In [GRAPHICS] (not DISPLAY) add this:ForceFullScreenVSync=1And yes, its 1, not 'True'and set your driver to let the application manage vsync. just tested now with my nVidia card, and I can confirm it works. Can an ATI user test? I tested also in my laptop which uses a crappy intel card and it also worked... so either I'm completely dilusional or this is one of those 'miracle tweaks' (for ATI users) test and report.

I have been watching the FSL website for info about their upcoming airbus and it looks like something I would like. However, there is no real eta on that plane and its difficult to tell if it will be out next month or in 2015! Given this I am really tempted to the the AXE. I know some of the reviews upon release talked about bugs. Has the plane been patched? I understand it won't be at the level of pmdg, but will it be a huge let down after pmdg quality? From the youtubes I have seen of it, it looks like an interesting plane. Should I pull the trigger on it while its on sale?

I have just purchased the above 2 products as a bundle. I have gone through the process of configuring both for my 1 aircraft which is the PMDG 737-800. I have gone through the flight planning process and when I click on Take Off in PFPX I receive the following message; 'No Top Cat Performance Module assigned to this aircraft. Go to Aircraft Editor and select appropriate performance module' Now I have assigned the PMDG 737 to both Top Cat and PFPX and I have already had Top Cat working yesterday but today no matter what I seem to do I cannot open Top Cat because of this message alert. Hi everyone, After having installed OpusFSX on my new computer for about a week, i started to do long haul flights and noticed the upper level winds / temperatures were not accurate at all, and even sometimes the complete opposite of what the real winds were. Reading the forums a little i found it was because the program didn't download the GRIB data... I had it on my old computer and it worked fine with winds extremely precise and accurate (congrats for this amazing software by the way). I still don't know why it didn't download the GRIB data, even after putting all the options to default etc... The weather on the ground is fine and accurate, i juste have problem…

I have yet to confirm if this problem is prevalent at MMMX v2, though regardless, my issue involves the jetways at KMCO. It's a great scenery, and a long-awaited one. What I've experienced is speccifically in regards to the NGX, as that's the aircraft that I've primarily flown to the airport so far. Basically, the jetway doesn't lower towards the aircraft. On the 737, this means that the bottom of the jetway lies about halfway up the door. I've tried changing the [exits] section of the aircraft.CFG somewhat, to no avail. Is this something that can be fixed, or not? If so, is it in regards to the aircraft or the scenery? Thanks!

Every year in the winter for the past year or so, I am noticing patches of "blue" under snow in various area (And sometimes you can see waves in the blue area, implying that FSX is treating it like a water area and there is no lake nearby) . It seems to appear randomly and often near an airport away from the area blocked off for the runways and terminals. And if you were to overshoot a runway or somehow venture onto these areas, your aircraft is thrust up in the air as if you were on water in a non sea plane. This is happening on FSX default scenery areas. I think that a year or so, I discovered a fix for this, but can't seem to locate it now. Anyone have any ideas …

I just got my FSX setup the way I like it and I'm ready to do some really short GA flights. When I was younger my dad used to take me up in his C172 from CYQG (Windsor Ontario) to KSKY (Sandusky Airport) and fly over Cedar Point in Ohio. I would like to replicate this flight, but I want to do it properly by mapping out a nice flight plan to follow. Are there any tools, addons or tutorials that you guys could suggest for someone brand new to something like this? Am I biting off more than I can chew? Should I start smaller? Much to my surprise yesterday evening on the dreaded Friday the 13th, I was greeted with this when launching FSX: I have never had a lick of trouble with FSX launching over the past 4 years on two different machines (3 installs in all), including this install on an SSD one year ago which I've accumulated over 1300 flight hours. I had completed two flights on Thurdsay trouble free as always and when I went to launch her yesterday it was a no go. Unfortunately I don't carry my FSX/Acceleration discs with me when traveling (that will change), so I can't attempt a repair for a few days when I head home. Hi all, for some a reason I have an issue with FSINN for some weeks. This error does not occur on each flight, but would assume 60 per cent of them. This is very annoying. What happens? I prepare my flight or start FSINN immediately, when FSX has loaded. After I clicked to "Inn Control Panel" to start the client, FSX freeze. In the FSX tiltle menu appears: "no response" and it literally does not respone. I have to restart FSX and try it again. If I am lucky it will work. If not I have to restart FSX until it works. I tend to fly commercial aircraft, namely pmg 737ngx and 777 along with majestic dash 8. I do not know much about GA aircraft and was wondering which would be the best to pick up. I have the A2A c-172 and the realair lancair legacy. I know names like Carenado get thrown around a lot on the forums, but I'm not sure which planes are the top picks for GA.

