is it possible to upgrade to the gold edition? I've not been able to see any kind of add-on pack available in the Microsoft store, or any other store for that matter, so it seems like the only option is to go out and buy the Gold Edition, which means I've…

Dunno why, but it happens lately... doesn't matter the aircraft. I'm flying away, then suddenly mid-air the control surfaces stop responding for like 20 seconds or so, then, it comes back. When it happens, the yoke and pedals do animate in the cockpit, but do not animated outside the aircraft. It's also causing a stall each time it happens. It's now gotten to a point where I can't keep using the sim normally. No clue what's wrong. I'm using an xbox 360 controller. I bet someone ran into this issue ? A forum error caused a double post. Hi I have noticed when flying default or 3rd party ( A2A C172 or Realair ) aircraft with normal 'round' instruments the Airspeed Indicator needle pulses about once every second. With AS2012 NOT supplying weather the ASI needle is stable, so I have posted a query on both the official HiFi and the un-official Avsim forums but have had no reply after 5 days on either, so possibly its not a AS2012 problem ?? Does anyone else have this problem and have they found a fix ? Thanks, Glen

Hi folks. I just downloaded and installed this great freeware airport available at another flightsim site. I really like the work done by this fellow. I am having some flashing of a few airport objects and the car parks are are flashing some as well. And in addition the cars on the car parks appear and disappear. I am working to see what might be causing this. Does anyone know offhand what might cause this? Bryan

Hello, Okay so recently I discovered AI and I think it's awesome. I love having all these different jets and airlines at the gates at all these airports. Only thing is.......seems like after I did all the AI addons my computer started coming up with all these "not enough memory" messages and now when I look at that pie graph that shows what's happening with your hard drive it's like MAXED OUT with very little free space left. Tried defrag but it doesn't seem to be doing much and this is after 2 days straight of defragging so I stopped it. Can't imagine that the AI files could have done this they didn't seem very large or at least I didn't think so. Any ideas? Si…

I do all my flying online with zero AI traffic in FSX but I guess this is the same regardless if the traffic is AI or online traffic. What I would like to know is if it's possible in FSX to configure at what range surrounding traffic will show up? I have the VATSIM pilot client configured to include traffic within 40 nm which is the same range I have the NGX TCAS configured to show traffic but often when sitting in the cockpit looking out it appears the traffic I see on my TCAS doesn't show up "physically" in FSX until about 10 nm. Of course it can often be hard to spot another aircraft at this range but I do use the red labels showing aircraft type etc to let me spot…

I'm having a strange problem with RealAir Legacy (and so far ONLY the Legacy). Almost always after about 20 minutes into flight (at cruise with AP on), I go thru what looks like WILD turbulance ... 100 mph winds bouncing all over the place and I'll go from FL70 to FL120 in a matter of a couple of seconds. There are no other heavy jets in the vicinity. After about 10 minutes of this crazy turbulence it'll return to normal 8KTS winds. As a test I ran the RealAir Duke thru same flight plan, same weather (FSGRW) and no issues at all, about a 8 KTS wind most of the flight. AccuFeel was running with both the Duke and the Legacy. Hi all i did some tests and i have about 90 fps in cockpit, but when i run UT2 fps drop down to 35-40. I know AI is ever hungry but it seems a very large amount of fps loss. Is this normal or i need some settings to limit this fps kill? Thanks

Hello all , My name is Chris , 38 live in Michigan , my story starts with FS2002 and continued on to FSX which is where i ended up quiting some years back . I recently found out about Prepar3d and gave it a try purchasing a lic . To find out i really found FSX to be much better . So with this said i redid my HD and got her ready for FSX once again and tbh im so glad i did , so many updates out now. One thing ill say is omg UTX USA and GEX NA really are not that good i was unimpressed with them so i spent the last 3 days messing with TileProxy 8b and fell in love once again . As an X-Plane user, I'm trying to figure out how the views work in FSX. Let me explain how I've set this up in X-Plane, and I hope there is an equivalent FSX way of doing things. I've printed out an FSX Keyboard Commands sheet and tried all the funky Ctrl-Shift-T and whatnots, but couldn't get it do what I want. :( To explain, I'm always in what I believe FSX calls Virtual Cockpit view (F9). I can pan around with my hat switch as I'm used to. So far, I've been unable to assign a key to "reset my view," so to speak. EZDOC was working fine untill I downloaded PMDG 737. During the installation there's a pop up that says to download Direct x, that failed. I currently have Direct X installed. Hi everyone! I am new here in the forums and new in the FSX thing. I’ve been "flying" with FSX for about 2 months now. From the day I started, I’ve tried to read some basic things about FSX. The most difficult part for me was to achieve smooth performance (everyone wants that). I must mention here that I have a mid-end computer (i5 @ 3.2-3.6GHz, and a GTX660 OC) and tweaking was inevitable in order to gain some performance, especially with some heavy add-ons like REX and FTX Global.
