Ive decided to create a new topic because I made the best decision in my life - get PMDG 737 ngx. I have 150-200 bucks which I will spend on addons. For now I have ftx global, Rex, gsx and accufeel v2. I would be grateful if You could help me choose (as this great community helped me choose plane) the best addons for PMDG. What I was thinking about: 1. Radar contact v4 (so I am able to use Sid and star with ATC) 2. i just wanted to know (sorry if someone already asked it...), is there any way as an ezdok user to get turbulence effect in clouds without using the opus cameras ? ive already tried the opus cameras and i decided to stay with ezdok. thank you !

Hello I have recently updated the Q400 to version 1.08 and I have installed it into P3Dv2 using the Estonia Migration tool. Everything appears to run fine on the ground while taxiing but upon takeoff the aircraft banks/yaws erratically and the sim becomes choppy and un-flyable. The frames remain steady at 30 but the view outside the VC stutters and is choppy. I did not have this problem with FSX so I believe it is something to do with P3Dv2. Under the MJC84 Control Panel I have tried the "FDE to FSX Sync" option enabled and disabled but the flight problem is still there. Is there anyone else experiencing FDE problems with the Q400 in P3Dv2? Any ideas on cause and/o…

So, I just tried to install FSX Gold Edition that I bought a year ago maybe. But I got a new computer and I wanted to install it. But when I put the disc in, I see, or rather don't see any files at all in the disc? But it still says that the disc is full and not a single byte is free. I've tried to put in Disc 1/2/Acceleration but none of them works. Hello All.. Hopefully this hasn't been asked before. I'm using FSX and I've got the Project Airbus A321IAE/CFM aircraft in there. Problem is that the contrails appear at right angles to where they should be...over and under the aircraft and not coming from the wings,,,,left and right,,, IIRC, there's a 'sequence' (codes just need changing around) in the .cfg file for changing engine smoke (from FS9 to FSX) and I suspect that this might be the case for this issue too Any help please..tried the confusing PA Forum..no joy there. Folks, Just got FSX freshly installed, and tuned using Nick N's guide. I'm ready to begin thinking about what scenery addons and utilities I should consider. I plan to fly mostly the PMDG 777 along with the 737NGX, and will most likely also buy the Airbus X as well. Most of my flying will be North America and Europe. I do already own a copy of FS Global Ultimate, but have not installed it yet. I live on the east coast, so airports I will fly from include Boston, New York (JFK, LGA, EWR) as well as Philly. I downloaded the update on the Just Flight web site and copied and pasted the required information from my original order that's on my account page, but I keep getting the message "Invalid Response" when I try to install. I'm entering my order number, my E-mail address and my last name as requested, but it will not install. I don't know what the problem is and the support at Just Flight is no help at all. Trying to reinstall FSX onto a new SSD and I get the disc error can't read UDF file... Brand new custom built system. Anybody seen/had this error before? Disk can be read and opened on my other machine so I know the install disc is fine. Thanks, Mark

I'm aware that having the cursor on the screen lowers FPS, but for some reason any movement with the mouse causes my game to freeze until I stop moving it. Happens in any view as well, not just VC. I can move the mouse in circles anywhere on the screen and my game will completely freeze until I stop, then it takes a few seconds to catch up and unfreeze. It's just movement that does it, the cursor itself being on screen doesn't do anything except lower FPS a bit as long as I'm not moving it. Is this normal behavior for people? Hi all Looking for a solution to a problem I'm having. I have been enjoying a lot of the pics from X-Plane that have been posted lately. One of, if not the biggest thing that I notice in all the pics that I see is the water in X-Plane. In my opinion, X-Plane has the best looking water in any flight sim. Is it possible at all to come anywhere close to this in FSX? FSX water(at any setting) is horrible. Can FSWC get close to or equal that of X-Plane? Is there some other payware/freeware option out there?

I am using PFPX as my flight planner. When I start FSX I always load the flight I am about to fly. I then pick the plane and put it at the airport. Then I load the flight plan into the FMC of whatever plane I am flying. Because PFPX has both sids/stars selected are they automatically loaded into the plane I am flying meaning I don't need to re-select them except for the runway I am flying out of and landing at?

a few weeks ago my new win 7 computer arrived. and i installed fsx gold. it ran great for 3 days, and then the computer went kablooey, and i sent it back. well my new, new computer arrives tomorrow. it's windows 8.1 64 bit. i feel like i should be able to use the fsx i just bought and was barely able to use. should i expect registration problems? if so, what are my options?

Hello. I hope this is ok to ask and I also hope it hasn't been answered somewhere before(I did a quick google search and didn't find the exact answer)... Anyway, I can't remember with Opus, can you use just the DHM effects without the weather engine? I want to say I think they are tied together. Is that correct? With the upcoming release of Active Sky Next and it's potential to be the end all be all for weather engines, I'm definitely going to be getting it. However, I would hate to lose the DHM effects provided by Opus.

Can this be done in any way? Thanks BK
