Hi I installed FTX Global and have had some odd issues. The image below is a white texture at the start of a runway with a taxiway veering off into it and then just stopping. I've also had a road underneath a taxiway texture at Chicago and some airports where the tower and some building are on grass.

Hi, I used for a few years Friendly Panels FMC OK but, recently had to reinstall it in Lear45 & both CRJ & ATR panels appear with the bottom of it missing as per attached. Or should I ask how unrealistic ? I want realism and for the moment I fly the Real Air Legacy. Does a real world GPS exist that looks precisely like the default GPS ? I mean all buttons and knobs are correctly depicted ? Default unit has a good terrain map feature but is that realistic. It misses vertical navigation and terrain altitude awareness feature (like in Reality XP WAAS) but maybe there exist a real world unit that is like this ?

Hi all I thought I would start this here but could be used for pretty much any FS platform I have noticed that in fsx some airport runway take off or landings use the wrong ones either because the afcad file is wrong or because fsx just chooses the wrong one for example at EGLL (LHR) you sometimes are given 09L as the take off runway but in reality They VERY rarely use, if ever, use this runway for take off, similarly at EGKK (LGW) you sometime are given 08L or 26R which is only used in emergencies or if the main runway is out but I'm guessing again very rarely used . So, I had worked this up awhile back, but after downloading and installing 40+ paints for the superb AN-2, I found myself with motivation to finish it to a point where it might be useful to other people. I've personally found it useful, especially for adding paints to a plane when you already have 40+ paints installed. It also helps keep things rather tidy, which is, er, a 'fault' of mine. I do plan on uploading it to the library + a few other spots, but I thought I would spot a link here for anyone to try out if they wish. Hello.I have problem. this is my problem.yesterday I watched tutorial how to increase FPS and replaces some files and after that there is something like cliff,there was no like this there where smoother.Its Tbilisi freeware airport and I can't get support and is any solution?I uninstalled FSX and reinstall it but same.

hii everyone the thing is i got the fxaa effect in window mode looks really great but when i type alt ent to get full screen the effects does not work , why that ?! and the pause key either does not make any chance help plz

Hi there First of all, i love Opus and it is a must have for fsx for me now. I recently updated my Opus to the latest version, but for some reason now i am getting an issue with Ezdok. When the aircraft is at the gate it is fine, but as soon as i start to taxi it stutters heavy, from left to right, and is un-flyable. I shut Opus down and it was fine, Ezdok worked perfectly, but it has only happened since i updated Opus. Is there any fix or anything i am doing wrong?? Thank you Adam

There have been a number of airports released in the last several months, so I was curious of what people considered their favorite specific airports in light of all the new releases and how they standup against their older counterparts. I picked up two fligtbeam airports today KIAD and KSFO (much older). I love both, but I have found KIAD to be one of my favorite airports so far. I have not tried the new kphx and I noticed flytampa came out with an updated version of their st. marteen which I have not had a chance to check out yet.

Which database is better/more accurate Aerosoft navdata pro or Navigraph airac I have aivlasoft efb and have most of the pmdg aircraft and pfpx for planning flights thanks

hello guys.... I´m a german, I´m sorry about my english but i hope you understand me. I have a big problem with the Shadermod "sweetfx" :-( If I enable it (into the tool "FlightFX) or copy the "d3d9.ll" in the rootfolder of FSX, the FSX don´t start... FSX says: one or more files cannot load. pleas reinstall fsx or repair. If I put the d3d9.dll out of the FSX-root, it runs without any problems. :-( i hope you can help me to fix this issue. I have had FSX Gold Edition on my laptop for a little less than a year with an Xbox Controller and the other day I turned on my laptop (runs Windows 8) and it said it was installing updates 1/14 or whatever and when it was done, it said that Windows has encountered a problem with a ): Face. So I had to refresh my laptop and it uninstalled FSX. So when I went to install FSX Deluxe it said Error 1722 so I did the KB928080 fix in the command prompt and it worked. I activated FSX: Deluxe Edition on my laptop. I went to go install the FSX: Acceleration pack and it said that FSX Must be activated before installing FSX Acceleration, then it said to run the setup again. I am …

Hello. I have FSX with add-ons PMDG 737NGX, Ezdok camera, My Traffic 2013, REX Essential+. My problem is that inside the cockpit i cannot move the camera with my joystick arrows(Logitech 3D pro). Can anyone tell how can i fix it?

I am doing a lot of Florida flying now in FSX and have both Ground Environment X and Ultimate Terrain X. The ground textures look very good but there are no palm trees anywhere in the state that I can find. I have spent time in Tampa, Miami, Fort Myers, and West Palm Beach.Previously when I used Birds Eye View in FS9 there was an option that activated palm trees in certain areas. Is there such a feature in FSX that I dont know about? If I get FS Genesis landclass or Cloud 9 X Class would that solve the problem?Thanks in advance for any information.

Hi ... my question has been prompted by the fact of recently uninstalling FSX from my desktop PC and re-installing P3D and a resulting conflict. When i tried to replace the default flight in P3D with a different plane and airport i got a CTD every time, and stumbled on the reason it was happening. Autosave was on in FSUIPC and was writing its files to two folders in 'MyDocuments' on my C Drive i.e. 'Flight Simulator X Files' AND 'Prepar3D Files' ... after turning it off and emptying both files the problem was gone. I have always felt running 2 different versions of basically very similar software with identical file names etc on the same PC is bound to throw up proble…

When I choose a weather theme in FSX, how can I determine which clouds are loaded? I want to use FEX to generate weather themes and I need to know how they link to the FSX weather theme. For example, I create a FEX theme using the cloud Extreme Realistic......which FSX weather theme will use it? In FSX, do I select Fair Weather, Building Storms or ?????? I would like to be able to tie each FEX cloud theme to the appropriate FSX weather theme. Any suggestions would be greately appreciated. Thx in advance.

Hallo. My problem is that when launching a flight with fsx using EZDOK,REX Essential+,My traffic 2013 the Virtual cockpit in the captains seat is not loading. My settings default is 3Dcockpit. When i try to switch the VC from menu bar i see only the terrain and nowhere cockpit. The weird is that this is not happen in first officers seat.What should i do?

Hello Yes, I am having a fps issue. Being in this for 15 plus years I have ripped my PC, cfg's and everything else too shreds over the years. I have followed NN's tut's, Word Not Allowed's guides to the letter but cannot get the darn thing to overcome the lack of fps issue this time. My sim used to peg at 30fps even over Seattle in DX10 but now it just flutters at that 15 to 20 fps. My problem is that I can never get my fps to go beyond the 15 to 20 count! I've gone back and forth between dx9 and dx10. My PC is no slouch as seen in my Sig'. I have reduced all sliders to near left, gone to absolute desolate locations, look up at perfectly clears…