I guarantee there are tons of posts regarding this, and I have read a lot of them already.. but the FSX landscape seems to change every month and I want to make sure I'm doing everything right at this current moment. If I click on just about anything it takes a couple of minutes before I am able to click on anything. Is there something I can do to speed it up?

Hi, Im having distortion issues as can be seen on the attached image. Ive tried the Wide Aspect View fix on the cfg file but doesn't help. Ive tried playing around with the screen resolution settings as well but cant get this fixed. Im running FSX on my new laptop which is windows 8, 64 bit, 15.6" screen 16:9 aspect ratio. FSX runs fine on this but just can get the display to behave. This happens with all the aircraft but more noticeable on the A2A C172 menu screens as attached. I have been using Radar Contact V4.3 with PMDG Ngx for a few days now. I use flight plans made in vRoute (exported to pln files), which are uploaded on Radar contact. My question is one of realism, in terms of the radar controller's instructions. Usually, I get cleared to fly planned route as filed, and climb to say 5000 ft after take off. After installing their update from the website for KCVG from Imaginesim, most of the buildings have disappeared. Especially around the cargo areas. I have FSX w/ Acceleration but do not run DX10. What might cause this? Ground shadows enabled maybe?

I think that I need to go and change my shorts... I think today, I am amongst the most 'evil' and foreboding atmospherics ever...WOW! As I'm climbing out, and headed east towards CYYZ (Toronto, Canada)...I am being buffeted through the multi-layerd cloud bases...my airspeed is jumping like a flea, and the wings are doing the 'do NOT stress me, dance'! As many others have stated...you can no longer B.S. your way around the FSX skies after loading ASN. As one poster already stated....now..weather matters.... Back to the stick 'n shake... And it took me a while to get it work like i think it should( and by the way,so far iam quite happy !). just one thing that still bugging me is sometimes the cameras goes a little off then i set them. its mostly noticeable in the NGX hud. i set the camera so that the HUD display will be exactly in the middle. and when i open fsx again it off the center(like in the screenshot). and i have to change the cameras every time. does anyone know the reason for that ? I've been using OpusFSX pretty much from the beginning and have been very happy with it. I have a moderately complex setup, with six networked PCs, five of which are "external" displays. I use the Live View feature to keep the displays synchronized. Generally speaking, it works well and I've learned to live with the small stutters and "micro-lags". Unfortunately, with P3Dv2, they're not "micro" any more -- the stutters and lags are severe. P3Dv2 itself is giving me 60+ FPS on each of my slaves -- it's just that it's rendering 60 FPS of lags and stutters. :-( I switched back over to test Wideview with the same PC configuration -- it works pretty much flawlessl…

Is this possible when FSX is not the primary focus? For example, I like to load my aircraft at the gate then switch to other programs to do my flight planning I.e. pfpx and topcat but when I do the FSX sound stops. I've done a google and forum search and the few results that turned up say it is not. I vaguely remember a post by user who had a utility that kept the sound playing... I could be wrong. Any ideas? I have 2 keyboard shortcuts setup for different camera views. Sometimes it just stops working. I can keep pressing the shortcuts I setup on my joystick, but none of the keyboard shortcuts work. I minimize FSX and go to the studio that's running. Up to the options for keyboard shortcuts and even select them again. FSX does not have these keys assigned either. Help!
