When adding cameras, how do you get a new view. I'm looking for more than one cockpit view.

Hi all, This week I participated in a gliding camp, starting to let the bug bite. So now when I am not flying, just wondering does anyone have any suggestions for a quality glider addon that will help me stay proficient with the gliding skills? I have actually never ever ventured into the gliding side of FSX, therefore it would be quite interesting to see if I can actually use FSX to practice gliding. Other than the addon, if anyone is a bit more familiar with FSX gliding, if you have any hints how to make it more realistic, I'd love to hear it Thank you.

I bought this plane last April and I am tryig to find out if I hav the latest version. Majestic says that the version is indicated on the ISI next to the "A/C", which can be seen by turning off and on the electrics. But all there is next to A/C is a line that says that it is the Dash 8 Q400, but no version is indicated. How do I find out which version I have, and where do I get it? I bought mine from the Pilot Shop, but there are no patches there, so do I have to download the whole plane again (I have some downloads left)?

Hello again. Getting pretty enthusiastic about this simulator now. I downloaded the tutorial by Luis Feliz-Tirado and I just can't wait to do some new stuff. The only problem is that the images don't show up. I googled (can't believe this is a verb now!!)but the information is a little above my head. So if anybody can help a newbie, still at the bottom of the very steep learning curve, it would be greatly appreciated. Cheers, Benoit

Does OPUS plan on adding braking action effects based on weather conditions? Justin whetstone

I know you can adjust what percentage you want.. but does that vary from say out int he boonies to big cities? I never really bothered to look.. I'm trying to simulate traffic watching for radio/tv news etc..

And even FSX Acceleration gave us a good Istanbul city for the Redbull race... And with this airport for that very important city, I am so excited by this announcement.

Was wondering if anyone has tried this yet? It appears to be out as I was able to add it to my shopping cart (can someone verify?). This release looks promising as it is part of their new Hifi line.

I have been flying the above aircraft for a year now with no issues whatsoever until today. When I have taken off I action LNAV and VNAV and then the CMD(autopilot). However,when I action the Autopilot it does not kick in and after repeated tries it will light up but then the VNAV disengages itself and when I re engage it the CMD goes out,all very strange. Could anyone possibily throw any light as to what may be causing this problem. Many thanks in anticipation. Michael

Hi , How do i make a flight plan for a seaplane that does not start or end at an FSX recognised base. I have been making flightplans from one normal airport / base to another and only using the the middle part for my flights. Problem is there are not always airports/ bases close to where i want to fly. Has anyone found a better way, thanks Frank

Hello, Guys! In FSX, when I fly Boeing 737-800, I Nose-Up this Aircraft at CALLOUT 2. Means when an automatic voice comes as 2 during landing, then I nose up a bit and land the B738. It lands successfully, on CALLOUT 2. So question is that on what CALLOUT should I UP the NOSE of B747-400, so that it lands successfully? Boeing 747 doesn't work on CALLOUT 2 and lands before it. I just did a re-install of my FSX. Before i un-installed FSX I had a Key West scenery as my home base. I swear it was by Tropicalsim, but i can't find it in my back up FSX files. I thought maybe it was part of another Tropicalsim scenery package. I have searched high and low on my pc...i just can't find it. Hell I even tried to do a system restore back to before ub-install, but no good....I know i had this scenery...help!!!!

The new Cloud Smoothing was previously earmarked for the OpusFSI upgrade in 2014, this software preserves all localised cloud coverage during weather updates and hence prevents all major cloud popping during the weather updates. The Opus on-screen weather reports will append an (S) label to all cloud descriptions to warn the user that Cloud Smoothing is in force at that location and the listed cloud layers may therefore differ from what is displayed in the simulator. Hi guys! I've been flying the A2A Boeing 377 almost exclusively during the last 6 months or so. It's absolutely top-notch, but I've started to look for something else to fly. I have my entire FSX installation converted to a late 50s/early 60s setting - all AI is from the time (from CalClassics). What I'm really missing now is something else to fly. The Stratocruiser is great for long haul flights, but I enjoy shorter hops as well. I've searched the major addon retailers but without much luck. Installed Ultimate Terrain Europe and it looks great. My first problem was unwanted land out at sea in England where I am running Gen X VFR stuff, but a quick reorder in the scenery file took care of that. However, upon flying from Gibralter I find the Rock and airport are miles inland. Is this just me? Id have thought lining up coastlines was one of the simplest things software could do...as it is UTX is unusable, unless there is a fix. ?????

Greetings I am currently using OpusFSX (cameras), FS Global Real Weather and Accu Feel in my FSX setup. I am hoping that other members using similar setups can give me some advice on how to get the most realistic turbulence effects on my aircraft. I am posting in this forum, as I don't think it's fair to post in a dedicated product forum. The developers all have their own (quite valid) reasons for recommending certain setups, and I would like objective advice from other end users. I purchased the WX Radar and it won't display on any aircraft FSX Gold Edition. This system is Window 7 / 64. Any help would be appreciated.

As trying to remember which key turns on HD on FSX, I pressed Control + F12 and any mountain area turned to white a hazy white. Is there anything I can do to reverse it. Thanks

Hi, I am from India but I mainly fly in the Netherlands due to the NL2000 which is awesome. I am looking to fly in India too on Vatsim. Are there any sceneries available for India ? I am currently only on a GA as I am still practicing but will move later to Aerosoft Airbus. Also need the latest Landclass and terrain Mesh. Is there anyway that I could put up buildings etc... on a photoscenery ? any app other than annotator ? Thnx.

C'mon guys - let's all go ai native!! It's been a looooong time since FSX came out and we're still using a bucket load of FS9 ai aircraft. Hats off to FAIB, UTT and AI Aardvark for their conversions. A slight nod also to TFS - but theirs are only in Ultimate Traffic 2 (a conversion of your A380 would be awesome). It would be great to see all the other big names go native - what about it guys? Hi, I want to my FSX be more alive... so I'm looking software which simulate voices of flight crew (stewardesses/stewards announcements while any phase of flight, including taxing) and passengers aboarding/deboarding, their reactions on pilotage style, etc. I thought about FSPassengers X, but I think that is to much complicate for my expectation, besides I read many posts where people described their problems with FSPAX and PMDG airplanes together. Secondly, I tried demo FSPAX, and had problem with EZDOK Camera (it doesn't automaticaly start with FSX) - so I had to edit XML file and turn the EZCA autoexec off, then run EZCA manually after FSX and FSPAX started.
