I have tried everything to turn off the crash detection in FSX. I am flying the PMDG 737 NGX, and when I go to the settings menu and turn off the crash detection, it still detects crashes. I also have saved that as a file, and I load it in the flight, and it STILL crashes. I am having difficulty loading my -900 after setting up FS Passengers. When I change the payload to zero because the payload goes up to 154%, and try to reload the passengers, the nosewheel lifts off the ground, and when I load the passengers, the nose wheel comes down and crashes the plane. Please tell me what I have to do to get it to stop crashing.

The FSX airport data seems to be getting fairly long in the tooth (i.e. old) and getting worse over time. Seems like somewhere between half of the airports I fly into have something wrong... ILS frequencies wrong ILS has DME on the plate but not in FSX Middle markers not on the chart but FSX has one. Runway numbers incorrect (e.g. magnetic variation changes causing the number to change) Taxiways wrongly named. So, I am wondering: What is the easiest way to correct the info? What is the minimal amount of work? Is there a place to upload corrected airports so that they can be easily installed in groups, perhaps by region, by folks (or does this have to be a painful, one…

Has anyone made a new v2 checklist that would fit an aviation checklist page? (You know the plastic slip covers) something like this: http://www.flyboys.com/fligchec.html Lately I've been wanting phusical checklists for the planes that allow fairly realistic FSX procedures. I've got so many planes now I seem to have trouble keeping the flows/checks separate!

In X-Plane it's very easy to hit the C key to detach camera and use the arrow the keys and mouse to move freely around. I do this when I want to go around the scenery to take photos. Is there an equivalent method to accomplish this in FSX? I'm not use to all the camera modes and how they work but haven't really found a way to easily do this. This way I can get the perfect angle, height, distance for whatever it is that i intend to take a photo of.

First of all, I know there are going to be people that say "use the search function" or "been done to death", and of course I know that. The problem is, is that so much smack talk has gone back and forth, that I'm find I'm very little farther ahead than I am before. My only interest in iFly has to do with the P3D. I want to have fun with some formation flying using fsrecorder replays as traffic. I must record a flight first, then fly with that replay after, but it's not interesting when you know that the plane in front of you is, well, you. Is there any FSrecorder replays file deposit? Or if there isn't any, can someone upload few replay files with C172 or some GA plane? I'm just thinking, it would be fantastic if lot of users would like to share their replays here, that is perfect for simmers that don't fly online. Hello all, There as small anti-aliasing problem that has been bothering me for a little while. The problem is, that anti-aliasing does not seem to be applied to certain objects in FSX. For example, some knobs in the NGX (like the engine mode selectors and autobrake selector), some tree types (African trees), and the biggest problem: the white runway markings of the default runways, are not being anti-aliased. Only the part closely to your position is being anti-aliased, but the part in the distance looks quite jaggy. Custom runway textures are anti-aliased just fine by the way. Hi all. After I got the Twin Otter Extended, great aircraft by the way. I notice one thing. when moving on water, and the "splash" effect is shown, the FPS drops heavily. Is it possible to do anything about it? I don't feel like lowering settings since its only this effect. Suggestions?

So I installed the newest AI packs, (2013) all of the North American one's at least, and it didn't delete the older versions from the .cfg in each aircraft folder, so every time I start the sim I have to hold down "Enter" to shoot through all of the "already (such and such) in this .cfg, delete one" But going through about 100 .cfg and deleting the Flightsim.XX is just a lot of work, is there an easier way to do this?

I'm just sledding over to KORD at a cruise altitude of 2,800 to 3,500 feet ASL in the Kodiak Amphibian. I find this range of G.A. altitude gives me the best detail of the FSXG renderings and was wondering what others consider their favorite G.A. cruise range? BTW, I have to say, that I fly more virtual hours in the Kodiak (all models) when I think about it, than anything else in my G.A. hangar. This plane can fly at whatever altitude need's be for VFR/IFR and can carry 10 passengers in great comfort in its pressurized cabin, all at 182 knots. Hi, I'm new here and I really don't know where to post this thread. I just replaced the file " UIAutomationCore.dll " and when I started flying again, I can't see my "menu" where the options , addons , flights , aircraft and failures are found... If I press right click, nothing happens it usually show a drop-down... but now it doesn't show anything because I replaced "UiAutomationCore.Dll" because I replaced the .dll is this the cause? If it is, CAN SOMEONE upload the original " UiAutomatiocCore.Dll " ? even if it's not the cause could someone kindly upload it? Thanks.

I couldn't wait to try out the new computer so I just hooked up another TV to the computer haha and have begun installing things. I have installed FSX and am installing acceleration right now. My first question is should I tweak the FSX.config first and then install FS global 2010 and ORBX global? Or does it not matter which order I do the installs in?

Hi, Recently I installed Razer's Gamebooster per some forum recommendations to give it a try. So far, its seems to have helped with overall performance somewhat better than I was getting before. I recently saw an add for another booster program called FSX Booster 2013, but I know nothing about this program. Does anyone have any experience with either one and can they be run together, or does one work better than the other separately? Thanks. Tom

Hi all, All of a sudden FSX won't open, I click on it, the donut spins for a 20 seconds or so, then everything just dissapears. Tried running as administator. It's as if something is shutting it down, not allowing it to load. Any suggestions were I should start on this problem. Never had this happen before. thanks, Brian

Hello avsims There many systems that play with a one projector (or even screen) with at least 130 degree of view without adding another projector (or even screen). The problem is i try to decrease the initial zoom which is normal 0.30 in default fsx to less than this but fsx cannot read below 0.30 , i do that because when you decrease the camera zoon by pressing (-) button in your keyboard you will see more wider view normally. I am one of the simmers which they avoid using of multiple displays due to its performance hitting. Hi all, Well, I owned every MegaSceneryEarth state from Maine down to Delaware with the exception of Connecticut and the PC Aviator guys emailed me offering it for just £7 of my shiny pounds, so I caved in and bought it ....... seemed a shame to have the whole N.E coast, apart from Connecticut. :smile: I want to do a low and slow tour from Maine down to Delware, landing at one airport in each state. I've got a small problem with my FSX installation - at least two of my payware aircraft do not initialize properly when loaded. Support replies from both have suggested that my default simulator settings have got messed up. In one case, I was told and I need to do a new save of a default aircraft (a fully featured one - not the trike) 'cold and dark', and it was suggested that I need to set the mixture (which implies I need to use a piston aircraft for the default). In the other case, I was told to get their aircraft into a properly initialized & cold dark state (which I was able to do by frigging around with their configuration popup) and save that as my default. …

Hello (Apologies if this is the wrong area to post such a thing) I bought the Airbus X Extended yesterday, but only got round to trying it today. First impression is a promising aircraft that I would love to fly, with one major flaw. Unlike the NGX in which I get 22fps constantly (locked internally at 22) no matter where I am, the AXE likes to bring that down to 9 fps for some reason... The maximum fps I have been able to achieve with it so far is 12 fps............. I just wanted to ask if this is a known problem that other people have too, or if its just me, because right now, I'm back with the NGX untill some sort of HOTFIX has been created:/ sorry aerosoft...…
